Noticed the same on CM10 2013-04-18.

This minor bug is also present in CM10 (all builds), yes.

Nice job Skrilax and nadlabak
I want to try it but I think I will wait until video recording will be OK.
I heard that new kernel is needed? Who is developing this new kernel (if someone is doing this)? Motorola or it must be some modified custom kernel?
And what is wrong with keyboard backlight? Is it non-working at all or it's just some problem with automatic turning on and off?

3.4 kernel is in work by Hashcode, this uses heavily patched 3.0.y kernel (shared with all Motorola QC phones on MSM8960) and I don't expect that video camera will work until 3.4 kernel is used.
Keyboard backlight works, only automatic brightness will not work (yet).

I have an issue flashing ROM from 29/04/2013.
The are two errors (chown 0 1000 and chmod 750) to the /system/bin/iptables binary, because the file does not exist.
//Update: Attached report.log

Bad download (minzip: inflate read failed (32 vs 32768)).

CDMA nightly builds will start tonight.

I already thought about this. The md5sum is correct. I have the same problem with the build from today.
Maybe I'm having issues with my external sdcard, i discovered some strange files on it.
---------- Post added at 09:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:00 AM ----------
Well... Seems like a sdcard issue. Flashing from internal storage worked perfectly.:good:

Please remember that in regard to CDMA, we totally rely on your feedback.
Just let us know what works and what not, thanks.

So Stock JB is needed to use this? Where could I get that, from my understanding I´d have to wait for the OTA or use the SOAK, right?
Anyway, as long as Video ain´t working, CM10 will do fine

At the moment I'm at the ROM of 30/04/2013. But I can't upgrad the the one from 01/05/2013 or 02/05/2013. Checksum is correct, ROM has been loaded from internal storage, so this can't be an issue with the external sd card. Unfortunately I can't find the recovery.log file. It is not at /sdcard/clockworkmod where it should have been copied to.
An other issue I have is with NFC. On the CM10.0 build there was a point in the settings under "wireless&networks/more" where NFC could be activated/deactivated and so on. At the CM10.1 build there is nothing. So I can't test if it works or not. Could you reactivate this please?
Also if you enable NFC it would be great to have a point for NFC in the quick settings.

Great, thank you! :good:
So I only have to understand why the flashing doesn't work for me.

Ok, I was able to flash the last two ROMs.
NFC works!
But you should add the following to the build.prop:
Code:
#NFC
debug.nfc.fw_download=true
debug.nfc.se=true
This enables nfc for the Play Store. Otherwise it is not possible to get nfc specific apps like nfc taginfo and several others!

Yea, I'm trying to figure out why... I was really hoping it was a simple build.prop thing, but it seems to be deeper than that....
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! I've build this thing from source many times now and I was able to get 1xRTT data... but I never got phone calls to function properly. com.android.phone keeps imploding...

CM10. 10.1 has cam issues on similar moto hardware, so Skrilax_CZ went with CM10...
As for an option to mount the external SD card as /sdcard, I assume you could just "do this" - I don't see why the option needs to be provided? Also, what would you do with the "internal" SD? Odd request.
An external card option was added to CM for the original photon, so I was hoping the same could be done for the Q. See screenshot.

If it's a part of CM, then I don't see why it wouldn't be available. Did you look and see it wasn't available...?
Does this option "combine" the external SD and internal SD? Interesting if so, wondering how it achieves this. The whole internal/external SD thing seems kind of half-baked to be honest.
By default a lot of apps use /sdsard so if you want to use your own external sdcard or bring it over from an old phone this option allows you to mount it as /sdcard instead of Moto's internal card.
I haven't flashed the ROM yet because I'm a CDMA guy, so I don't know if it's built in to CM.

It's not in the CM itself, this is part of the device specific settings. I haven't made it yet (for things like multipress, i.e in CZ press 'o' twice fast and it will write 'ó' etc.). Anyway, right, it's not difficult to do at all and I like that option too.
As for CM10.1, it's likely we'll be doing it together with RAZR HD / RAZR M guys, however, there are some things that need to be fixed in their sources to make it work on our phone (such as display driver; this will take some time). And also Camera isn't working on it, as it was rewritten in 4.2 - will also take time. So I picked CM10 first, to know the differences between this phone and the other QC phones from Moto and so we have something that works (when the GPS / CDMA gets fixed).
I've also pinpointed other issues while testing it. It appears suspend / resume is sometimes not working properly (extremely poor battery life may occur) - which sucks hard. Compared to stock ROM, audio speaker is too low too.
1) Any QPST / SPC related things should be done on stock firmware.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING!
1. If you flash this ROM from Stock ROM, it will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.
Stock ROM
1. Flash CWM Compatible Kernel (CF ROOT)
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
Any other AOSP ROM (CM7/MIUI/CM9)
1. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
Upgrading from previous versions of CM10
1. Reboot to Recovery.
2. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.

Whenever I connect my phone to usb it freezes and the only solution is to pull out the battery.I'll try and get a logcat.

I will disable the USB Gadget for the next release if I don't get it working, so that the phone could be charged from USB without crashing.

That would be nice. :good:
The battery life on idle is pretty good. I suspect maybe some driver might be misbehaving when it comes to battery drain. Thanks to Samsung for all those useless crap drivers.

3) If there is a filesystem check it will take a while to get past the CM bootanimation
First build is up (for GSM, CDMA in a couple of minutes). I havent' tested myself yet, but people for RAZR HD say it's just as useable as CM10.1.

Heads up everyone. You will lose Root Access and have to reroot when installing 4.3 Other than that everything is going good so far. You can root with MotoFail2Go zip tho.

Hey, umm, I feel weird asking but did you need to do anything different to build the source than CM-10.1?
When building mine stops (with errors) at either Focal or Alsa, with "make -i -k" I can't get it to make a flashable zip only the IMG's.
If nothing different, what Java and GCC version are you using?
((As I have said in other posts though, I build from source to save bandwidth, learn, and maybe contribute. Not to re-brand anybodys hard work.))
Can I use these gapps with 4.2.2?

Correct me if I am wrong, I do not think so though. 4.3 is a different API level than 4.2.2 so it will need it's own version of Gapps.

Just this. See http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/46875/ .
Hey Skrillax, thanks!
Unfortunately, with me, It stays at the boot screen forever.
I have no idea what I should do to make it work.
Well it seems to be a long filesystem check. Give it 4 - 5 minutes first. I'm still on 4.2.2.
Hello again: I reached the welcome screen, finally. Unfortunately, there has been a chain of force-closes (never-ending). Should I start it all over or is it better to wait for a few more days?
Thanks again, mate.
I myself will wait until they start rolling nightlies for CM10.2 (at least Nexus 4).
You'll get a lot FC's at first. Let it be and after data comes up,force closes will be disappeared.
Sent from my XT897 using Tapatalk 2
i am on the nightly from 03.08.2013 cm10.2 gsm version and it is running stable. only 1 force close after first boot and the finishing of the configuration (like languag setup, google acc. etc), this force close is from the clock but only this one time. this was the only fc until now.
the wifi/data/mobile phone connection seems good too.
Root
How do you you get root back ?
MotoFail2Go zip just hangs
adb phone offline

how to get root back:
1. Settings --> About Phone --> Tap 7 times on Build-Number. now you should have the deeloper options back.
2. Settings --> Developer options --> Root-Access. select here "Apps & ADB
3. activate USB Debugging.
4. Reboot, finish now you should have root again.
Silly Me
Updated ADB in the sdk dir., but kept running the bat file in the old dir.
Thanks-You

this is a new "feature" of android 4.3 and not a bug. even if the wifi is off, it will be used for localization.

Downloading.... and making a backup now
Problem:
Flashed TWRP 3.0.0 with fastboot and then TWRP doesn't start
Flashed back to TWRP 2.8x. Flashing the CM13 ZIP results in an immediately rebooting TWRP after 2 seconds.
Then flashed the kernel from the CM13 Zipfile and tried the CM Recovery==> checksum error for the flashable CM13 ZIP.
What do I wrong?
---------- Post added at 06:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:45 PM ----------
all reloaded and made again form start! Now it's flashing and booting CM13
More about the test install later.....
Flashed original Firmware and wiped all for 2 times and then flashed ROM + Gapps:
CM13 is booting but not recognize SIM-Card neither WLAN
It claims "No SIM-card" and enabling WLAN cycles endless.....

stable for daily use (I use WiFi version), much better than original SONY MM ROM in terms of lags, battery friendly
bugs: mostly not working camera (not important to me), missing DT2W, crashing AudioFX (unless disabled)
today I'm going to test charging, have last 6% in battery
thanks to @bacon612 for this ROM, excellent work, hope you will implement DT2W soon
Edit: switched to AOSP 7.1 for now, had 3 random reboots in cca 5 days, so going to test stability in N
Does the kernel/ROM support quick charge as well as the latest stock?
On Android Host are two new builds with new dates.
Are this automatic builds or do they contain any new fixes?
Especially my castor has no Wlan and no LTE with the first build? I think there are some blobs missing.
But no comment from the author up to now

Hi there. I just did a repo sync and built to include whatever Cyanogenmod has merged until 11/11 including November security patch. You can try the castor build to see if it works but I haven't changed anything. If you let me know that it didn't work for you I'll try to get it to work.
Sent from my HTC One M9 using XDA-Developers mobile app
OK I will try it.
But all the behaviour of the not-activating-wlan is like some weeks before with the AOSP build. You can enable the WLAN and wait forever...... Or it claims the SIM-card as "not present"
In AOSP it was clearly solved after they added the appropriate binaries. After this all was running as expected. WLAN and LTE
Can you have a look on this?
I think the CM releases are only for devices without LTE and contain nothing (BLOBS) for activating LTE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68138341&postcount=10
Tested (flashed)
No WLAN and no LTE
1. SIM card not detected
2. Activation WLAN runs forever
WLAN claims MAC Address: 02:00:00:00:00:00
Neverever can this be true!
I did test that on an SGP511. The 20161111 is not rly useable as I cound't access/see any item in the status bar. Also notifications wouldn't pop up.
20161031 works almost fine but the auto-brightness sometimes seems to be off. As some already wrote: AudioFX crashes always when any app tries to use it. And charging is quite slow either i do use an Anker Quick Charge capable so it loads faster on Stock Rom.
Edit: I also happend to come across 5 times where the tablet would reboot during intense play/testing (using 2 diff. speed clickers).
Generally: How can i disable Cm Recovery? There is no option to disable "update cyanogen recovery" in dev options, so i can't get twrp running (except i do flash the multirom img). Btw. will there be any update of the rom?
The development of this ROM is IMO dead.
Since a long time nor further builds and no solution for not running LTE
Ah well, the dev. seems to not regulary check in. And after Nougat+Lineage it wouldn't be of surprise the development gets stucked. So that's why i am waiting on an (un-)official answer.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.0.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Also, the first boot may be laggy as hell, so, wait until the "Android is upgrading" notification ends and then reboot. You'll get a more stable system after that.
FAQ
Q: It's for daily usage?
A: It's a experimental test build to have fun and mess with. Obviously the bugs will be fixed soon, but, if you are flashing this rom and using it for daily usage and then complaining about it, don't point at me, you're the responsible for flashing this.
Q: Camera will be fixed?
A: Well, the camera it's a thing because we use a old type of camera, that previously was unsupported (HAL1, remember that nougat doesn't got video recording? Well, it was because of our type of camera). So, we have to wait to lineage to fix it or workaround it in some way.
Q: I got x issue flashing x mod!!
A: First of all, naturally mods are unsupported, and more in this case, i mean, it's a new version of android, obviously some stuff will be unsupported and they have to update it, so, if your mod doesn't work, please don't report it here.
Q: I got x issue! halp
A: If the issue wasn't reported already on the OP, please report it with a log, you can take it with adb logcat on your pc, or replicating the issue and logging it with Matlog (requires root)
Q: Sir pls do it for otus/moto e4/idk
A: I don't have the device so, how can i test if everything is ok? Also, please don't spam "Waiting for x device" because... that will not do anything more than make spam
Q: Where can i get gapps for 8.0?!?!?!
A: Please go back into the first post and read it carefully.
Q: When i installed the gapps, and go into play store, my phone keeps into "Getting info"
A: Did you flashed rom and after a reboot did you flashed gapps? that's why it's getting there. Else, i don't know tbh, it should work normally if you clean flash the ROM along with gapps.
Q: If i want to flash some new update, how can i do it?
A: Without doing any wipes, flash the new release, the gapps and magisk (if you used it, if you didn't flashed it, skip this) and then reboot. You'll have everything working without crashes and stuff
I think that's it for now, here's some screenshots

Sorry but Jio4GVoice App Just helps Dervice w/o VoLTE to place a call over Network & also If you are able to receive and place call using Jio (with Audio/Voice of Bidirectionally) without Jio4GVoice App Than its considered to have VoLTE Support
Edit:-
Tested Calling Using VoLTE (Device Dialer) it worked sometimes (not every time)
While Receiving Calls (Incoming Calls) are most probably received (Out of Coverage Area or Device Switched OFF) but when its placed The Device Restarts to TWRP (Factory Data Restart - Device Restarting)
These are the issues I faced (Using Phone Dialer)
Note: As per Dev VoLTE is still unimplemented so don't bother about it much till its implemented or said so by the Dev
@ElDainosor Thanks for the ROM

Hi, downloading 09.07 & pico. Will flash soon.
Do you need some tests?
Xt1524.
Hmm...
Oreo is ugly like... curdled milk, out of date for consumption.
Flashed without any problems, restoring apps from google account, will flash magisk 14 soon.
New trebuchet? Where the globe is rolling?
Good job.
Bt works, poweramp, jetaudio - yes, black player - no.
Tomorrow will check gps - waze, g.maps, navime.
Magisk 14, adaway - yes. Waze - yes.
How can I disable charging led(only for charging)?
