sorry if have done anything wrong by starting or posting in wrong thread.......really apologies for that...
I have purchased micromax a110 and every thing was fine with that phone.i even flashed it to v2 ROM and things were fine even then(only problem i observed was with display having light faded up images of previous things displayed....don't know but feel may be due to screen refresh rate)
Yesterday i happened to find [MICROMAX A110] ROM of Mobistel Cynus T2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2060482
did as things were mentioned in post and everything was good and smooth
i then thought of reverting back to V2 ROM and flashed A110 with Sp flash tool,flashed correctly and phone was running normally........but i saw the options in sp flash tool and selected memory test option and selected all options and started the test after test finished i was not able to start the phone........ i then again flashed with v2 ROM and it started but iam getting invalid imei and NVram warning as WiFi network please help me to resolve this ......phones working properly but shows imei invalid and WiFi network i tried to root but cant even root the phone now

bro i am afraid you have erased your imei and NVram
have you taken nandroid backup before flashing the ROM??
if yes then restore the nandroid backup
or wait till someone upload the nandroid backup
or just visit the MMX service center and tell them that your phone is not starting up, but before that just flash any other ROM on the phone which is not supported by the phone. so that service center person will not come to know that you have rooted the phone and have installed the custom ROM otherwise they will refuse to service your mobile under warranty period and will charge you for flashing stock with imei and nvram data.

thanks bro i didnot make any backup and as u said i hav formatted deleted imei and NVram i have v1 & v2 rom which when flashed works but problem presists with imei and Wifi Showing NVRAM ERROR 0X....
Can u Help me in getting or can u provide me nandroid backup file(expect u as u r an senior member and i dont know anything much) n guide me to the next process so that it could work as before mmx people have said that the cant do any thing please need help

Bro if I give you my nandroid backup then it will work on your phone but my imei will be copied to your phone so that can put me in problem also as there is big chances that my imei also can get banned
i hope you are understanding what i am saying
you better search for the software or zip file which can add imei and nvram data to your phone
kindly check your box of phone
imei will be written there
so you can add your imei by software and that will work for you
i am searching for that software as soon as i get free from my work i will provide you the link of software and guide to do that

I do understand it bro but i cannot be doing that on my part as i will b grateful to u for the help and as soon as i recover my phone from ur backup and able to root then i will change the imei no to mine.....
The present problem is no root so no chance of solution and i feel i just need Nvram(/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/)folder so that my nv ram problem can be solved and i swear i will change the imei no too if u feel that u may be in trouble then u can send me the backup with changed imei no
i wish you stay at my place so that i can personally meet u and do everything before you my phones not even detected by adb also just turned dumb
if atleast root access was present i would have done some thing ;( :,(

Do U hv only imei invalid prob?
or ur phone didn't start or bootup. If it is on den use pdanet to install adb driver n communicate. After root u can write ur own imei. But if it is not start den u can re-read that guide which i provide u. Bcz i m not rooted n dont hv v2 rom so cant mk any such file.

Which rom u installed on ur device, if u use custom rom den uninstall any of equalizer app frm ur phone den try. Bcz sm custom rom have in built equalizer enhance audio quality.

First of all. Don't freak out. Nothing will happen. Be cool.

How to solve the problem of “Invalid IMEI” – By Marshall0544
FILED UNDER ZOPO ROOT & ROM BY ZOPO_ITALIA
When IMEI numbers have lost after hard reset (full flash) on Phone MTK65XX - It will appear “INVALID IMEI” on the screen of your Zopo smartphone.
Here is the solution:
Smartphone must be rooted
Backup file containing IMEI codes MP0B_001
The file containing the IMEI codes (MP0B_001) in Android systems with processor MTK65XX, is in the following location: /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001
Backup and copy it to the Desktop with Windows 2000/XP/7
Place it in a folder created called IMEI in C:\Documentes and Settings\User\ and insert the files imei.exe and MP0B_001.
Now open a cmd window by typing start -> run -> cmd -> chdir C: \ -> chdir C: \ IMEI
Inside the cmd window, type: imei.exe[space][n ° IMEI1][space][n ° IMEI2] Example: imei.exe 123456789000 123456789000
This will create a new file called MP0B_001_NEW
Copy the file MP0B_001_NEW inside Android Smartphone renaming MP0B_001 and overwrite the existing file in /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/
Restart your zopo smartphone.
Install the file zopoimei_zopomobileshop.apk to change IMEI numbers.

1.Click on the button to dial the number and type * # * # 3646633 # * # *
2. Get into the engineering menu and choose: "CDS Information", "Radio Information", "Phone1"
3. In the box where it says AT+ add EGMR=1,7,"imei1", imei no should be in quotes and click the button "SEND AT COMMAND" where imei1- your imei for the first SIM card
4. If you want to register for the second imei sim card, AT+EGMR=1,10,"imei2", imei no should be in quotes and again click the button "SEND AT COMMAND"
5. Exit the system menu and restart your smartphone
6. Check your imei, dialing * # 06 # into the dial string

DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER DATA EXCEPT MENTION BELOW, OR ANY UNHAPPY THING HAPPEND LIKE PHONE DEAD, JESSICA DO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.
1- Rooted MTK 6577/6575 Smartphone
2- Mobile Uncle Tools from Google play store.
3- Install it and goto Engineer Mode
4- Select Engineer mode[MTK]
5- Under Connectivity Tab go to CDS information
6- Select Radio Information
7- Select Phone1 (for the first imei)
8- at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1″ (instead of IMEI_1 put your first imei number)
9- hit send command
10- You will / may get a confirmation that "sent to mSend".
10-if you done just reboot the phone, if you change the second imei go to step 2 and select “Phone2″
6-and enter the code “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2″ (instead of IMEI_2 put your second imei number) hit send command
7-reboot
8-Dail ” *#06#” Check Imei

this device is pre rooted..all u have to do is download superSU from play store !!
now u know that this device lags ... u have to download no frill cpu control from play store !
now set the max speed to 1200 mhz (NOT MORE THAN THAT) nd set governor to perfomance...! click apply !
now the device wont lag (my words) and its alot faster
ill make a rom for this device if i get sufficient thanks cuz that will tell me that there are a few users of this device
note : sometimes it will say error did u allow supersu permission but try again clicking apply and it will work !

Sure start making a rom i will try that but first give me a working CWM recovery or method by which i can make a backup of stock rom just in case in future have to restore...

But 7Ci got CWM recovery , is that device suports? Actually CWM recovery which can be flash over 7ci is not made for 7ci it is for another device but works on 7ci so can we also.... ?

No way bro... because there is no way to recover if something goes wrong ... we don't have any flashing tools, guide, stock roms, derives etc etc...

I am new to this community. I got ubislate 7c+ tab with sim function.
I have done factory reset on my tab after that it doesnt shows network. I have tried all company's sim cards but it does not work.All other functions are working properly only it does not show network so i cant use the calling function and gprs. I have called customer care they told me to use reset button, I have done that also but no use also the inbuilt browser i.e ubisurfer shows that "the device is not registered error 0001"
Please help me what should I do? I am so helpless right now? does my money wasted or what?:crying:

see serial no and mobile network type is unknown here also it doesnt matter ... but my sim and gprs working so thats why service state shows in service...
ok try this:- put a sim recomended Vodafom(in my case)
go to setting/ backup & reset
click factory data reset
keep uncheck to erase sd card
ok reset tablet
ok erase everything
device will boot into reset mode where you will see a android man , dont touch anything just keep your tab to complete everything...
and after 4-5 min you device boot up and you will see everything as new one.
Now wait for 2-3 min to install everything and setup your system
If everything goes fine your network should appear if not then go to settings/ more(under data option)/ mobile network/ access point names/ see there if your setting are instaled there and the small circle is blue if not the click on circle and if will turned into blue.
One step back... and uncheck dada enabled option and again check data enabled box.
wait for 1-2 min your gprs & network should work.

Hello all,
I have a KArbonn A2 phone with gingerbread.... i tried flashing the ICS firmware of KArbonn A2+ since i knew both phone have exact hardware with no change at all. After flashing ICS it was runing all good and smooth but the only problem is i couldnt get the network on it. It shows the SIM name
but always NO SERVICE .. i flashed back to original now but is there any tweaks to make network work on ICS?? It would be great if all those users like get to upgrade to ICS since it is one of the most cheapest android phone. Thanks

i tried but no luck
Your issue is that your efs partition got corrupted and this can only be fixed by the OEM legally. I would send it in for repair.

i flashed back to gingerbread and its working normally.. i just wanted to ask if there is any tweaks or mods to make network work on ICS firmware.

Your problem is that when you are flashing a new rom your imei number is getting deleted and hence you are not able to connect to any network. You have to take backup of your imei before flashing a new rom. You should check this link out

I tried that too . After pushing the backup MPOB_001 file to nvram it says invalid IMEI . Im being hopeless now

Can you tell me the exact steps what you did one by one starting from rooting your phone.like how you rooted it and how you are trying to flash it.

I flashed ICS firmware via SP flash tool then rooted it with framaroot 1.6 its was still no service and i pushed backup MPB_001 File through rootexplorer to data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001 and changed the file permission to rw-rw---- and rebooted the device after reboot It started showing invalid IMEI

Hello, I have rooted my Xperia C and It was 1st time that i rooted my phone , but after rooting it I found that it has become complicated for me to use rooted phone,as I am not having any knowledge what to do after rooting my phone. So I decide to unroot it, but I already deleted my some in-built apps without doing backup of them :crying:. I have tried every thing that I could do to bring my phone to stock and claim warranty , but I was not able to succeed in any method that I tried..
Following are the methods which I tried to reset my phone and to bring it to stock-
1- done factory reset - (not worked)
2- try to reset using PC Companion but now PC Companion is not detecting my phone
3- At the end I thought of fixing this issue using FLASH TOOL , I have the new Android 4.2.2 16.0.B.2.6 firmware.ftf update of Xperia C, but when I tried to install it using the flashtool, it also not working at all. When ever I starts flashing it getting abort again and again... :crying:
I am really confused what should I do now I tried every thing :crying: ...Please help me if any one can tell what I should do now???

all function of my phone are working properly, It just that I am thinking of claim My warranty by sending my phone to sony service center, but I am worried that they will come to know that my phone was rooted , as some in-built apps are missing from it...

may i know why do you want to send you phone to sony store
tell me the system app i will upload here
It's simple.. Dial *#*#7378423#*#* and do customization reset.. Your phone will become new with all built in apps

may b not possible as its for those whose has not change phone states with root
I want to send it to service center to conform that my warranty is claimable or not

Root your phone definitely voids warranty and unrooting brings it back, only if the members of service center don't find that u have rooted your phone ...
and I want to sent my phone to service center so that I can find out that my my phone's warranty is still claimable or not. and if claimable they I can get my phone in way it was 1 day of purchase ...
And frankly saying I don't remember that which In-built software I delete when I rooted my phone, so please paste here all the apps which are in system folder, or tell me how can I transfer them in system folder again, Do I need to root my phone again.. thanks..

But, @chauhanjayc is absolutely Rite, Dial *#*#7378423#*#* and do customization reset is exactly the same of doing factory reset of your cell phone, as I have removed my some system apps so they are removed form the system of my phone, so factory rest or Dial *#*#7378423#*#* and do customization reset will not bring them back , but I appreciate your reply:fingers-crossed:

this one is for those who are stuck at sony logo (bootloop)
and sony comp. is for those who are able to boot
basically this one is a official flash tool and pc comp. is a sony pc kit having some of extra features....

now one major benefit of pc comp. is even if you are upgrading or repairing your phone it will keep you phone on until the software download finishes ,
where in sony update service will do ask you to connect you phone in flash mode so no way you can use your phone while software is downloading...

I have htc desire 620 g i have deleted some system apps after rooting my phone. Can you help me to get my system apps to get the warranty back. Please help
I will describe my problem in brief.....2 mnths b4 i hv rooted my s1 titanium using framaroot-gandlaft xploit..and after a month passed some how while using a open wifi network i got my wifi corrupted...the issue was that my wifi signal colour dosen't changed to blue and playstore wasn't opening...so i factory restored my phone using recovery mode bt no use..so i decided to unroot my cell using framaroot and wnt on to karbonn service centre...they took my phone and flashed my software again..since thn till date i hv been trying to root using framaroot...or flashing the superuser update.zip provided by u..bt no use..i cant root back my cell..plz help..beg of uu..i want to root again and ths tm i also wnt to apply custom roms to my cell..so plzz plzz plzz do hlp me..

Download MTK Droid tools...
Extract and open it ...
connect your phone to pc....
wait for it show....
Look in the down left corner...
If it's yellow that means u are rooted if not click root button....
And for cwm you can also flash with this tool...
Root using some different method for your device...

After flashing a Rom, my phone didn't recognize my SIM. Thinking it was a bug,I restored my old Rom. But then also my sim is not bring recognized.I did a factory reset yet no use. Please help me out.

Bro wipe everything and then flash any rom for xperia c...
Then select the network in gsm mode...
If still the problem persist then ur sim card maybe not working...
Try exchanging sim positions.

I've done that. But no use.
The SIM is fyn coz I put it in another phone. Nd it is working.

Well, at first I tried to flash vanilla Rom to my Xperia c. Then after flashing it, I booted up. But the rom had many bugs like no navigation soft keys, SIM card not detected and so on. So I restored my latest backup of my phone. Then I booted up, to see my SIM not being recognized. So I triedto restore other backups I had, but no use.I did a factory reset, flashed stock Rom, but no use. This ous what happened.

then why didi u use invalid imei a title try my rom i just posted it in dev section
it is basedon stock and nothing much has been altered so u can use it and report back to me

Download chamelephon app from playstore.....
And follow the instructions....
It will generate a temp imei for u...
Use MtkDroidTools for fixing imei, check ur mobile box for imei and fix the error

I tried to to flash new imei number usind mtkdroidtools. But they do not have the files for Xperia C:crying:

Yes you can restore the original imei which is written on the box...
