Have you tried any other games? N64oid is still very new and conkers bad fur day was the most advanced n64 game made. Generally it's last to be supported. I'll try it on my play to test this theory, as I'm curious.
Edit: Yep, I'm getting the same thing. You'll just have to wait till an updated version with better compatibility comes out.
As an update,
working:
mariokart 64
zelda ocarina of time
mario party 3
sf rush 2
mario 64 (duh)
Smash bros (although no one has faces)
wave race 64
Not working:
Conquers bad fur day
Hmmm, only one so far..lots more games to try though
My list:
Working:
Mario Kart
Mario 64
Smash Bros
WWF No Mercy (character select messed up a little)
Wave Race (slowish).
ISS 2000
F-Zero
Zelda OOT
Lylat Wars (slow)
Not Working:
Excitebike 64 (no load)
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (no load)
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (messed up graphics, unplayable).
Paper Mario (no load)
Pilotwings (messed up graphics, unplayable).
ps. Haven't played ANY of the above game complete yet so game breaking bugs might be present.
Yeah I tried goldeneye... No cigar

It's now on the slideme market: http://slideme.org/application/n64oid
Saying paper mario should work next version.
You can add mario golf to the not working games.

just keep an eye on threads like this, when a new version comes out im sure people will be talking about it
Cruisin' USA sort of works, it's very choppy even with the frame skip set to Max (10). Also some graphics are garbled.
Checking in on Smash Bros also, works great but no faces. Some slow down and audio loss occasionally.

As a general rule of thumb, a machine needs to be 3 times more powerful to be able to emulate properly.
The Xperia Play can emulate the N64 flawlessly. But it takes time and can be a little tricky to program.
Developers generally work for free in their spare time. If you want to donate to them to help them pay for their time and get the emulator working better, quicker, then feel free to donate to them.

Hard to tell. Theoretically yes imo. But would be so much work to get it optimised. Will never happen.

Emulating on a device only three times as powerfull requires a lot of optimised code that will take a long time (It took quite some time before snes was even decently running on pc's, and a lot more coding is done for pc then the xperia play).
Non-perfect (not all games working, some a bit choppy etc.) PS2 emulation on phones will probably come when ps1 and n64 emulators work nearly as flawless on any mobile phone of that time as snes runs now on nearly all (smart)phones.
Personally I think it will take 3-4 years (xperia play 3 probably).
Some more I tried today:
International Track & Field - DOESN'T WORK.
Mystical Ninja - TOO SLOW.
Paperboy - CRASHES.
Omg i want conkers bad fur day to work sooo bad! want to play some Cavemen vs Rapters!! hehe i find the emulator runs a little slow sometimes...especially for Zelda OOT...any suggestions? or is there a newer/faster emulator out yet?
Doom 64 no go =/ loads just fine but right when u start the game u start inside the ground so u cant move or anything
Shame that every game that works with N64oid plays very smooth on the DX2 and gTablet, but control like drunken sailors (some okay ok).
Most games play slow mo on the Play, but the few that are smooth like Mario Kart and Mario Brothers play sweet.
Ironic.
Wrong rule of thumb
Its not 3x the power of the original system.
Its 12x to emulate is perfectly.
Just go look at the Gamecube emulator thread

warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Arkham asylum/city, unreal tournament 3, plus theres this list: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Multiformat/OnLive+Player/feature.asp?c=35921
Dirt3 works (on auto anyway, not tried manual).
Saints row 3
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
Alien vs Predator (from Sega) works grea with pad buttons and analogs
mx vs atv reflex works well and just cause 2 does but the volume buttons are used for grapple which can be a bit awkward
Assassins creed brotherhood (I'd expect revelations works too), deus ex & saints row
Now this is where Sony should have always pushed the xperia play - all my mates are jealous now!
EDIT: Arkham city works great too
Updated 24 december
I am getting very jalouse too becouse i can not acces onlive in my ****ry... does someone now a way to pass it? And how expensive is for example AC Brotherhood? And how can you pay them?
Merry Christmas mates
You can use a Virtual Private Network
Saints Row 2 works although I get a mouse loading cursor in the middle of the screen the whole time but it's not too distracting
You've missed deus ex from the list - amazing how well these work with a phone!

Assassin's Creed Revelations works except Eagle Sense which requires you to press in the left analog stick (Only needed for some missions)

You can use a VPN service like Strong VPN to register. Once it is activated, you don't need the VPN, although you need the VPN to buy games/register a credit card. Oddly, it took my non-us credit card when I put my dad's US address as the billing address. Doesn't seem to use address verification. I was able to buy Super Street Fighter IV: AE with my "foreign" non-us card and I got the playpack promo for 30 days free form gamespot. With the playpack 30% discount, AC Brotherhood was $20.99

Can't tell you how excited I was when I heard about this.
Full, new, retail games on my beloved Xperia Play.
Firstly, even on my less than perfect internet connection, the games appear to be work perfect. As far as I can see, there is no noticable button lag at all. That is great!
However, having had a good play of a fair few games though, there are a few problems.
Now these are to be expected, but I didn't really think about them when I head the inital annoucement.
- In a lot of the games the text is a little small to read.
- Controls are a major problem. There simply isn't enough buttons.
- Controls again, a lot of the games don't allow customisation, meaning some functions are inaccessible, and thus, the game unplayable.
- The touch pads are a very poor substitute for an anolog stick. Some games are ok, but most are impossible to control accurately. In fact, I'd rather use the DPAD than the touchpads, though this is an option denied to us in most games.
- All of the above could be solved to a satifactory level by allowing full customisation of controls.
- The onlive app is brilliant, but the text could be somewhat crisper. Looks kind of blurred.
Overall, the games that do work well with the controls work amazingly. Street Fighter for example is great. It is such an amazing thing to be playing these games on a mobile phone. The fact that most games are accompanied by a free trial is definitely something OnLive should be applauded for as it allows us to see what works and what doesn't. I can definitely see myself spending some money in the future!
I downloaded the FPse emulator onto my droid from my linux box(free). I am looking for a good FF7 iso. I cannot find one. NOT ONE. I have searched high and low and every iso i have downloaded either produced a fatal error when i unpacked or just didnt work. Anyone know of a place to get an actual working final fantasy 7 iso?

You must get the FPse bios as well.
yeah im looking for a downloadable iso, img, bin file for my android emulator. Not an actualy game.

and OP you are nuts, 9 was SUCH a good game... 8 has always been the bastard child of the final fantasy series... the gunblade? really? the soundtrack in 9 alone makes it a better game than 8 lol
if you can find your copy, its really easy to make your own image of it. Only take a few minutes with imgburn.

I actually feel the complete opposite. I did not really like 9 and thought 8 was better! I thought the gun blade was cool! To each his own tho. 10 was actually really cool!! NOW WHAT WOULD BE SUPER FREAKING AWESOME WOULD BE IF FINAL FANTASY 7 WAS REMADE FOR PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same story, same characters, same everything, just really awesome graphics!!

10 was an absolutely sexy game even though I was not much for the battles... turn order making things predictable for the next 20 turns is no fun to me... luckily the storyline more than made up for for that

Yes its in English and seems to be voice acted by teens. But its fun and exciting.
I played the ORIGINAL Silpheed on the PC circa 1987, by Game Arts. THat was a happy childhood, then Wing Commander came out and the rest is history.
I do have the Silpheed for the PS2 that launched with the system.

The Sega CD version was actually pretty good, the Xbox version was terrible...... there is a reason its $3 at my local GameStop. I took an old usb floppy drive and copied the files to an sdcard and then play it using DosBox on my PC, for Wing Commander I bought the Wing Commander Kilrathi saga for $15 back in 1996 at a local PC store...... still got it mint.. I am actually thinking of selling a massive WC collection on Ebay, here is what it will include:
Wing Commander (Original box with all included poster, books etc. 1990)
Wing Commander Kilrathi Saga (WC1+ Secret Missions, WC2+SM, WC3, All
working on Windows)
Wing Commander 4 + missions
Wing Commander Prophecy Gold
Wing Commander Armada
Wing Commander Academy
I know I was an addict of WC.. I even have it on my SNES and the 3DO versions of WC1 remastered and WC3... plus the crappy PS1 versions of WC3,WC4... dont know why the 3DO versions are so much better then the PS1...anyway NOW BACK TO THE THREAD.... sorry to thread jump....back now!

Hey I know the feeling, I used to own EVERY WC game and add on, as original (mostly on floppies except for III, IV, and Prophecy), in the box. WC I - IV, all add-ons, additional DVD version of IV, Armada, Academy, Prophecy, Privateer and add-ons. Ebayed them all for a decent chunk of change at least 5 years ago if not longer. For some reason I still have a bunch of boxed games but mostly ones that I didn't love which is strange. Although I did love Silpheed. Been trying to move them for some time now but many are worthless.
Back to Silpheed, I've played 3 missions of it, its been quite exciting so far. I wonder how long it is, most people have complained its too short.
Nice, I spent a good time on the 360 version, since I loved wing commander too. So time to buy this!
I would love to play WC1 on the xperia play, touchpads would be a plus.... the number of buttons on the xperia play to the 3DO controller are the same so it could utilize the button configuration......... I know there is dosbox for android but it doesnt support the hard ware controls to m=y knowledge
On Wing Commander 1 and 2 You can play on Sega Megadrive or SNES (i dont remember which one). For WC 3 and 4 You can use FPse (thoese game was on PSX).

What was really odd too is.. PSX had less discs the the PC version, but yea, gameplay was good. Hrm.. damnit. Now I am tempted to play WC3 on my XP...
It saddens me greatly that some of the classics are not represented on Android in any way (that I can see). Here are three of my favorites that would work well on a mobile device.
1. Mind Walker. Arguably the first Amiga 1000 game, arguably the first 16-bit game. There are other contenders, but this one has a pretty legit claim. And the gameplay was pretty unique. The randomly generated map is supposed to be a person's mind. Each screen of the map is a 5x5 grid, with each tile supporting a pyramid, a crystal, or one of the four character types. Standing under the pyramid changed your character, and you had to make a path from one crystal to another to get to the next stage, and it just got weirder from there.
2. Zak McKracken. One of the better SCUMM games, but ScummVM for Android doesn't support it. Point and click adventure.
3. Marble Madness. Why hasn't this been done already? The most popular of the bunch here, it was ported on the NES and a couple other systems. The whole thing could be done with a tilt sensor. After the first couple levels, it got hard, quick, but mostly due to the "Simon says" controls, you were never really in control of the ball. It only had 6 levels, I think, maybe 7, possibly 8. Fewer than 10. But it wouldn't be hard to add them, since it was limited by disk space back in the day.
thanks for sharing looking forward to next update

Why not just download the amiga emulator free on google play store and then download the roms of the games you like? Emulator is called 'UAE4Droid'.
Didn't know it existed, thanks. Looks like it's still in development. It basically works but doesn't run anything. Mouse input is completely off, just broken all over. Emulating a computer on a phone is a fundamentally bad idea, though. The games would have to be individually reimagined as touch screen games.
