[BOOTANIMATION] CheckROM Bootanimations - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Making the CheckROM Particle Ring bootanimation was such an enjoyable and relaxing task, that I ended up making another one this weekend
Sooo... I present to you: The CheckROM Bootanimations!
CheckROM Particle Ring
Credits: Dysgenic and aph.
Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
CheckROM Electric Tunnel - White Flicker edition
Credits: TheMasterBaron.
Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
CheckROM Electric Tunnel - Black Fade edition
Credits: TheMasterBaron.
Animated preview | bootanimation.zip
I made these bootanimations for the SGSII, but thought that CheckROM Note users shouldn't feel cheated. The files in this thread is nothing more than upscaled versions, so if it feels a bit blurry on your device, you now know the reason.
How to:
Copy bootanimation.zip to your /system/media directory.
Please press the thanks button if you like it.

Thanks for sharing with us. Do you know if it is possible to replace the shutdown animation too?

How I can make particles animations??? a light with particles crossing the screen???

I'm afraid not. Unfortunately, I am not the happy owner of a Note, but if it is anything like the SGSII, you will see a file called shutdown.qmg in /system/media/video/shutdown. But as you can read a bit about here, it is not yet possible to either compile or decompile a .qmg file

There are lots of tuts on the subject if you do a search on the forum... IMHO, this is one of the better: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212555
However, please do a search on your own. You never know what great stuff you might find!

Sorry mate - I have no idea! I have done nothing but adding a logo to an already existing animation. See the first post for links to the original work.
Good luck with your quest!

I hate the overcome theme, I think it's ugly. But I like the rom, it's fast. So you are not alone, I also like th original theme. Sometimes simpler is better
There is a stock theme patch on the overcome website, I didn't try it yet, maybe you can give it a go.

I have this for you, i am busy to make it complete but did not have the time to finish it up yet, but you could you use what i have now.
You would need to use root explorer to replace them in (systemUI.apk) system/apps and (framework-res.apk) system/framework and set the permissions as the original ones.
This only works on the jupiter rom from Overcome Team
The images i have from zenkinz (thanks) theme.

It is not stretched. It is the perfect resolution for it. The reason why you think it looks like it is stretched is the Wallpaper Scrolling tweak.

Using the Google Pixel bootanim myself. Nice black background, nice dancing colored dots, way better than this one, imho. But, of course, YMMV! :good:
Looks like quite easy to make the background black. But it takes some time... Not into that at the moment. But thanks for posting!
I modified this beautiful bootanimation making the black background. I hope I have done something pleasing to everyone.

I copied the bootanimation.zip to my media folder and now I have no splash screen at all. It's just a generic "andriod" logo with a moving gradient. Trying to replace bootanimation.zip with the original file doesn't fix things. Anyone know a way to get the splash screen, any splash screen to come back?

Check the bootanimation.zip files permissions. Make sure they are: ( rw- r-- r-- ).
Pro Tip:
If you want to run this (or any other boot animation) systemless you can do so via Magisk:
* Using Magisk Manager download the "WatchDogs for OnePlus 5" module, activate and reboot
* Copy the "bootanimation.zip" file you want to use to '/magisk/WatchDogs-bootanimation-OP5/system/media/'
* Reboot
* Profit
NB: rename the existing bootanimation.zip in '/magisk/WatchDogs-bootanimation-OP5/system/media/' if you want to save that for later use.
Disable the module in Magisk to revert to the factory animation.
Thanks to the creator for a good animation!
NB 2: If you're running unencrypted you don't need Magisk, just put your desired boot animation zip in '/data/local/' to use it.
Boot animation has been added to MidnightCore in Magisk manager, for easily, systemless changes of bootanimations among other things.

I believe you have to use a terminal editor for midnight core.
I was getting irritated that this boot animation didn't align properly to my 5T, so I modded it to run at 1080x2160 and align properly with the 5t's default logo. I also cleaned it up slightly, as nagato's still had a little bit of grey visible and I'm far too much of a perfectionist for my own good.
To install, place bootanimation.zip in /system/media and ensure that permissions are -rw-r--r--.
