[Q] tried to flash hyperdrive r11 and now I cannot connect to network - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I tried to flash from Hyperdrive r10 to Hyperdrive r11 and when I was finally able to flash and when it booted up was not able to conect to network. I have a crossed circle where the 3g and 4g should be. I have lost my IMEI number in settings as well as mobile network state shows disconnected. I flashed back and still the same. Is there anyone out there with any ideas. Thanks

Have you tried rebooting? I have had this happen with other roms, sometimes I've had to reboot a few times before it connected.

yes I tried rebooting
Yeah I tried rebooting, removing battery and waiting for a couple hrs. Nothing comes up. Also flashed the most current modem to see if that would do it but nothing has changed.

My phone reboots once connected to wifi network

My phone reboots everytime it connected to wifi network.
I have no ideas why can this happens since i don't have any new software/system installed before this. Before this it was so smooth but this happened out of sudden.
Currently i m using cursorsense rom and i did wipe and restore to earlier cursorsense rom backup but my phone still reboots when connected to wifi network.
Anyone experienced this?

I did experience this with cursorsense rom but only when the wifi network was open, if it had encryption it would be fine.
Very annoying at the airports as they aren't encrypted haha
My phone was fine to connect wifi last few day. I dunno how it cured itself, weird enough.
But today my phone reboots again when connected to wifi network
Can someone help me out?
Is it related to cursorsense rom?

Restart boot loop error

Verizon Galaxy S3
SCH-I535
I535VRBMF1
4.1.2
It's rooted. Previously have run some custom roms, but I've gone back to stock since then.
Problem: Phone randomly restarts. It seems like it's only ever does it when it's plugged in and charging. Still, it happens just once every few days, and I can't recognize the pattern. It loads "Android is upgrading, starting apps." It vibrates for a nanosecond, and freezes, then restarts, and loops from there.
I don't know what to do, and fresh starts, factory resets, wiped caches, etc...do nothing
Thanks for anything guys. It's becoming quite annoying to change my settings and to rely on titanium backup every night to make sure that apps and data are there if something happe

If you're completely stock, it leads me to think it may be hardware related.
I would try to odin a stock image again and see if that fixes the issue, just in case something bad happened during the flash, if that still doesn't fix the issue, send it into samsung and see if they'll replace your phone.

Stuck at "Samsung Galaxy SII" boot screen.

My phone was working just fine before I went to bed. I woke up this morning an my phone was stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy SIII" boot screen. I can't seem to get my phone back to a working state Here's what I've done so far:
I rebooted my device - didn't work.
I rebooted into recovery, wiped everything and installed clean rom 7 - no luck.
I've tried to ODIN back to stock and ODIN freezes immediately after it starts (for periods > 30 mins).
I've tried ODIN with two different USB cables.
Any idea on how I can get my phone back to a working state?
I am seeing the product name in download mode, so I don't suspect the "sudden death syndrome" that I've read about with the S3.

When you flash a new rom in recovery, what exactly happens? Does it completely finish, and when you reboot it gets stuck at the boot screen? Also have you tried restoring a backup?
You might have a bad rom download, but that doesn't explain why odin keeps failing. Try to do a factory reset without flashing anything and see if it'll boot up.

When installing the rom, it completes and reboots like normal. I've tried three different roms (and they've worked in the past) with no luck, so I don' think I have a bad download. Restoring a backup fails every time - I have multiple backups.
I've also done the factory reset - no go.

I'm pretty sure this is your problem.

This should fix everything. It sounds like a data writing issue.

[Q] Wifi says connected, but data/internet stops transferring after a minute or two

My headphone jack was messed up so Verizon sent me a new phone. I backed up my old phone (running CM nightlies) via cwm nandroid on my external sd and restored it on the new phone. Everything seems to be working except wifi stops working after one to five minutes, usually closer to one. The phone says connected, but data transfer stops after a couple minutes. I downloaded and flashed the latest CM nightly but the problem persisted. Then I unrooted/flashed stock via odin/locked bootloader, but the problem persisted. Currently I'm back on my restored nandroid.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
what radio firmware were you running before the new phone? Is it the same? Try resotring to stock and not loading your backup items, just connect to the wifi manually and see if it works better.
I was running the latest radios. That's what I did, I flashed stock (VRBMF1) via odin, did the initial first time setup and connected to wifi. After a couple minutes everything began hanging again.
I flashed the radios again, but no luck.

Have you tried to connect to another network? It could be a network instead of a phone problem.

Constant reboots and corrupted recovery

I have following problems with my Nexus 5 16 GB (unlocked, not rooted and everything stock)
1. It keeps rebooting occasionally (more often than I would count as normal) without any apparent reason.
2. Whenever I receive OTA update it fails to complete showing "Error" on while updating.
3. Tried factory resetting several times to no avail all symptoms remain the same.
4. Could not go to recovery mode. It shows a red triangle with exclamation mark.
5. Flashed stock images from Google.
6. Worked fine for few days (seldom reboots, though) and could go to recovery mode.
7. Now recovery is again corrupted. Cannot go to recovery mode and it keeps rebooting every now and then.
I don't know if it is a hardware problem or software. I need to sell this phone but want to be fair so need to exactly what is the problem and what could be a possible solution to perspective buyer.
Thanks for long post. Any help is much appreciated.

You only have one issue here which is rebooting. If you flashed stock without restoring data /installing apps and it still reboots, send it for repair.

Yes I flashed everything stock (without keep any data/apps) and it still reboots. Initially I checked by entering into recovery mode and all was OK but now a red triangle. So it is a hardware problem
Thanks for your quick reply
Stock recovery always has that symbol

got the same problem since 4.4.3 came out, even got a replacement phone that does the same.. symptom a soft reboot, occasionally hard, every one or two days.
running 4.4 or 4.4.1/2 the problem disappears
only thing i found that helps is turning location on and having mobile settings to allow 3g.. i can go for up to a week like this before a reboot.. my personal settings of 2g only and location off makes it worse for some unknown reason.
