viper xl 3.2.7 bluetooth disconnecting when phone sleeps
About 5 minutes after my screen turns off/sleeps, my Bluetooth turns off. As soon as I wake the phone, it re-connects. I had the same problem with Bulletproof 1.3 and Elemental 6.5. I reflashed the kernels a couple of times, and the Rom as well. I did a complete wipe before flashing. I have used Viper in the past, but never encountered this problem. I have been on ICS till now, but was lured back to JB now that the mass storage mess has finally been conquered. Any suggestions on how to fix the Bluetooth?

Try this. Menu, settings, display. Is there a check-box for auto-rotation?

I haven't had Sense in a while, but look for G-Sensor calibration in settings and do it. Reboot afterward.

Sometimes it just may need a restart to fix the auto-rotation. Reboot should fix it.
Sounds like you have a broken accelometer or its on its way going out. I had same problem g sensor won't calibrated at all now says abort everytime restarts do nothing.
I can't do anything that requires accelometer/g sensor and sounds like you have same problem.
Sorry man .
Reset your phone to default settings there's a great download in inspire development that will revert everything for you the call HTC and they will fix it for free as long as you restore everything to stock froyo or gb ruu. And you havnt tampered with anything etc etc .

Hi, I have a problem. I like to watch videos and read e-books on my sensation, but the soft key backlight always stays on even though i don't touch it. Is there a mod or a way to turn off the key backlights after a certain time ? btw I'm on Virtuous Inquisition ROM with stock kernel. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Evans.

I think you would have to flash another ROM to have that feature. I know that ARHD with Leedroid Tweaks will let you disable the button backlight, the new ViperS rom lets you disable the lights as well. Im not sure about Virtuous Inq, never used it
You can try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295537
I've personally not tested this so backup first.
Cheers.
OK, I've just tested it, and it works well on AOKP (M6).
The user comments in the above thread seem to be positive enough, so you should be fine.
You can easily add shortcuts on your home screen for easy access to the on/off functionality. (As pictured in the thread also.)
Regards.

Every once in awhile I'll notice my Sensey's soft keys are lit up and I can't do anything on the phone. pressing the lock/wake button does nothing and I need to do a battery pull to get into my phone again. Holding the lock/wake key doesn't even reboot at all.
Is this a firmware or kernel problem? Any fixes?
(I realize that I worded that terribly, my apologies.)

It could be a software issue, I say this because this has happened to me on different roms, then when I flashed a different Rom the issue was solved. I'm not sure other than flashing a different Rom, how to remedy the situation. In my case this is how I fixed it when that happened to me. You might want to post this on the Rom developers site and see if others are experiencing the same issue. Perhaps they might have a fix if it's a known problem. I wish you the best ! Hopefully you can remedy this situation easily. I'm fairly certain flashing a different Rom will cure the issue. At least it did in my situation. Good luck and I hope this helped.

Um...I'm sure you're new to this.
The bug aren't fully fixed yet. Reboots and hangs are obviously expected.
Nothing wrong with Kernel cuz there's no jellybean kernel for us YET.
So the ROMs are still buggy.
I suggest you wait a week or 2 for all bug fixes.
Meanwhile, try a Sense ROM or an ICS aosp based ROM. :sly:

Alright, fair enough.
I wouldn't consider myself new to this at all. I've had my sensation since September last year and I've done my fair share of flashing and helping others out. I just thought I'd ask because I didn't see it discussed anywhere and thought I was the only one having this particular issue. I searched the ROM thread and found nothing and I searched this Q&A forum and didn't find anything so I thought I'd ask. Is that so wrong?

I had the same problem. Fixed it by turning off system sounds in the settings option. Just turn all the sounds off and you should bee good to go

Cm10 is a beta work in progress. This is a known bug, not something you are doing wrong.
Be patient as the rom continues to develop.

Please, if somebody have some answer please tell us.
Thanks

+1. The more info you provide the more help you'll get. If you're using elemental you're automatically undervolted - 25 so going any lower may result in some instability. Also I found with sweep2wake I would get an unresponsive screen approximately 1 out of 10 unlocks so I disabled it. Smooth sailing since.
I had those problems with kernel mods under volting cause death sleep.

So has anybody found the solution? I am also experiencing this problem on my ZTE Grand x IN. When I enable 'Keep WiFi on during sleep', when I press power button, I am not able to unlock the phone since the display does not respond. It takes some time (
less than minute), and after that it is ok. Also, I cannot answer the call sometimes. When I turn off the option that I mention previously, the problem is gone, but my whatsapp, facebook, yMail and etc... does not receive data!!

So I tried the Moonraker Rom yesterday, was awesome IMO. I just had one issue, when I would reboot my phone it would register my battery as dead and shut off before reaching the UI. But if I plugged it in, turned it on, then unplugged it it would read the correct percentage and stay that way until reboot. Is there a fix for this floating around? Kinda reminds me of the depressing "iOS x.x.xx tethered jb" days lol. Thanks in advance

Yes, no, maybe so? I'm currently using "dr no v3.0" and its great. Smooth, reliable, fast. But I would really like to experiment with the moonraker rom, just don't want to deal with the battery issue, am I the only one having it?

Pretty sure it was a log issue. I cleared battery logs with a recalibrator and it didn't happen anymore.
