Final Fantasy 7 iso.... - T-Mobile LG G2x

I downloaded the FPse emulator onto my droid from my linux box(free). I am looking for a good FF7 iso. I cannot find one. NOT ONE. I have searched high and low and every iso i have downloaded either produced a fatal error when i unpacked or just didnt work. Anyone know of a place to get an actual working final fantasy 7 iso?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...NodeId=1&Description=+final+fantasy&x=17&y=16

Ho-ho-ho and a bottle of rhum...

You must get the FPse bios as well.

yeah im looking for a downloadable iso, img, bin file for my android emulator. Not an actualy game.

Lol, are you sure you also have downloaded the FPse bios?

yeah im sure i have the bios file. I was just playing RE2 and Dave Mirra. I am trying to download the FF7 bin from emuparadise.me but the file is a bin.ecm I have tried to extact it on the command line with unecm <ecm file> [filename] keeps saying: Unexpected EOF!
Corrupt ECM file!

Nice, you registered asking help for piracy.

nvm SOLVED! Free ROMs has a good version.

It's actually not piracy if he owned an actual physical copy of the game >.>

As a matter of fact i do own a copy of 7 & 9. I thought 9 was crap tho. 8 wasn't so bad! 7 is still my favorite game of all time!! Its all sitting in my storage with my n64 that has no wires ha.

Yeah I feel a lot of people forget that as long as you own the game its not stealing. I use the emulator myself and like how it handles the roms

which every sane person should own a physical copy and should have played through that masterpiece
and OP you are nuts, 9 was SUCH a good game... 8 has always been the bastard child of the final fantasy series... the gunblade? really? the soundtrack in 9 alone makes it a better game than 8 lol

if you can find your copy, its really easy to make your own image of it. Only take a few minutes with imgburn.

I actually feel the complete opposite. I did not really like 9 and thought 8 was better! I thought the gun blade was cool! To each his own tho. 10 was actually really cool!! NOW WHAT WOULD BE SUPER FREAKING AWESOME WOULD BE IF FINAL FANTASY 7 WAS REMADE FOR PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same story, same characters, same everything, just really awesome graphics!!
@warlock257, instead of digging i would rather just download the img file. I dont have the ps1 system anymore anyway. The main reason i downloaded the emulator. I actually found a site with a working iso. freeroms.com

10 was an absolutely sexy game even though I was not much for the battles... turn order making things predictable for the next 20 turns is no fun to me... luckily the storyline more than made up for for that

FPse FTW! PS1 in the palm of your hand!

I just want to let people know what an awesome app FPse is. If you dont know what it is its a PlayStation 1 emulator. I had tried it out on my previous phone the MyTouch Slide but wasnt very happy with the performance. Using it with my G2x though is like holding a little Playstation in my hand. So far I have beaten Resident Evil Nemesis on it and I'm working on Metal Gear Solid and Road Rash 3D, both of which run beautifully on the G2x. No need for Tegra Zone games on here, I'd rather play full length PS1 games!
Is it comparable to PSXdroid?

this runs so flawlessly way better than psx4droid
anyone know how to make the l1,r1 and start and select buttons to display in landscape mode?
edit: nevermind I got it
This emulator beats psx4droid hands down.
FPse is much better than psx4droid. The bios os avaliable online just google it. I find emuparadise to be the best rom site around. The only thing with roms on emuparadise is alot of them are .ecm file so u need to unecm them but that software is available on thier site

I need help I couldn't figure out how to use this app I download the Tom's but I can't seem to find the BIOS after extracting can some one give me a link for spyro
It might be better, but for the average user I think the "free" price tag of psxdroid sounds better
The price tag of free Is always good. Its always nice to support our app makers. It keeps them coming back to the android platform.
I tried both and fpse was way more polished. psx4droid only became free when It was pulled from the market.

The BIOS file is completely separate from ROM files. The same BIOS file is needed for all PS1 ROM files. I'm sure theres a rule against posting links to files like that so just google "scph1001.bin" and you shouldnt have a problem finding it.

[Q] RPG Games for Honeycomb

Anyone know any good final fantasy type RPGs that work on honeycomb? There is one called Spectral Souls I found in the market but it looks to be in japanese. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have spectral souls, and it's not in japanese:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.hyperdevbox.spectralsouls
Also- Check out BattleHeart. It's much less involved than Final Fantasy, and not turn-based, but it's ton's of fun:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.KelliNoda.Battleheart
I suggest you use various emulators for android to play RPG's such as final fantasy. Also as said before battleheart is a decent one, although imo its not really Final Fantasy like.
Like you I've been keeping my eye out for some good RPG's for Honeycomb and haven't found much yet.
Emulators and some of the older ones are awesome but the emulators don't make use of a touch screen (apart from a emulated d-pad) and its the same problem with Spectal souls... I mean they go so far to get a huge tablet RPG but then don't make it fully touch?! You use emulated buttons to navigate around (apart from turning the camera! WOO!)
Battlehearts is pretty cool but a bit simple - awww can't win with me it seems
Would like souls to make use of a full touch screen (i will buy it then) or waiting for something new to come around.

I've been scouring looking for a nice android rpg but find myself in the same situation.
I'll be experimenting with the ps3 controller hooked up to the dock soon and will likely play psone rpgs that I never got around to playing years ago.
I got about 10 hours of enjoyment from battleheart, it was fun.
There's actually not many games at all optimized for honeycomb, but hopefully soon.
Been itching to try Souls but haven't succumbed to the temptation to drop the money for it.

if i could get uae4droid to work on the asus i'd be playing some of the KRYNN series from SSI (champions of krynn, etc.). Apparently it's a deep dark secret how to actually get the kickstart to work with the emulator.

All I know is my zte blade manages a blazing 7fps at most, with mupen64 (n64oid doesnt work on armv6... stupid blade...)

Yeah, that stage is a killer for most emulators. It wasnt that many years ago even a PC struggled with that
But sounds good it can play things smoothly (more or less)
Cant wait to get my TF now
I know this thread is originally about Zelda, but Ill just sneak in another question... Does N64oid handle Donkey Kong 64? I know mupen doesnt
DK64 is a ***** to emulate

I should have my TF monday.... Still hasn't shipped yet but im waiting patiently.
I got mine yesterday
Tried mario64 a quicky and it was smooooth....
I liked the controller interface on mupen64 more though, going to give that a try later and see if theres any performance hit.
offtopic: so far Im quite happy with the TF Its quite snappy and the screen hardly ever misses any keypresses.
But... is there no haptic feedback on this thing?

well mine was finally shipped, just gotta wait now. i got the dock/keyboard for it yesterday and im rather impressed with it so far. I dont see the issue people are having with the keys being raised up a little.
90% of all n64 emu's can emulate Mario 64 with ease. its the other games that dont. i was floored zelda and smash bros ran as well as it did. As for conkers bad fur day, this was the first emu it was even playable one.

I played OoT a bit yesterday on both mupen and 'oid, and yea, 'oid does indeed run it smoother (cleared deku tree, <3 the FF on the 30min cutscenes )
But I miss some graphical settings . Jet Force got a shadow bug causing the screen to flicker all the time, while mupen plays it just fine (it has other issues though^^).
Its obvious you need both emus to get the most out of N64 emulation at the moment.

Dungeon Hunter 3 Released

Link
It's free, so no doubt this is a freemium game. Not sure if it's optimised, will report back after I've tried it
Edit - Wow, the controls are actually very good on this. Plays great with no lag too
wow!!!!!!! , i've waited for this game for a long time , one of my favorite series , realy thanks man , already downloading
i can't belive that is free )
edit : what OS do you have , GB or ICS ?
This game is not good like previours Dungeon Hunters - no adventure, just killing opponents, like Soul Craft. But controls are very good, graphics too, no lags. But freemium again.....

Despite this game's godawful ratings/reception, I was gonna give it a shot... but them being completely inconsiderate of the fact that not everyone has 1~2GB of internal storage is pure incompetence on their behalf. They need to stop raping people with tacked-on storage-whoring data and just make the damn game 22MB so we can force that nonsense to SD.

I think what he means is the actual application 22mb as that can be forced to sd whereas the data of the app (which is where the 22mb resides) can't be forced to sd?

Ok so for those that have downloaded. I'm a big DH fan, I have DH2 on here and DH Alliance on my PS3.
Is this game playable without dumping in $20? I'd maybe consider dropping 5 bucks in. I hate freemium.
It is perfectly playable for free, but compared to previous DHs it really sucks. No more background story, no more skill trees, etc. I don't even know why they called it Dungeon Hunter 3, it has absolutely nothing to do with the previous titles.
Why did Gameloft want to switch everything to freemium? It was much better before...

[Q] Old Amiga games?

It saddens me greatly that some of the classics are not represented on Android in any way (that I can see). Here are three of my favorites that would work well on a mobile device.
1. Mind Walker. Arguably the first Amiga 1000 game, arguably the first 16-bit game. There are other contenders, but this one has a pretty legit claim. And the gameplay was pretty unique. The randomly generated map is supposed to be a person's mind. Each screen of the map is a 5x5 grid, with each tile supporting a pyramid, a crystal, or one of the four character types. Standing under the pyramid changed your character, and you had to make a path from one crystal to another to get to the next stage, and it just got weirder from there.
2. Zak McKracken. One of the better SCUMM games, but ScummVM for Android doesn't support it. Point and click adventure.
3. Marble Madness. Why hasn't this been done already? The most popular of the bunch here, it was ported on the NES and a couple other systems. The whole thing could be done with a tilt sensor. After the first couple levels, it got hard, quick, but mostly due to the "Simon says" controls, you were never really in control of the ball. It only had 6 levels, I think, maybe 7, possibly 8. Fewer than 10. But it wouldn't be hard to add them, since it was limited by disk space back in the day.
thanks for sharing looking forward to next update

Why not just download the amiga emulator free on google play store and then download the roms of the games you like? Emulator is called 'UAE4Droid'.
Didn't know it existed, thanks. Looks like it's still in development. It basically works but doesn't run anything. Mouse input is completely off, just broken all over. Emulating a computer on a phone is a fundamentally bad idea, though. The games would have to be individually reimagined as touch screen games.
