Samsung Keyboard apk

Can someone post the apk for their international version of the Note? I love the fact it has a full dedicated number row but the AT&T version does not have a dedicated number row and I would like to replace it if possible.

Edit: tried it. Force closes all the time you open anything to write. Is there anyway anyone can port it to ics?

I don't think its worth porting over since the official release,/leak is just round the corner .if swype is not your thing try ice keyboard on market Its much better than Samsung keyboard.

Couldn't get it to install over my old one, thanks for the apk though. I'll look up Ice Keyboard.

You wouldnt be able to install it since its a system apk. You will have to replace the apk under system/app using root explorer or similar

Oh yeah, good point. I haven't rooted yet, waiting til there's more features on the AT&T version.

Thats gives a FC error, would be nice to have this keyboard on ICS. I guess we jsut have to wait for the official release.

Ok just a thought.You guys trying to replace the samsung keyboard,are you on a odex or deodex rom?If you are on an odex rom,after replacing keyboard did you delete the odex file of the old keyboard?It is in /system/app and has the same name as the keyboard with type .odex.Did you give to the new keyboard the correct permissions rw-r--r-- and reboot your phone?I am on cm9 ics rom so i can not check it

Thanks, however it seems thats not the issue. It jsut gives a force close once i select it as the input method. What else does the keyboard need? Maybe something to do with touchwiz?

Which ROM you are on ?
IF you are on cm9/cm10/AOKP/PA then you can flash Gapps in Recovery to have it back.

Place it in data/app and reboot. It'll autoinstall. Remember to change the permissions to RW-R-R, which looks like this:

I added the apk to zip and flash the whole.

untar the JB_V05, go to the folder system \ app and put the file talk.apk then compact it all and flash

I tried downloading all the files but none works. It says something about parsing :S Please help!

no need to install it. just use root explorer and place the apk in data/apps and set permissions to rw-r--r--, then check the app drawer screen, there should be an icon for talk. try a reboot as well

hi im using acer liquid e.. i have root my phone and accidently delete talk app.now i cnt update/intstall any apps from google play..i have reboot my phone and all my file manager and other apps deleted.now im helpless..plz any1 can help me..wen i intstall talk.apk its says application canot be installed..

So here it is in flashable zip.
If you don't have custom recovery you can also push things manually to system.
Apps will go to system/app folder and libs to system/lib folder.
Change permissions to -rw-r--r-- and reboot.

So thanks for the post, i've already tried to install apk on me lg d802. but when i try intelligent agent, apk does not instal.
Since i'm a rookie in this kind of things, let me ask, this apk can be installed on a non rooted d802?
So what i mean is, i have my LG d802 on it's custom ROM. can i install the app?

well, it does work, but it's not working great. so it puts in every single message a link to get something, but it get's like words ending, or some words. but when i type a date, like 27 january, it doesn't recognise the date to the calendar. so it's not working properly.. but once again, thanks for the post.

the sound of incomining and outgoing calls are very low to hear in earpiece speaker...
i am struggling in hearing the speech of other..
can anyone help me how to increase the sound in earpiece.....

This is strange.I use the same build (cm11 and thunderzap) when i make it.And now its work without problems on my own kernel.
Im sure that all of the 4.4 roms use the same file,because they all are based on sony source... Try again if you want,other way go back to the original one

Okay thanks, but since i tried to install it from @dack23 thread i can't anymore successfully copy any files :S Tried root browser and root explorer it gives an error no matter what i try to copy now :/ Tried everything till yet, and don't know how to get my backup back :/

Your case is so strange maybe you have root problems and need to reflash the whole rom... but it's easier if you try to root again I guess.

Could this be made a flashable zip?

I guess that It'll only work on stock odexed mate, even in an odexed custom rom you can try it.

I've tried now ES file explorer with root permissions and it says "permissions denied" :/
Anyway i am waiting till someone makes a flashable zip for odexed, @op thanks for the great work and effort

Aww that's sad anyways, I'm trying to make the Gallery works but OMG!! There's so much libraries I need to replace they could mess my phone, I'm a little scared about it.
