Hello,
This is probably a long shot but I was wondering if anyone running the latest official CM10.1 preview has an iPega Bluetooth gamepad and if it is with working for them? Mine was working when I was on CM 9.1 but not since I went to CM 10.1. It pairs but none of the apps that had worked with it before recognize the input using any input mode. Other than that the ROM seems to be fine and hats off to the devs for the great work. Thanks.
So it turns out that I am having the same issue with a BT mouse (MS 5000). It will pair but not connect. I have unsuccessful tried several things like resets, reboots, and some of the bluez related fixes posted on other forums related to this specific accessory. (From what I have read, bluez is not the method JB uses for bluetooth anymore so that did not work.)
The controller is supposed to just act like a BT Keyboard (in the way I have configured it). I am wondering then: has anyone running this rom successfully used a BT Keyboard or BT Mouse?
Thanks.
As a final update I sold the ipega and never did see it working on CM10.1. However I did pick up a Moga which works well with the universal drivers in the play store.

Im sure this may have been addressed but couldn't locate it.
I have a bluetooth keyboard and touchpad. i want it to work with my moto atrix. So far i have used the 'blueinput' app but it only recognizes my keyboard and not the touchpad. anyone have luck with any other way to sync a bluetooth keyboard with their android? i also am looking at 'KeyPro' but i havent tried that yet.
like the title says,
the handset wouldn't let me enter a manual pin like "0000" etc.
it automatically generates a pin and asks me to enter on the zeemote! what the #&%!?
(see the photos)
i tried Bluez IME but it tries to pair using the phone's default pairing method which is the problem in the first place.
i contacted HTC support and they apologized saying there's nothing they can do about it. what the #&%!?
please point me at a solution to force manual pin or a hack.
i've seen guys pair with this same controller from the default bluetooth settings on other phones (YouTube).
so frustrating
unfortunately, this is an issue with the HTC bluetooth stack for the sensation and evo3d.
the only game pad that works perfectly with it so far is the BGP100
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/msi-bgp100-bluetooth-gamepad-1-aaa-battery-included-13760
trust, ive tried almost every controller you can think of (including console controllers), with every possible bypass method for android, and the only one that works easily and perfectly is the BGP100...
the only downside is finding one
EDIT* the only one i havent tried, but think it will work is the iControlPad: http://icontrolpad.com/
$*1T! i already bought the zeemote!
looks like you've done your research; saved me a lot of time XD
hopefully, someone uploads a fix soon. please remember me if u find one!

Have you tried mobilegear.com's driver?
http://mymobilegear.com/GameProAn.php
I think you can try it out and see if it works and if it does it'll cost you 10 bux.
I bought the drivers for the i-tech bt virtual keyboard because no other bt drivers would work. Now it works perfect for 10 bux!

I tried the trial. It still tries to pair using the phone's default method so it's the same as bluez IME.
It's not a driver issue I think. It's an issue trying to connect the device in the first place.
the best fix is if HTC creates a new BT stack with a new kernel release, or if a keen dev takes a stab at it...at first it though it was a BT3.0 issue, but ive had keyboard and mice and headsets that were 1.0/2.0/2.1 that connected right away thru android...
there could be an app made that overrides the bt stack, such as the one kpjimmy posted, but most trials arent as effective as the paid versions...
you have a couple options, but none of them are free atm
Hi guys
I'm having an issue with the apple wireless keyboard working with CM9
this happens on both official nightly CM9 (I'm on that now) and on OpenSensation.
I have had a couple of reports from other users that some other bluetooth keyboards work - but nobody that i found that specifically uses the apple wireless keyboard.
This is what happens:
I turn on bluetooth and go to pair the keyboard. half the time the pairing takes a few goes, and often i have to restart the bluetooth. When it does connect is says "connected" on the bluetooth settings.
however, there is no input or reaction from the keyboard. It's as if the keyboard doesn't know it's connected. disconnecting and repairing doesn't change anything and neither do full wipes or cache and dalvik wipes.
Anybody got any thoughts on this?
bluetooth keyboard
usually the bluetooth recognition keyboards are "specifically" for those phones.... if other ppl can use it, perhaps its because their kernel settings have been changed or it doesnt detect for some incompatible issues and it allows them to use the keyboard, do u have a custom kernel and or custom version of htc, from the development section? usually a custom kernel can modify this setting and allow your bt keyboard that's not made for the htc to work since it will bypass the verification part
Hi, thanks for the reply.
As I said I'm on official cm9, I tried a different kernel to see if it would change, but no, by default I'm on the standard cm9 kernel, whatever that is.
I believe that open sensation used faux (correct me if I'm wrong), I'm not certain about cm9. Either way, other people on open sensation had other keyboards working for them and hopefully they would have mentioned if they were using a different kernel...

no more thoughts on this?
faux kernel knocked out wifi and BT on CM9 nightlies, so that's out of the question.
any help would be great!
CM9 + Apple BT Keyboard
Same behaviour for me (I'm on a Nexus S though). CM9 nightlies, Apple BT keyboard pairs fine and says it's connected but then no keystrokes are registered on the device... nothing happens when I type. Frustrating!
Anyone else having issues with their SGN 10.1 and bluetooth keyboards. I had been using an Adesso BT keyboard with my iPad for a long time and it worked great. Switch to the SGN 10.1 and now I'm having issues where it'll behave like a key is stuck and go bonkers. Usually I have to power off the keyboard to get it to stop. Power back up and connect it and it's completely random how far I'll get before it goes bonkers again.
So, I thought I'd give another keyboard a try to see if it was something about the keyboard. Not so much. I picked up a brand new logitech BT keyboard (with solar recharging) and I'm having the exact same problem. WTF is up with the BT stack on this thing? Mouse works fine, Jaybird BT headphones are flawless, WiiMote and SixAxis controllers, also good. Simple BT keyboard, unusable because of this issue.
I have the latest OTA update and hope it's just a software issue that will be solved with JB which supposedly swaps out the BT stack, but God only knows when Samsung is going to get that pushed out for US owners of the 8013.
Anyone know what voodoo is required to get a BT keyboard to work reliably with the current firmware.
I'll also put it out there that I have SwifKey installed and have tried the BT keyboard in every combination of SwitfKey active, not active, enabled, disabled, even uninstalled... Same results.
Thx.
Hey,
i hope someone can help me with this Problem.
I want to play some games on my S6 using my Dualshock 4 controller. But there are some issue.
When i pair my controller usingthe built in Bluetooth, then the controller works just fine for like 15s, then all inputs become really delayed (delay ~2s), assumed an input is even recognized. If i toggle the Bluetooth off and on, pair the controller again, then same thing: 15s ok, then horrible lag.
It seems like, that the Bluetooth goes into some power saving mode, but i dont know it.
I tried some of the recommended apps (sixaxis, bluez IME,...) but they just dont work with this New device or are just outdated for the DS4.
