Which galaxy s4 should I get - Galaxy S 4 General

I am undecided on which gs4 to get, Im on tmobile and have three possibilities
1. Gt i9500 ( does this work with tmo h+?)
2. Gt i9505 ( does it work on tmo h+ and will it work with tmo lte?)
3. T-Mobile's variant gs4
I need to decide fast thank you!

Get the T-Mobile version one since it will have all the people radios. It will cause you less headache worrying about aws band and flashing radios etc.

Get the T-Mo. Even if you're in a refarm area, AWS is good to have, and the only non-T-Mo models with a decent chance of having AWS are AT&T and some Canadian equivalents.

[Q] UK Galaxy Nexus Compatible with US Bands?

I was watching some videos of the GN on youtube and saw that AT&T service was on one of them. I was wondering if I bought an unlocked version through eBay if it'd work on T-Mobile bands. Thanks in advance

According to this : http://goo.gl/8qoeo in UK you have 3G on 2100.... in USA you different operators that use different frequencies.
T-Mobile uses the same frequencies so your phone will work, on AT&T will still work but you will not have 3G but GPRS or EDGE. Check out on google the operators and their frequencies and compare them.
It will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile http://www.phonebuff.com/2011/11/uk-galaxy-nexus-work-t-mobile-att/

Any luck on getting sensation to work on Verizon?

I'm thinking about switching to Verizon, and I saw that I could buy a sim card from them. My sensation is unlocked and was wondering if I inserted this sim card, would it work? Anybody tried this yet?

It won't work because VZW uses 700mhz while tmobile only supports 850,1900,1700 and 2100
I believe people have had success with using verizon 4g on AT&T and vice versa. Also, I think people are able to use tmo phones on ATT's lte network since AT&T galaxy note owners are able to use it on tmo's 3g.

There's also the whole CDMA-not-GSM and Sensation-not-LTE issues.

T-Mobile Variant on ATT, Data Speeds

I've seen mixed information about how well TMobs One S will run on AT&T. So I have a couple questions to clarify...
1) I understand that it won't support LTE bands, but is AT&T HSPA+ supported?
2) What's the fastest down speed I could expect on AT&T?
3) Would I have any less coverage area by using the TMob One S on AT&T than the unlocked int'l version?
Thanks a lot!

Right it does not support lte but it does fully support att HSPA.
Theoretical max is 21.1mbps.... I see a average of about 4 and a max of about 9 in the DC area. Which, I might add, is better than my wife's galaxy nexus.
You actually get better coverage with unlocked tmob one s than the unlocked Intl version... the Intl version does not support att hspa bands.

I really appreciate it. I wound up finally finding a good, more recent thread right before you made your reply, but maybe this will help someone else down the road as well. I'm trying to decide between One X and One S on Att so this was a huge help!

What are the options for a small AT&T LTE compatible phone?

I currently have a GSM Galaxy Nexus and an AT&T LTE Note 1 (i717). I love both devices and I'm praying for a LTE nexus this summer. I'm currently messing around with a HTC Droid Incredible (Verizon) and I dig the pocketability. I like the HTC Aria but I want to know if there is something small that's AT&T LTE compatible.
Go with a Samsung Note 2. There are instructions to carrier unlock. I used mine in Vietnam after the unlock.

Can I root / rom a NOTE 5 920P (Sprint) to make it work as a 920V Verizon?

Can I root / rom a Samsung Galaxy NOTE 5 920P (Sprint) to make it work as a 920V Verizon? Is it possible? I know they use a mixture of similar frequencies and technologies. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i believe ud have to unlock it first
as far as i know none of the roms are unlocked
Pretty sure the Sprint variant isn't going to work on Verizon as the radio hardware is different. Best you can hope for is 3g or maybe 1 band of compatible LTE
