Samsung Keyboard apk - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Can someone post the apk for their international version of the Note? I love the fact it has a full dedicated number row but the AT&T version does not have a dedicated number row and I would like to replace it if possible.

Here is the link.
Code:

You wouldnt be able to install it since its a system apk. You will have to replace the apk under system/app using root explorer or similar

Oh yeah, good point. I haven't rooted yet, waiting til there's more features on the AT&T version.

try rooting and replacing samsung keyboard.apk using root explorer

Thats gives a FC error, would be nice to have this keyboard on ICS. I guess we jsut have to wait for the official release.

Ok just a thought. You guys trying to replace the samsung keyboard, are you on a odex or deodex rom?If you are on an odex rom, after replacing keyboard did you delete the odex file of the old keyboard? It is in /system/app and has the same name as the keyboard with type .odex.Did you give to the new keyboard the correct permissions rw-r--r-- and reboot your phone?I am on cm9 ics rom so i can not check it

Thanks, however it seems thats not the issue. It jsut gives a force close once i select it as the input method. What else does the keyboard need? Maybe something to do with touchwiz?

Thanks for sharing

LatinIME.apk | Gingerbread 2.3.4 Keyboard MOD | PlayDark

Hey Guys,
I themed a 2.3.4 Gingerbread keyboard for our x10's. It's modified with some nice sexy dark colours. This MOD is only for Gingerbread ROM's, could maybe work on Froyo/Eclair ROM's but I'm not sure. I never used Gingerbread keyboards on Froyo/Eclair, so I'm not sure of it. PLEASE DON'T REPORT IF IT DOESN'T WORK ON FROYO/ECLAIR. It is made FOR GINGERBREAD/CM7.
If you face any graphical issues, report it in this thread. PM's relating to this Mod will not be replied, report/ask everything here in this thread!
To install the Keyboard, put the LatinIME.apk in system/app and set the right permissions. Don't forget to back-up since this is my first .apk!
50% of the credits for this .apk go to pvyParts. He compiled and signed the .apk properly, since I couldn't do it right. Let's hope it works now!
I haven't tested this Keyboard, so give me results, feedback and eventual pictures of it in action!
Best regards,
PlayGunsta
not a tester but....yes, work on froyo. im using it right now =) i dl it someone in the forum =p
EDIT: cant wait to use it =)

Dont'work it, the file is untouchable:

That's because the filesystem is read-only... I guess you're not able to set "Mount R/W" ... You could try to copy the file using adb:
Code:
adb shell remount rw
adb push voicetalk.apk /system/app
adb chmod 644 /system/app/voicetalk.apk
adb shell remount ro
Or change file explorer and see what happens...
so... you guys say it work.. can we see some screenshots for the n7000 users that are still on GB waiting for ICS to officially come out.. and what functions work and dont work on the S-Voice from SGS3. can you say the silly things like where to hide a body or how much wood can a wood chuck chuck. like you can on the SGS3 and you get the normal responses like you do on the iphone 4s siri. ?? i am just curious.. i enjoy messing on my wifes SGS3 (that we bought near are house in HK)
Yeah, can work after put it into system/app,press install to replace the old file.

tried to rename+copy with root explorer to /system/app = no chance

It may not work on CM
CM9 is completely different framework. Without even testing it, (though you tested already) I am sure and I can say it won't work on CM9 or similar ROMs. More experienced developers can tell you the exact reasons but for now I just can say it should work on all other custom roms other than CM9.

It is same. Actually I have KingDroind 2.0 with S3 addon which does not have SNote app. Few other custom roms also do not have the SNote app which comes with premium stock ICS rom. So this is for all users who didn't get it preinstalled.
This is extracted from the official firmware.
Is this really the premium SUITE? In the video I saw there were other features like charting that I do not see in the S-Memo app.
What is up with that?

Works but Offline Voice Search still doesn't
It's excellent, kudos to the devs working on it.
Typed queries work fine, and the performance is awesome. No double takes, no skewered display. Locations is working too.
However there are still issues, first and foremost is the offline dictation. It is as though as its waiting for more input, so it won't search even after receiving the query through the mic, leaving it in 'braille' and waiting for more.
Can't wait for the problem to be fixed though!

The Google Now file is down.
Could anybody do a reup, please?
Do check
I resolved my problem where the voice program only converts to braille and appears to be waiting for more input. It is because of a bad flash when your system partition has insufficient space to store the libraries and dictation component.
You'll need at least 30MB for the Online version and 60MB if you want offline dictation, which also works if you use Google voice typing.
Clean up your system partition with Root Explorer or Titanium Backup to make space for it. Especially those Live Wallpapers you don't use.
Ensuring you got enough space in system would also probably fix and FCs or other hiccups.
It runs very well on my Galaxy Note ICS 4.0.4 TW with Nova Launcher. Its visibly faster in recognition and the cards appear correctly. Excellent work, developers.

Here's the Homescreen.apk
Push it to system/apps & fix permissions to match with your current homescreen.apk
Also you might want to make a back up first

* this should be ok with stock 4.1.2 (rooted)?
* I copy the original apk "just in case"

I don't think it would work on 4.1.2 since the file is for 4.2.2. Send me your Homescreen.apk and framework-res.apk and I'll give it a shot. I'm just waiting for feedback for the one I did

OK for the Homescreen.apk ; the framework though - sorry, don't see it....
If it doesn't work, a pity, but no issue; I'm using Nova currently and tt'a already quite good (just the circle clock issue...)
