[Q] messed up micromax a110 and need help please ;(

hello everybody
sorry if have done anything wrong by starting or posting in wrong thread.......really apologies for that...
I have purchased micromax a110 and every thing was fine with that phone.i even flashed it to v2 ROM and things were fine even then(only problem i observed was with display having light faded up images of previous things displayed....don't know but feel may be due to screen refresh rate)
Yesterday i happened to find [MICROMAX A110] ROM of Mobistel Cynus T2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2060482
did as things were mentioned in post and everything was good and smooth
i then thought of reverting back to V2 ROM and flashed A110 with Sp flash tool,flashed correctly and phone was running normally........but i saw the options in sp flash tool and selected memory test option and selected all options and started the test after test finished i was not able to start the phone........ i then again flashed with v2 ROM and it started but iam getting invalid imei and NVram warning as WiFi network please help me to resolve this ......phones working properly but shows imei invalid and WiFi network i tried to root but cant even root the phone now

bro i am afraid you have erased your imei and NVram
have you taken nandroid backup before flashing the ROM??
if yes then restore the nandroid backup
or wait till someone upload the nandroid backup
or just visit the MMX service center and tell them that your phone is not starting up, but before that just flash any other ROM on the phone which is not supported by the phone. so that service center person will not come to know that you have rooted the phone and have installed the custom ROM otherwise they will refuse to service your mobile under warranty period and will charge you for flashing stock with imei and nvram data.

thanks bro i didnot make any backup and as u said i hav formatted deleted imei and NVram i have v1 & v2 rom which when flashed works but problem presists with imei and Wifi Showing NVRAM ERROR 0X....
Can u Help me in getting or can u provide me nandroid backup file(expect u as u r an senior member and i dont know anything much) n guide me to the next process so that it could work as before mmx people have said that the cant do any thing please need help

Bro if I give you my nandroid backup then it will work on your phone but my imei will be copied to your phone so that can put me in problem also as there is big chances that my imei also can get banned
i hope you are understanding what i am saying
you better search for the software or zip file which can add imei and nvram data to your phone
kindly check your box of phone
imei will be written there
so you can add your imei by software and that will work for you
i am searching for that software as soon as i get free from my work i will provide you the link of software and guide to do that

I do understand it bro but i cannot be doing that on my part as i will b grateful to u for the help and as soon as i recover my phone from ur backup and able to root then i will change the imei no to mine.....
The present problem is no root so no chance of solution and i feel i just need Nvram(/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/)folder so that my nv ram problem can be solved and i swear i will change the imei no too if u feel that u may be in trouble then u can send me the backup with changed imei no
i wish you stay at my place so that i can personally meet u and do everything before you my phones not even detected by adb also just turned dumb
if atleast root access was present i would have done some thing ;( :,(

Do U hv only imei invalid prob?
or ur phone didn't start or bootup. If it is on den use pdanet to install adb driver n communicate. After root u can write ur own imei. But if it is not start den u can re-read that guide which i provide u. Bcz i m not rooted n dont hv v2 rom so cant mk any such file.

Which rom u installed on ur device, if u use custom rom den uninstall any of equalizer app frm ur phone den try. Bcz sm custom rom have in built equalizer enhance audio quality.

First of all. Don't freak out. Nothing will happen. Be cool.
Try one by one and have patience. Some times you need to the things again and again. I have good experiences some thing like this.
How to solve the problem of “Invalid IMEI” – By Marshall0544
FILED UNDER ZOPO ROOT & ROM BY ZOPO_ITALIA
When IMEI numbers have lost after hard reset (full flash) on Phone MTK65XX - It will appear “INVALID IMEI” on the screen of your Zopo smartphone.
Here is the solution:
Smartphone must be rooted
Backup file containing IMEI codes MP0B_001
The file containing the IMEI codes (MP0B_001) in Android systems with processor MTK65XX, is in the following location: /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001
Backup and copy it to the Desktop with Windows 2000/XP/7
Place it in a folder created called IMEI in C:\Documentes and Settings\User\ and insert the files imei.exe and MP0B_001.
Now open a cmd window by typing start -> run -> cmd -> chdir C: \ -> chdir C: \ IMEI
Inside the cmd window, type: imei.exe[space][n ° IMEI1][space][n ° IMEI2] Example: imei.exe 123456789000 123456789000
This will create a new file called MP0B_001_NEW
Copy the file MP0B_001_NEW inside Android Smartphone renaming MP0B_001 and overwrite the existing file in /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/
Restart your zopo smartphone.
Install the file zopoimei_zopomobileshop.apk to change IMEI numbers.

1.Click on the button to dial the number and type * # * # 3646633 # * # *
2. Get into the engineering menu and choose: "CDS Information", "Radio Information", "Phone1"
3. In the box where it says AT+ add EGMR=1,7,"imei1", imei no should be in quotes and click the button "SEND AT COMMAND" where imei1- your imei for the first SIM card
4. If you want to register for the second imei sim card, AT+EGMR=1,10,"imei2", imei no should be in quotes and again click the button "SEND AT COMMAND"
5. Exit the system menu and restart your smartphone
6. Check your imei, dialing * # 06 # into the dial string

DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER DATA EXCEPT MENTION BELOW, OR ANY UNHAPPY THING HAPPEND LIKE PHONE DEAD, JESSICA DO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.
1- Rooted MTK 6577/6575 Smartphone
2- Mobile Uncle Tools from Google play store.
3- Install it and goto Engineer Mode
4- Select Engineer mode[MTK]
5- Under Connectivity Tab go to CDS information
6- Select Radio Information
7- Select Phone1 (for the first imei)
8- at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1″ (instead of IMEI_1 put your first imei number)
9- hit send command
10- You will / may get a confirmation that "sent to mSend".
10-if you done just reboot the phone, if you change the second imei go to step 2 and select “Phone2″
6-and enter the code “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2″ (instead of IMEI_2 put your second imei number) hit send command
7-reboot
8-Dail ” *#06#” Check Imei

OMG! I totally messed it up... [:'(] can anyboby please help me??

i am using HCL me G1 Tab (Android 4.0.4 ), Kernel: 3.0.8+.Recovery System 4[3e]. this is my 1st android device, bought it 1 week ago. I am new in Android World.....
I installed Superuser.apk (v3.1.3) [using normal apk installation method]..... Then I got root access in FX File explorer and Titanium backup... Today I found another SUPERUSER.zip (v3.2 signed)..
I tried to flash it from recovery but didn't work... So I just extracted zip files in following folders and replaced the previous ones:
1st mistake, i just copied superuser.apk to /system/app folder [using FX explorer]
2nd, replaced 'su' in /system/bin with the new one.
3rd, copied contents from xbin folder to /system/xbin
Done! and now Superuser not working......
Now u guys can feel what i've done.... just messed up every thing.. Superuser.apk has become a system app, so i can't remove it.. can't delete it because I lost root access in FX explorer. su command not working, because doesn't have permissions... Titanium backup not working... etc.. :crying:
i have some other problems [before all these happened]... after installing andriod sdk and adb drivers, adb commands don't find my device. so i can,t push 'su' again into device.. SuperOneClick stop responding after *daemon started successfully*....
can't install SuperUser in recovery mode.. coz i always get the error:
-- Install /mnt/external_sd ...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Can anybody please help me??? I know its my mistake but still i hope for some help from u guys... Please tell me what to do now [when nothing is working]....

Thanks for ur reply.... i tried what you told... but it didn't work. now it seems that no pc toolkit can solve it because adb can't find my device.. so when i ran runme.bat, it stuck on *daemon started successfully*
i tried other toolkits also.. adb shell commands, superoneclick, etc.... but result is same.

yea i m trying... but android is new for me. problem is that superuser has become system app.. can't even unroot it coz system is not rooted. :cyclops:

Can you just re-flash your ROM ? I can't promise you it will work, but if you just clear caches and /system, then you shouldn't lose anything on the internal memory and can start over.

sorry 4 late reply.. I actually couldn't find any rom for my device. I have tried diff ROMs, but everytime got some signature error..

can anyone suggest me some supported ROMs for HCL me G1?

You were rooted once lol
I don't have a rom but Give this a gamble http://www.androidauthority.com/universal-root-tool-android-phone-tablet-ics-jelly-bean-122641/
Also try installing drivers with and without battery phone off and phone on.
This is a 99 percent total shot in the dark.
I know your new to the Android world Keep this in mind for the future with all android apps "if it works don't f*** with it."

Its pretty simple, just reflash ur phone or simply try to restore it, every android device has an emergency downlod mode, if u can figure out urs, u can simply connect your phone to the pc in edm and input ur imei code or serial number, and abt 45 mins on a 150kB/s speed you will have your device back to normal

which software sholud i use in pc??? Odin pc?? in odin some files are required.. i dint find such files for HCL...can i find it anywhere in my device???

Firts u should find u original firmware for u phone them use odin to restore.
Remember odin firmware are .tar files
So that way u know.
And course put u phone in download mode

Okk... one problem is solved... :highfive: Only Unlockroot tool recognized my device,, i have rooted my device again with it.. Root problem is solved, it was a grand problem.....

yeah, im looking for those too.... most links are dead already, other stock roms wont install when i enter recovery mode on my phone.

Most links are dead, or taken over by ad servers or servers down for maintenance but indeed sammobile has some roms although not for my build.
Dont think im gonna go back to a stock rom with this phone though anymore.

SamMobile works (sofar one of the few where you can dll stuff from), but the firmwares i find there are not for my build. I used manual search aswell the detect device option. I get hits, i can download them but when installing/flashing they never get accepted by my phone.
Anyway, hard to find roms/kernel nowadays for such a oldshool phone.

Cyanogen(mod).com Also with an Rom installer for windows. I did it the hard way, flashing kernel with Odin (unexpected and unwanted cuss Odin froze up and stopped unexpected, after reboot i saw i had another recovery mode on my phone) to CWM and ran an unofficial Cyanogen mod with CWM through the Recovery mode of my phone (update.zip, anyway, with the CWM recovery mode you can select any file anywhere on your SD-card when that kernel is installed, no need to rename files to 'update.zip' anymore)
As a complete noob, it took me a whole night (just a single night) to find all this out on my own, so if i can, everybody can !!!! ;-p

In the recovery menu it loads the package, opens the package and then i get 2 kind of errors saying "bad package" or "wrong package".
Not so sure what exactly it sais cuss did that a few days ago in the middle of the night (doing this a couple of nights now and have a big lack of sleep now) and with cwm recovery i can choose whatever file i want to use as update.zip (even with the original filename) so i putted alot of files on my sd-card and ran them all to hope one of them worked. So i got alot of errors to see till i finally got the CyanogenMod7 update file running and doing his job. Dont think im going for an Stock Rom anymore on that phone so i dont bother anymore trying with that.

You cannot flash official Samsung firmwares with a recovery. You have to use Odin. Follow this guide:

[Q] Sony Xperia E dual keeps vibrating and shows green/blue LED when turned on

I rooted my phone and was about to install Nexboost V6 rom from following thread

Below were the steps given.
Flash 11.0.A.6.8 firmware (4.0.4 ftf)
Flash Poseidon Kernel
Boot into CWM
Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
Format system
Flash the ROM, enjoy your Sony Xperia Nexus
I performed first two steps and tried to boot into recovery but when restarting device it only keeps on vibrating and green/blue led pops up continously.
Before this sometimes sony xperia logo kept appearing and when i pressed volume up/down for booting into recovery, it kept restarting by itself.
I dont know if my recovery got affected or what..
Please help me in this regard.

hello, first thing first, no CWM if your bootloader is locked!!!!
okay, these steps can be done one a time, so make sure where the problem is exactly..
first..take off the battery and put it in again and FLASHMODE. flash the ftf and make a full boot if the phone boots with no problems then you can continue.
then, power off and FASTBOOT MODE mod and make the second step that is flashing UltraGamerHD's kernel and make a full boot to system again...
and so..... if your phone didnt face any problems you can install the ROM.
(make sure you download the kernel from the official website)

I have unlocked the bootloader. Now the guy from that post of Nexboost Rom quoted
" Retry the process.
Btw, I made a mistake.
The version number of the FTF is 11.1.A.0.68, not 11.0.A.6.8 "
I have found that ftf file and is in download.
Do that make a difference in my procedure. ??

oh yes (unexpected mistake) lol
dowload 4.0.4 ICS from here
for xperia E DUAL:
11.1.A.0.68 =4.0.4=ICS
11.3.A.3.1=4.1=JB

Ohk fine.. I will get back when it will finish, i hope i dont have to face any other issue.

Firmware and kernel were installed successfully but i faced an issue while installing ROM, it showed some error as :
" E:Error in /sdcard/NexboostV5.zip
Status 7
Installation aborted. "
I surfed related to this error and found out to edit the binary script, also followed it but still there is no progress..
M stucked again at this point. Looking forward for ur valuable help.

i saw your posts there and the "installation aborted" is just a quoted message that doesnt affect the ROM or the installation so you better refer it the ROM owner maybe he could help you other than that,
make sure that your system/ is mounted,,, just make sure you followed the instructions if you're facing a problem with this ROM, you may wanna look at my jellybean ROM. good luck once again

yeah friend that was just a qouted message. I got succes in installing ROM,
but again i got an error at first boot, when it started i got a message :
" Unfortunately Setup Guide has stopped "

setup guide doesn't matter, if the phone works fine after that message then yeah not a problem, if its stuck there then its the ROM's fault not your installation steps

Hey friend i got solution from that ROM thread.
I was just doing a silly mistake.. I skipped one step of format system from mount and storage of CWM.. I didnt knew that.

lol, I just told you to follow the instructions, these steps u should do most of times whenever you want to install a ROM, Happy flashing

Yeah u were ryt, sometimes in such a mess we dont know what we are missing..

I rooted my nexus 5 and changed the two files (framework.apk*system.apk*
and when I tirend my phone off .it is now not workes .but stuk.
Plz pkz help my phone is not turns on.
I tried to insttall android l again but it gives me the error statue 7

So you changed the two files that your phone relies on to boot into android? Why? What guide where you following? How are you trying to install android L? Do you have a custom recovery installed?

Reflash whatever ROM you were on or fastboot flash the stock system image.
