First off, you're posting in the wrong forum as you have an international HTC one X and this is the forum for the dual core one xl.
Second, multitouch has to do with the hardware and touchscreen firmware. So long as both the hardware and the touchscreen firmware support it, it will be active.

Why you would want to use the on screen buttons with the Nexus S? If you do this, than what are you doing with the real buttons on the bottom of the phone? Isn't that just wasting more screen real estate by using the on screen buttons?

What's the current problem? Setting BLN to 0 turns my cap buttons off (effectively) permanently while using the phone.

Manually through sysfs or NSTools (same thing). You may need NSTools or an init.d script to do it each boot though.
I used nstools but with nstools everytime I turn off the screen and turn it back on the touch keys would light up still and I have to touch them again to turn of the light I want them to stay off

I just tried myself using the latest stable Trinity 1320 and with timeout set to 0 and bln on the buttons stay off even after switching the screen on and off multiple times. Unsure what's going on there. What kernel and version are you using?
I was trying it on the maxr1x 19.5 I haven't tryed on v20.0?

Weird screen bug after unlocking?

So I've noticed this strange bug ever since I've had the phone. Sometimes after turning the screen on, my screen won't register touch input properly - ill try to do my pattern unlock and it'll just jitter around and not work. After turning the screen off and on again its fixed. Anyone else have the same problem? It's happened on stock and every other rom I've used.

Sounds like a hardware issue.
Please post questions in the q&a section

Never had the home screen bug happen even once on my device... Its a bit irritating but not that bad. It never happens after the screen has been on, only right when you turn it on
Ah oke. We better pray for the jelly bean update then! Haha

By sub I mean an option inside a main option in settings... I know if you go to the message app like your going to send a text and hit the menu it will also bring up message settings too... It has been a long time since I've been on sense but I'm sure I saw that option somewhere.. Sorry for being so vague...
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
No worries.
Yeah looks like the only setting is to show message on lock screen, but nothing to actually turn screen on when it arrives. I really only want this because I always have my phone on silent. When playing Xbox with headphones I miss everything but I guess that's a good thing lol.
Anyways thanks for the help

I don't ever remember hearing about that option built into a rom--
But, as Google is your proverbial friend--maybe this--it is for text messages, maybe something else available for more notifications--

I use this app, simple and does exactly what it says it does. Turns on your screen when you get a text, nothing more nothing less.
I bought the pro version, there is also a free version that does the same thing.
There used to be an stock option in sense, I'm not sure what version they took it out in.
