Hey there! Here I bring u some files from the system dump of the new Samsung Galaxy S4. Nothing else to say.. Will update the thread regularly with requests of the people and other S4 stuff! If u need any file from the system dump ask me, since it is 1.5Gb...
Wallpapers
Audio files
Fonts
And what I said, if u need whatever, just ask for it.
I am not going to resize anything, this is just a small system dump. If something isn't fitting in your screen I won't fix it
Anybody?

A bit late to the party I would guess... The system dump was released a very long time ago.

Making the CheckROM Particle Ring bootanimation was such an enjoyable and relaxing task, that I ended up making another one this weekend
Sooo... I present to you: The CheckROM Bootanimations!
CheckROM Particle Ring

Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
CheckROM Electric Tunnel - White Flicker edition

Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
CheckROM Electric Tunnel - Black Fade edition

Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
I made these bootanimations for the SGSII, but thought that CheckROM Note users shouldn't feel cheated. The files in this thread is nothing more than upscaled versions, so if it feels a bit blurry on your device, you now know the reason.
How to:
Copy bootanimation.zip to your /system/media directory.

I'm afraid not. Unfortunately, I am not the happy owner of a Note, but if it is anything like the SGSII, you will see a file called shutdown.qmg in /system/media/video/shutdown. But as you can read a bit about here, it is not yet possible to either compile or decompile a .qmg file

There are lots of tuts on the subject if you do a search on the forum... IMHO, this is one of the better: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212555
However, please do a search on your own. You never know what great stuff you might find!

Sorry mate - I have no idea! I have done nothing but adding a logo to an already existing animation. See the first post for links to the original work.
Good luck with your quest!

This post was created by me in other place of the forum, but people don't read it so I repeat it here, so that sl people can help me.
Hey there, as u know I am creating a custom rom based in xxkpu 2.3.6 (CleanKpuRom). The rom was started in TheFrankenstein LiteKpu Rom and I have noticed that it has no wallpapers. I mean, that u press menu button in homescreen, then wallpaper, and the only option is Gallery, and I should also see "wallpapers" option.
I want to give that option in my rom so I decompiled base rom, extracted TwWallpaperChooser.apk, and introduced it into my rom's system app folder. That didn't solve the problem so I opened that apk, and modify some .jpg files in res/drawable-hdpi, compiled again and insterted, but nothing. I have read a lot of threads, but I don't know how to solve it. Thank you everybody
Anybody????
Enviado desde mi GT-I9003 usando Tapatalk
As the option is probably available in stock XXKPU I would suggest that you ask TheFrankenstain what he exactly removed so that you are able to undo it.

Now everything in one single thread!
Transparent background:
I made the backgrounds of most apps, normally black, transparent. Now you can see your wallpaper or even live wallpaper behind the settings, messages etc.
Important: It's possible to just flash the background zip, for example when your using another theme. So you have only the background of your apps transparent.
VNTheme:
I really like the theme of VN rom, but sadly it's only developped for the i9500 version of galaxy s4, so I've extracted the theme of it.
Big THANKS to nguyenxuanhoa for making this awesome theme!
Installation:
1. BACKUP!!!
2. download files and copy them to your SGS4
3. flash I9505_TransparentBackground.zip
4. flash I9505_VNTheme_V*.*.zip
5. reboot
6. enjoy
7. press thanks button =)

Links work. when I click them, I get to the download page..
Edit: Links now working?
Probably not the best idea to choose a download site that only allows one download per hour - especially because there are two files to download...

No kidding, I despise this site. Literally as soon as I see that someone has used it as their mirror, I just say "ah well" and move on.
On this one i was able to get a download started finally (usually it tells me on my first try that I've reached my limit of downloads per hour?? ), all it ended up downloading was an .htm file that was a link back to this download page. Lol
Anyone have any luck with either of these files that wouldn't mind posting a mirror?

Would it be possible for you to theme the dialer/phone as well?

Just copy this 2 folders from zip to system/app/ and make right permission, for folder rwxr-xr-x and for file rw-r--r-- :good:
if u have issue, go to settings/app manager/all/weather and click on clear cache and clear data.
Accuweather with transparency

Unfortunately that link only provided me with a weather app that is not transparant in backround. It has an ugly coloured background. I followed the steps above and deleted any remenance of the stock accuweather app on Android Lolliopop 5.0.1. I guess I'll have to hunt around to a good 3rd party app to get the tranparent background weather app like what you get stock with a lot of ROMs built on Android 6 or 7 based on Cyanogen. (Pity Cyanogen or anyone else building ROMs on their work doesn't have the quality control to make a decent ROM for i9506 that itsn't full of annoying bugs like speaker phone not working or problems playing audio when you connect phone to an AUX cable ect, or I woulda just gone with them!)
AOD customization coming to theme store
You can take a look in new themes update..
I am just sharing the link :- http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsun...-release/themes-5-0-0-0-android-apk-download/
I hope larger icons are considered
