I installed the stock rom Serbia on my P5110.
The installation with odin, everything ok, but when I reboot, there is always written on the samsung
It should not be neither more nor on Download mode of recovery mode.
But when i connect tablet with pc, odin recognizes the tablet,but I can not put it in any mode.
Can you help me ?
What version of ODIN did you use?

Odin version, is Odin3 v1.85
Three-finger into recovery and wipe data.

My friend has the Infuse running the Cyanogenmod 9 RemICS-US. Since it was installed, both of our computers are not recognized. I already installed Kies and downloaded the Samsung drivers and it's still not being recognized. So, because of that, we can flash through Odin or Heimdall. She wants to change the rom back to stock and try again, but everything I've seen so far points to using Heimdall. Is there an alternative to flashing a stock rom and is there a safe way to flash using CWM?
Put ur phone into DL mode and then connect it to PC it should install the drivers if needed.
I had personally jumped between the ICS and GB rom without flashing back to stcok (Odin/hiemdall) without any problem, Only thing u have to do is flash the rom twice first to get the red CWM from blue and then from red.
Edit: Try with a different cable.

You don't need drivers from kies or Samsung for heimdal...heimdal uses its own custom drivers

I've had this problem b4, if u were using adb earlier open up task manager and fc it. Also if u have more than one flashing program (odin, heimdall, one click, gremlin remover...etc) close all but the one you are trying to flash with then restart download mode.

Pull out your phone's battery and check whether it says SGH-T959V in the sticker under the battery.

It didnt work for me.. i FCed adb, closed everything but this forum page n Odin still fail at modem.bin
my device is SGH-T959V.
What Rom are you trying to flash? What version of Odin are you using? Have you used my 1 click gremlin remove?

Im trying to flash back to factory ROM. my Odin version is 3 v1.85. and gremlin remove i have yet to try after Odin i went heimdall but that wudnt detect my phone in download mode.

Hello guys, I was trying to root my galaxy GT-I9003 to install an ICS rom and I had 2.3.6,,, I entered download mode and tried to use odin but it said failed. so i pushed the power button to swtich the phone off and it gave me a screen with cellphone and computer and yellow rectangle and it doesn't start or go to recovery mode the only thing i can do is to take the battery our for a minute then put it again and the only thing it does is to go to download mode and i tried to use odin again or samsun kies but nothing is working. how can i get this phone to work again please with the old OS or to start flashing a rom again?

Try rebooting the system and connecting and flashing again using odin.
If it still doesn't work reinstall samsung kies software and try connecting and flashing using odin.

I tried odin 1.7 and 3.07 and both are not working
I think the xxkpe zip file comes with Odin 1.83. Try it out as well.

Ok. Try installing xxkpe with pit on odin 1.83 then install your stock rom with odin 1.83 then it must work i think.

Did you install KIES? I think you have to. ODIN need some files from KIES. correct me if I'm wrong

I have tried numerous times tonight to root my gt-p5113 and have failed every time. I go to download on my tab and in ODIN flash the recovery.tar.md5. Once done, I restart my tab into recovery, but the issue is, that it doesn't reboot into CWM, it reboots into stock recovery. Any idea what is going on and how to get my tab rooted?
Try using Odin again but uncheck autoreboot in its setting, after pass in odin reboot manual to recovery by volume up+ power then if question appear as fix recovery say yes
Another method flash stock 4.0.3 via odin and try rooting, this 4.0.3 does not overwrite recovery to stock again

I did after I read the same thing from another post. After I manually rebooted it never asked me to fix recovery.

I just tried to put 4.0.3 MD5 on my tab and now an error on my tablet occured and I have no way to get it into either recovery or to the download screen
and i only see 2 different 4.0.4 on samfirmware.com. I don't see any 4.0.3.
For the nordic countries there are only 4.0.4 and Android 2.3.6, i need the P5110XXBLH4 version :\

Install any costum recovery (I recommend Philz or TWRP) via odin, and flash latest SuperSu.zip

i just wanted to ask....
WHEN IM STUCK THERE...I NEED TO UNPLUG REBOOT THE TAB AND GET BACK TO DOWNLOAD MODE AND RECONNECT WHILE ODIN IS STILL RUNNING ON PC....right?
but odin doesnt recognize the device again..
even changed the odins compatibility to xp.

I don't think I understand correctly, but you can reboot tab (to download mode) and pc, and try again.
If it didn't work, try flashing a stock firmware and give it another try.
Go to sammobile.com and download a appropriate firmware.
