If Yes Then Please Let Us Know !!

But thanks to CWM & Stock ROMs !

I hard bricked my SAMSUNG galaxy s2 T989 flashing a rom. Called t-Mobile told them it died when I tried to update with Kies and they sent me a new one. Soft bricked it multiple times if I had to guess I'd say about five times also testing themes i made for twrp I got suck a recovery boot loop (just showed the twrp curtain over and over). Luckaly for me I was able to put it in download mode and flash twrp again with Odin. Did that three times.

Not once or twice four times , i have bricked the mobile...!
Its non other than katbonn A1...

Bricked my Galaxy Y while i tried to flash a sound mod. Flashed it back to stock rom with odin and it worked like a charm again!

Is it really "bricking" if you can fix it? I'm pretty sure bricked = forever. That's why it's called "bricked."

LOL

To render your computer useless, as useless as a brick.
Usually the result of tampering with the insides and doing irreversible damage. Bricking your hardware leaves you with a new paperweight. Can be the end effect of a faulty flash or firmware update, a modification (mod) gone bad or being struck by lighting, to name a few.

Bricked does mean forever dead. There is no such thing as a soft brick...that is a boot loop.

of course, YES

I have owned a Motorola Droid 1, 2, and 3 and I have yet to brick any of them.

[Q] Help/Advice

I need help/advice. I recently tried to update my Samsung Infuse to gingerbread and bricked it. AT&T reinstalled the original software and said I should try again. It bricked again. AT&T then gave me a new Infuse, but with the old software. I tried again to update and it bricked also. Then AT&T gave me a new Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
I'd love to root this phone like I did with the infuse, but I'm really reluctant to try anything after the above experience! If I try to root, how much risk of bricking am I taking? Are there ways to recover if I brick it short of going back to AT&T? What's the best method to use to root?
Thanx in advance for the advice/help!!

If it's a hard brick the only option other than att is mobiletechvideos jtag service. Read the stickies and search the forum before posting new threads. This should get you started.

If it were me, I would flash the ucld2 Odin one click.exe first. It is very stable and smooth. Then root that baby. There's always gonna be a risk of bricking. I've even has stock phones that seemed to brick outta no where. If you stay in the skyrocket section and only flash zips for our device, the risk of bricking is minimal, but there's always that possibility. Good luck too ya

[Q] Phone automatically restarting...

hi!
my galaxy sl automatically restarts every about 5mins-1hr. im having these problems since last week. i researched a bit and i learned that it might be the motherboard but i think this i just because of my firmware because i dont experience any bootloops :fingers-crossed: but still, im still worried about my phone's motherboard. the sadder thing is, i bought this phone last year of april so, my warranty is not acceptable anymore! i dont wanna pay extra $$$ for a repair since this is already a common problem of 4GB vers. of Galaxy SL.
is there anything i can do to fix this? thanks!

It is not a common issue, if you are not having a reset (losing contacts), just reflash stock firmware with ODIN.

Help About ROM Pure S4

Hi brother. I would like to flash my phone to install S4 Pure Style.
I have a Galaxy SIII.
Model : GT-I9300
Official JB 4.1.2
Baseband : I9300XXEMA5
Kernel version : 3.0.31-1160235
Version number : JZ054K.I9300XXEMD3
SuperSu v1.34
CWM Manager v3.60
I wonder if there is no risk that I brick my phone
There is always a risk when flashing anything to your phone. Also beware that by unlocking + rooting your phone, you most probably have already voided your warranty, so if it does indeed get bricked, Samsung cannot help you.
That said, if you read everything before you flash, and are careful and use the search tool, you most likely will be successful in flashing whatever you want to your phone. All it takes is a little patience and knowledge.

[Completed] [Q] T-Mobile S3 sgh-t999 Bricked

So I have an old t-mobile s3 and it was in great condition. Few days ago I decided to root it (I've never rooted or done things like that before) and I used something called king root app and it rooted my phone. I was able to flash cm 11 to update my phone to 4.4.4 on it and the phone was working smoothly. Then a few minutes later I felt like I got the hang of customizing my phone and tried to flash a rom called glamour s5 costum rom (it's designed for the s3). I went to cwm recovery mode and flashed the rom. Then when I tried to reboot it, it completely went black and wouldn't turn on again.
I tried to get it to download mode and recovery mode but it still won't work. I also tried using a debrick image. I not sure if I used the right one though because I used a 4.3 debrick image and my s3 is 4.4.4. after I updated it with the cm 11 rom.
Can someone please give me some advice on how to fix this, I'm freaked out that I might have totally ruined my phone! I ordered a usb jig because I saw on YouTube that a guy fixed his hard bricked s3 with the jig. I hope it works. But does anyone know any other way I can fix my phone and can someone tell me what I might have done wrong and if the usb jig might work in my situation.
Thanks
Hi there,
Please see this thread where is discussed about your problem: Hard? Soft? brick galaxy s3 t999
And this one: [GUIDE] Restore Bootloader Bricked S3 to Stock Firmware AFTER 4.3 update. No Jtag
You can ask there if you have other questions related or directly in this forum for other: T-Mobile Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck
Wait, I have a question about the link. For the second link, does bootloader brick mean soft brick. Because I think mine is a hard brick, so will the method the first guy said possibly work.
BTW thanks for helping me out. It been like a week and no one replied.
