[Q] Bluetooth Problems (Garbled) on Stock S3 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey, I just have a question for you guys real quick, and thanks in advance
My mother is running a bone stock Galaxy S3, running on 4.1.1, and she is having problems with the Bluetooth system in her car (2008 Nissan Altima). When her phone is synced up with the system, and she makes a call, it is completely garbled, both on the calling end and the receiving end. I tested her phone with a headset, and it worked alright. I tested my phone (Which is rooted and I've tested with TW and AOSP) and it works fine. What I'm wondering is if rooting her phone and putting on a custom ROM/Kernel could possibly fix the issue?

Rom and Wi-Fi calling quality?

Just trying to compare and get some insight.
My girlfriend has a completely stock one s on 4.0.4 and mine I ran stock 4.1.1 and a few different modified stock custom 4.1.1 and have noticed that Wi-Fi calling has like a odd echo I hear when on Wi-Fi calling or a weird tinny sound.
Try again off Wi-Fi calling and the problem goes away.
This does not seem to happen on the older software.
Has anyone else noticed this too.

[Q] Bluetooth Headset, Vzw GS3 CM10.1 RC5

Searched around google, xda, similiar threads, couldn't find any help, so i finally decided to make an account and look for some help.
I recently updated from my stock GS3 to CM10.1 RC5, and paired with NovaLauncher, i love it. But i ran into my first real problem today, and havent been able to find a solution. I have a logitech wireless headset (Model: H800) that i use sometimes for making calls where i need to use both hands while on the phone. Ive always used bluetooth to connect my headset and phone and it worked splendidly. This is my first time trying to pair the devices since upgrading to CM10.1, and my phone now will not recognize the headset. I cant connect them through normal wireless, so im not sure what to do. Will updating to the new 10.1.0 fix this? Is there a patch somewhere i havent found? Any help would be appreciated.
Relevant info:
Verizon Galaxy S3
CM10.1 RC5
Nova Launcher Prime
Logitech H800
Bluetooth not connecting for the 2 devices.
I have to go to the store, so i wont be able to respond right away, but ill be back in a little while if anyone needs any more info/has questions. Thanks for looking!
Bluetooth hasn't worked quite properly for a while in AOSP. I went back to TW for that reason.
If you want AOSP and want fully working Bluetooth I suggest SLIM version 4.2.2. Also don't update the kernel from stock on SLIM.

Bluetooth issues

I am having trouble with my in car bluetooth kit...
It's a VW original touch phone-kit music device I am pairing my HTC one XL with... It connects fine and even sometimes I can take a call and it works fine.
But most times, it seems to restart my Phone-kit when on calls and even sometimes when I am not connected. Some times the audio will just switch to my phone as well and I have to toggle my phone back to use bluetooth..
I thought it was a problem with the phone-kit, but I have since tested it with a Samsung Galaxy 4 and an iphone and they both worked without and problems. No crashing at all so it seems likely that my phone is the problem.
I was using Viper 3.2.8 and now I am using CM10.1 Nightly build... and no change with the restarts...
Does anyone have an ideas? I've RUU to put the latest CM on, but I might just RUU back to stock and see if it does it. I have googled it and seems to be a wide spread problem with the One XL..

[Q] In call speaker problem

Hi I am a noob when it comes to Galaxy devices and I recently ran into a problem with my Galaxy skyrocket. Everything works fine my camera crashes and reboots whenever I use the flash but I can live with that but my bigger problem is that when I make a phone call the other person hears me fine but on my end the sound is terribly low. I have read forums discussing this issue and I have installed apps like Volume + but nothing has changed I tried changing the APN but that did nothing so can anyone help me out there in XDA Land? I am running CM 10.1.2 and whether it was this rom or stock rom the issue was still there. Not sure what else to do
thanks in advance

Are you using the Ucmc1 radio? If not...use it. If the problem still persists whether you are on a custom or stock rom...it could be a number of reasons. Might be a hardware issue.

Thanks for your response, I am using radio UCMC1 I was hoping it was not a hardware issue but at last, it just might be. Its weird because when I am dialing a number the speaker is fine it is not until a call actually goes through that the speaker takes a turn for the worse.

Samsung S6 BT call issues

I just got an used S6. It's a 920w8 on Telus with Android 6.0.1. Bluetooth music works fine, but when I try to make a BT call the sound is very garbled with multiple BT devices. Knox is tripped on it. I tried a factory reset. What else can I try?
Did you try the BT device on another phone?
Maybe the problem isnt the device...

I tried two BT headsets and the car. They all work with other phones.
I just reflashed the original rom and still the same. Could this be a telus rom issue?
I got the BT to work temporarily by flashing nougat. It worked for a few hours than it was back to ineligible crackling. Wiping/restore did not fix it. I reflashed MM(same issue), then I flashed nougat again and it worked for a few hours. Not it's back to crackling during phone calls. Music works well all the time. This is nuts...
In golden griffin I get no voice whats so ever, even on the headset.

Try another nougat rom like nemesis or the noble s8 port as griffin is not working on the t/w8 variant.

I just tried XtreStoLite. BT calls worked for about 10 minutes. All I did was intalled youtube and updated google services. Headset calls still work.
Maybe I should flash the W8 modem file on it's own? What would be the best W8 modem rom to flash?

One thing you haven't tried is using a custom kernel, bt performance and reliability isn't really a modem issue. For mm noxxious kernel is best and can be found in original development
Same thing with other kernel.
I reflashed XtreStoLite and it did not work at all the second time. It's really hard to figure out a pattern and what triggers the issue. If music did not work I would just write if off a hardware issue.

Honestly not sure what else you can try at this point, when you BT call does the issue happen wherever you are located? Like does it happen just at home or is it wherever you are?
Try using arter kernel and report back what happens. Make sure you choose the exynos 7420 section on his website.
http://arter97.com/exynos7420_kernel.htm
That is s6 edge chipset, he also enabled his kernels to work for our T/W8 devices.
Used to use xstrestolite and arter for an amazing combo.
