[Q] OTG makes Xoom touch screen not work!?

Hi~
I connect a OTG cable(without connecting to other devices) to my Xoom, and the touch screen almost not work! It becomes very slow!
But I can connect a USB mouse to the OTG, and control the Xoom smoothly, although the touch screen is still now work.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks!
Is it Motorola or some generic?

my cheap usb OTG from ebay works fine with my xoom ( both stock or mantaray/hammerhead rom)
I would try a different OTG adaptor. I have never heard of this behavior before.

[Q] Samsung tablet using a USB Thumb Flash Drive

I would like to use USB Thumb-Flash Drives like they are doing with the Nexus 7 with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. It is the GT-P3113 using recent CM10 - Android 4.1.1. I have tried the USB connector as noted below to connect the tablet and with its OEM cord to a USB drive and does not work or recognize it. I have used other drives and have tried using Stickmount app. I have tried to search for specific info, found some post that the idea is possible but can't find any details how. I have seen a possible connector USB OTG but don't know the difference. Any details as to how would be much appreciated thanks.

You need a USB OTG cable (the gender changer may work, but im not sure it will enable host mode, the otg cable definitely does). You can get them for two pounds / dollars on ebay. I am using mine with a 32gb usb stick.

usb OTG ??? do i have to throw my nexus s

hi every body
i will be very thankful if anybody can help me
today i get a usb OTG cable and i was very excited to try on my nexus s but i was very disappointed that even if i have a custom kernel that supports usb OTG i have to support externel power supply along with the cable which make all the process of > on the go < .. absolute not on the go ..
later when searching i found a video for nexus 4 i guess having usb with really on the go mode i.e. without 20 meters of cable extended along the room to the wall..
is there a way to make this work on the nexus s .?

It didn't work that way unfortunately, I heard about some kernel modifications to allow USB Host controllers .. I'm now installing CM 10.1 hoping I can get my keyboard and mouse working

just an ordinary USB mouse, I tried it on my friend's Note 10.1 (N8000 with ICS 4.0.4) and it worked ! so can this be just a compatibility issue with my tab, or our GalaxyTab 2 or JellyBean doesn't support mouse at all ??
Very odd, I used a
Basic Logitech, Microsoft and an ibm mouse wired usb and all Work fine.
Are you using the original usb adapter?
I also have the ps3 controller WIRED working on stock no root 4.1.2 tab 2 10.1

I tried my OTG cable as well with Note 10.1, it works fine, I think it's not the problem ..
I can connect many peripherals as keyboard and flash memories (even a USB Modem), but for mice I couldn't .. I'll try another mouse just in case if the current mouse isn't compatible enough to work with the tab ..
and btw, did you need any additional apps to connect your PS3 controller?
No additional apps needed, remember I use a wireless ps3 but plugged in always.
Currently playing shadowgun deadzone and max Payne .
and starcraft with a mouse
