Kernel - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

What is the lastest and perormance kernel for stock custosdm roms

Yajnab's kernel is the latest
I use jana v7 kernel for performance..

I try jana's its goof but very big problems on 825 mhz

Dude if you overclock that much any kernel will give you a problem and it also may be harmful to the phone.

I know but I want only try 825
Why our cpu cann't overclok 800 mhz
Galaxy ace, young and gio 800 mhz
but we have got same cpu?

It's your device's problem. Mine can run even on 864mhz
My friend has a Ace which cannot run after 825mhz.
Secondly, there's not much increase in performance after 750ish frequency.
Don't go by the numbers, the performance depends on software+hardware combined. Young works similar to our device inspite of higher frequency. (because it's broadcomm, and broadcomm ain't good )

I'm stand thanks.

[Q] OC alfs

hello I have ROM and kernel GignerDx Alfs, how can I turn up the processor to a value such as 700MHz? because I have a choice only between 600 and 729mhz. At 729 I restarts: (Please help

[Q] Is this ROM version OC?

Hello. Since i haven't found any info about that (yea i am noob here and most likely that question will be answered somewhere, but...) so i would like to ask you.

I have recently flashed CyanogenMod 7 into my Samsung Galaxy 3 (i5800) and everything works fine. I just wanted to ask if this ROM version is OC or not? As far as i know it is possible to overclock galaxy 3 processor up to 1GHz. So Does this version do overclock my processor or doesn't? And if yes - for how much? Thanks in advance
EDIT: I flashed "ODIN -> CM7.1.0-GT-I5800_Alpha7.zip (130.35 MB)" this one version. Also if this one does not OC - where can i download oc version (800 or 1000MHz) since multiupload links are not working?

It overclocks to 1GHz or 1.1 GHz. Can't remember and there is no NON-OC version available. Also, the maximum overclock for our phone is 1.4 GHz but very few people find it to be stable.
Thank you very much, that's all i wanted to hear. Cheers

MT6577 1GHZ overclock to 1,68 - phone crash ofter offten ( prestigio 4500 duo )

How much should i overclock this CPU to not make phone crash (Prestigio 4500)?
circa 1,4 phone works good, but hot, if i overclock to 1,68 or 1,7x phone crash after boot, i use to OC modified kernel from china phones rom (bedove or something like that) ..
Guys, what method to OC is better...
I change voltage etc, but cant make it stable..
thx

hi, i dont have now mtk6577 phone pretigio, now i have zopo zp998,and use it..
If your phone is a 1ghz, then OC to 1.5 is max you want to go. There are write ups here on XDA, just search. Going too high starts putting too much of a stain on the system. Under voltage can help, but you just can't be applying settings without knowing what they will actually do. There are write ups on XDA about that as well.
Try disabling your animations and other performance robbing settings and run the phone at 1.3 or 1.4. Other than that, you have some reading ahead of you. And make sure you backup up everything, before you apply settings to boot!!
Hit thanks if I helped.

Nope Bro it wont...By default the processor speed is 600 mhz but u can increase it in the settings...
First u have to enable Developer options i.e., Settings-->About Phone-->Tap BUILD NUMBER rapidly(Around 10 times)...
Now to check ur processor speed or to increase it Go to Settings-->Performance-->Just tap OK-->Processor :good:

prabhuinbar is right in what he says but not all the Roms as standard here will have the ability of overclocking your processor, I think mainly the cm11 (kitkat) roms have it included or the developers have an extra update.zip that when flashed can OC. Check out the ROMS section, have a read of what is and isn't included. They are all quite easy to install, backup phone, wipe, install new rom, install oc update.zip if needed. Then as above what prabhuinbar said.
It depends from ROM.
In some ROMs you won't be able to overclock until you flash custom kernel that supports overclocking.
And some ROMs/custom kernels can have different overclocking profiles(in some you can clock to 700Mhz in others it's possible to 900Mhz).
Basically overclocking is sometimes good but my my personal experience it may cause battery drain, random reboots;in some cases it can burn NAND,not happend to me.

[Completed] Changing cpu settings for Motorola defy (MB525, CM 7.2)

Hi! I'm wondering if it is possible to set the cpu clock for the Motorola defy at 800 mhz instead of either 600 or 1000 mhz. I really dont want to overclock since it seems to create heat and battery drainage.
Hi,
You will need to have an unlocked bootloader, a custom recovery.... Then a custom kernel that supports CPU speed changes, and flash if from recovery.
Everything can be found in your device section, here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/motorola-defy
general has lots of information and guides. Q&A is where to find answers, or post questions. And development section will have roms and kernels that can be flashed.
Good luck!
I already have a custom ROM installed (CM 7.2). but in the cpu settings there is no option for setting the cpu to device default, which is 800 mhz. The only clock speeds I have available are 300,600 and 1000 mhz.
Then you need to ask for help in the rom thread. But it sounds like you answered your own question already. If that's all it lists, I'm sure that's your only options.
