First of all, what firmware are you on? ICS or JB?
This CWM is only for Xperia J with Stock ICS.
Also, what do you mean exactly with this two sentences:

i used JB ... ;/ and I mean I can not do anything whatsoever to use the themes

But, what exactly is the problem you have and what do you want to do in xrecovery?
Please list what rom you are on etc...(The last 4 entries in the settings/about phone will do)

what kind of rom do u use? b/c i got same thing too, but, u have to use the right theme that match to the rom version. also, your phone need to restart all over again back to stock rom, then, flash the rom again, etc., and last, the theme.

And also which theme you want to flash then I can help you

Flash a stock firmware with flashtool, it should help

sounds like you have flashed a rom that is not compatable with your kernel. You may have to flash the correct kernel.
Also, the rom you flashed may be for unlocked bootloaders and you havent unlocked yours yet (Just a guess, but I bet you havent).
Flash this to get back to stock

hey guys finally i rooted my phone with the aid of doomlord kernel but 2 big problem have occured.
1-my sd card and xperia neo is not recognized i mean i cannot access to my sd card with usb cable i have enabled usb cable debugging and other media mode but it does not help me as well, i cannot do anytihng right now.
2-my second problem wifi connection which does not work now after rooting i cant get internet access
can u get into CWM and then acces ur sd ? if so try flashing new rom n kernel !

i have installed ice cream 4.0.4 with cwm it was succesful then i have installed kernel but after these 2 steps phone stays XPERIA screen and nothing happen i dont know whether i installed wrong kernel but by the way i have tried nearly 10 different kerlen to fix problem.

Re-flash a rom, remember wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache

always flash kernel first then do wipe data partitions and clear dalvik cache in CWm and then flash the rom via cwm...
(flash kernel in fastboot mod)
dont just try any kernel see the ROM thread to find which kernel is compatible with ur ROM

i have followed your instructions but it remains on XPERIA screen nothing happen.
i first mounted kernel with flash tool then i opened cwm by pressing volume down
finally i have wiped out all cache davit and made factory reset then i have instal succesfully below rom but nothing happen.

try going back to the stock rom !
before flashing ROm or Kernel u should always Backup ur curren ROm via CWm so that u can restore it in case anything goes wrong ( BASICS )...

MoonBlade bro now problem is 0 battery
everything was fine before unlockbootloader
but when i have locked the bootloder everything starts going wrong

Just flash cwm or stock firmware wid odin
For rooting just google a lil bit
Press Tx button on getting helped by me

Thanks for the idea but,I'm like a super noob...so could i find so like or guide to do this?
The only phone i have managed to root successfully tillnow is the HTC Sensation,that too coz of the tons and tons of help from awesome ppl here..

For noobs its recommended to start from general section and learn appropriate stuff about rooting custom roms etc...there is one stop shop which is recognized contributor a.cid's thread..go through it n transform urself
reflash cwm by using stock recovery..

and did you try booting your phone pressing the Home key + Power key together.. that surely will work 4 u
hi everyone .. im a new member of this forum as well as a noob in android field.. i've created a basic custom rom by replacing a couple and adding some apk in system file (USED dsixda's kitchen). when i try to flash it from CWM i get status 7 error. also i use stock rom gingerbread 2.3.6 with vishwanath's CWM 4.0.0.5 so that i can mount my system and data. also my mobile is rooted... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED GUYS ! PLZ HELP !

That screen you are talking about is known as recovery mode...

Thnx For the Reply ... ive installed RUU v1.17.401.2 restored to factory reset .. installed CWM Recovery ... But Didn't installed super user cause i dont want it .. for know tell me how to restore T.mobile boot logo .. ??? ive made so many backups with recovery on my previous versions ..

Stock are not so stock...
It seems that all the stock roms available for our HTC Pico are modded. They are not official. Most of the apps are buggy and some dont even work. The most irritating part is the loudspeaker which just turns on and never turns off! So irritating!
Zips are closest to stock as can be, Ruu's are stock roms, difference is that jaggy made those zips so returning back to stock is easyer, you can always use ruu, but downside is that you'll have to lock your bootloader, about the loudspeaker http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1812624&page=6 the second post here have loudspeaker fix, I'm not sure will it work with stock roms but it should.
