Just copy this 2 folders from zip to system/app/ and make right permission, for folder rwxr-xr-x and for file rw-r--r-- :good:
if u have issue, go to settings/app manager/all/weather and click on clear cache and clear data.

Unfortunately that link only provided me with a weather app that is not transparant in backround. It has an ugly coloured background. I followed the steps above and deleted any remenance of the stock accuweather app on Android Lolliopop 5.0.1. I guess I'll have to hunt around to a good 3rd party app to get the tranparent background weather app like what you get stock with a lot of ROMs built on Android 6 or 7 based on Cyanogen. (Pity Cyanogen or anyone else building ROMs on their work doesn't have the quality control to make a decent ROM for i9506 that itsn't full of annoying bugs like speaker phone not working or problems playing audio when you connect phone to an AUX cable ect, or I woulda just gone with them!)

Same here, if you tap a message it is still not transparent. Maybe because this is made for S3 and not for Note. I haven't read all the replies from the thread so not sure what else is missing from v1. I only read the first post.

Didn't sfinder work if you push it in system app ? My sfinder with build prop hack is working

Working just nice on 9500 odexed. If u need to odex ur rom just install lucky patcher and it has an auto odex option.

here had also gotten the black screen, but then I made up the original apk and odex system ui. then I kept the original odex system ui and so changed the apk. this worked here
For those who want the notifications with the same background color as the panel just install Wanam Xposed and put this color on notification background

I'm on i337m and ir works. You just need to get back to your build.prop original values if you don't want to get issues.
Issues like overlapped multiwindow icons on all the toggles. I reverted back my build.prop to its originals and it worked.

On s5 the notification background is not black. It is the same color as the panel.

I decompiled your SystemUI. Can you tell me if you now what is exactly the xml I need to edit to make the S-Finder button Launch S-Finder app?
And I want to know If you can set the "Quick Connect" button to launch the program you want :3 Only I could do was changing the names in "values" folder. LOL!

We need to find the XML with the summon app command and set a new one to get the S-Finder launch when you press the button. But I can't find it... all the XML's are driving me crazy D:

I found the apks here in the forum,the stock ones from the Galaxy S5 but ported to work on the S4 TW Roms, the accuweatherphone2014.apk and weatherdaemon2014.apk. For my surprise,just putting them into system app and giving the right permissions and rebooting made them work and the widget appears on the Google Launcher,and works fine,but with one problem. When you tap it and the accuweather app opens, very nice design btw, if you select settings it FCs... Any idea on how to make it work?

Ok, found a workaround in case anyone is interested, but needs to have a Galaxy S4. In my case I have one with the GPEdition Rom and everything posted in this Nexus 5 forum works. What I did was to flash a TW ROM, replaced the apks with the S5 ones, set the update frequency and transparency I wanted for the widget, made a backup with Titanium, restored the GPEdition ROM and restored apps and data, and now works perfectly.
This is SystemUI mods for Ale95 ROM and works on v1 and v2.
To install, download any of these files you wish.
Blue background with rounded corners for notifications + recents
Blue background without rounded corners
White background with rounded corners
White background without rounded corners

Make sure you have a backup first!
Rename the downloaded file to SystemUI.apk and use SOLID EXPLORER(*) to push to system/priv-app/SystemUI and set correct permissions (rw-r-r)
Restart and done!
(*) Solid explorer is highly recommended because it retains the permission upon file replace. If you use any other explorer such as ES you may face continuous FC because the permission is not set.
NOTE: This may also work with other devices and/or other ROMs.
Works on Note3 Aurora but you will lose Aurora Settings functionality.

Just tested and it works perfectly fine.
Please use solid Explorer to push that to system because it retains the permissions when you push it to system. With other explorers, you don't have the tike to do it manually as the file is already replaced and changed.

These files are from Ale95 ROM for i9500 but I don't see why it wouldn't work on your ROM.

Can it be because it's an S6 based Note 5 port? (The System-UI installs without problem after reboot, but I have FC always) Can it be related to Wanam Xposed or something like that? Or I have to clear cache?

I don't think so, because I once downloaded astra rom and used some files of it in ale95 rom for 9500, including systemui..
I will make it a flashable one and flash that one, and tell me if it works. The thing is, several people in the past reported bugs with flashable systemui... Ill first try myself, then share. So please wait some time cause ill first need to backup
