>>2.5.5 Scrapped timeout and auto-rotate settings. will make landscape scenes eventually.

CWM busybox install if app install fails:

(NOTE: the busybox will not affect your rom busybox and will only be used by this app)
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------
>>>UPDATE: Zram & Swap Control V2.5.1<<<
DOWNLOAD: http://db.tt/rG1B0WVu
-Bug fix: 2.5>>2.5.1 App will now make the data folder: /sdcard/Android/data/siyahmods/ if not present.
EXCLUSIVE NEW FEATURE!!
- Swap PRIORITY settings made possible via a custom busybox which the app will download and Auto-install.
---------------------------------------
NOTE!! This custom busybody WILL NOT replace your main busybox. So don't panic. Only this app will use it. It will reside in /system/bbsiyahmods/
---------------------------------------
- Q: Why is a custom busybox necessary?
A: Because the pared down version of busybox used in CM and many other ROMs does not have the ability to set swap priorities.
- Q: What is so special about being able to set swap priorities?
A: Linux sets the priority in order that to make them active. So to activate a Hard swap partition for example it is necessary to first turn off zram and turn it on again after to ensure it has the highest swap otherwise it won't be used properly.
- Swap activation is much faster now!
A2: Secondly it is now possible to set several swaps with THE SAME priority. So you can have several swaps used equally. I had a theory that perhaps using several swap files in /Cache might make the overall swap work faster... AND IT DOES!!
- CACHE BASED HARD SWAP IS NOW MUCH FASTER!.... (using 4 parallel swap files set with equal priority)
Please before anyone disses this claim please try it for yourself. I don't know the technical reason why but there is no doubt it improves performance markedly!

Thanks man for this really useful app which is the only one of its kind till now.
I just have 2 bugs to report. The first one is that after enabling file swap and setting it to the max, everythig goes well. But after opening your app after a while, I find it disabled again for no apparent reason.
The second bug which I have no idea how it relates to your app is that my s3 screen stopped rotating and did not timeout. I found that the auto rotate option was unchecked and the screen timout was set to 10 mintues. I never had this issue before and the only thing that I was working with when this happened was the zram control.
Thanks again.

Guys I can't build with compatibility below 14 with the new tasker V4... However I have dual boot on my phone so I will install the old version of tasker on my other ROM to do this for this thread... In the mean time everyone can follow the main version on my SGS3 app thread...

[APP][12/4/13]Zram & Swap Control [CACHE & PARTITION] V 2.4.1 FIXED 2.4!
Update: V2.4.1
Big improvements!
>> faster load new style
>> info popups and swap active data info button
>> fixed busybox issue... Basically only some versions of busybox support swap priority settings and my detection system was CRAP! So now if you have hard or soft swap already active and set zram to have both active. All active swaps are first switched off so zram can bev switched on first guaranteeing it has the highest priority OTHERWISE IT WON'T BE USED UNTIL YOUR OTHER SWAP IS FULL!!
this is complicated to please use the new "i" button to check swap status and report any problems with this... Remember if zram is active it should always have a priority of -1 or it won't be active until other swaps are full.
I hope I have got all possible combinations accounted for... Argh hurt my brain this one

rlorange,
Although I used your app successfully on my s3, I had an issue using it on my xoom related to the app interface problem running in landscape mode. I however managed to overcome this issue by using a rotate lock app to force your app to run in portrait mode.
I still have one problem left is that hard swap is not working since it can't detect the swap partition. My xoon sd card second partition is a primary linux swap partition, and hard swap worked fine on the same sd card on my s3.
The xoom is running Android 4.2.2 and the s3 is running 4.1.2
What are your thoughts on this?

OK glad you got it working on your zoom!
I'm sure it will be hit and miss using on a device other than an S3...
This is what I use to detect swap:
fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk1| grep swap | awk '{print $1}'
So I guess the SD card Mount terminology is dissent l different for the zoom.
Do you know which block is your extSD?

I'm getting missing library error when installing the apk file. Tried installing the usual and using the terminal.
Running on a MIUI based rom.. JB 4.1.2. Would love to get zram up and running as my phone only has 512 mb ram

Thank you a lot for the last update. Hard swap seems to be working correctly. When I hit 'i' it shows hard swap size of 1 GB although the app interface shows that hard swap is on with size of 0.

Can this damage our internal memory of the phone , s3 already suffers from a emmc bug so i dont want to speed the brick time .

EAGLESBLOOD™ ROM INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
=======================================
**IMPORTANT** - MUST READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW COMPLETELY
1. Make a full backup of your current ROM. Then copy it over to PC if you wish.
2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM). *Note* You should always flash CWM using a USB Cable and NVflash; do not 'flash CWM from the ROM Manager app'.
3. To begin start by clicking "Wipe User Data/Factory Reset", this will wipe all data off of the phone's memory (not SD card though).
4. Now click "Wipe cache partition".
5. Then go down to "Advanced > Wipe Dalvik cache".
6. Choose Install zip from "External SD Card". Wait for that to complete and confirm you see an "Installation Complete" message.
7. Now, you must flash the correct Google Apps - GApps ICS (gapps-20120212-ics.zip) ...link below.
Once the gapps are installed you can now click "Reboot System". Failing to complete all of these instructions precisely can potentially leave you stuck in
CWM Recovery until you manage to build your way back out. This is not fun, trust us.
9. Done. Enjoy your new ROM!

Awesome Job Don! It's really smooth and the battery life doesn't drain too fast! However I have a question, how would I mount emmc? I go to CWM and go to "Mounts and Storage" and once I mount emmc, I can see all of my files but once I boot to the ROM, emmc is empty...
Hope any of you know a fix! Thanks
EDIT: The fix for this is pretty simple. Props to the other fellas who found out how to do it. Simply get a Root Browser, go to System/Etc/vold.fstab then change the number 9 to an 8. That's all! This will mount your EMMC Partition

As for the video to display all of the features...you have too many!
For the mnt/emmc, I have checked under the root browser...and it's empty but again through CWM I can view all the files, no biggie but it would be cool if someone knew the fix. Perhaps a few cmd commands in the terminal may fix this...anyway I'll do some research and see
I was getting this com.android.phone error at the begging when u sign up not now tho and the screen like goes black when I m writing something in the browser
I was tapping around on the screen and accidentally confirmed an error message while waiting for the splash screen to pass, but I briefly read something that contained com and media (I know that doesn't help much.)
No other error messages so far.
Everything is good so far except settings>battery doesn't show anything using it. I've only had it on the charger so far but it should still be showing something, correct me if I'm wrong.

[GUIDE] Jay's Recipe for Buttery Goodness (cross-posted from AF) (REVISED! 10/10/12)

IMPORTANT: If you updated your system to Android 4.1.2, *DO NOT* flash either _motley kernel, as they are built on 4.1.1 and contain the wrong interface to the power management chip. This will result in a bootloop at the least, and possibly much much worse
What we're doing, here, is turning your n7 into a multitasking muscle-machine, and giving it the I/O throughput to match. These instructions are for the stock ROM, but can be applied to any ROM with a little modification. Enjoy!
Do the OTA update to 4.1.1 (if you're stock and haven't, already), and then......
[KERNEL][GPL][Linaro][OC 1.6GHz][UV][GPU+][ZRAM][SIO+V(R)] 2012-08-10 motley 1.1.1
From that thread, you need:
a) the 1.1.1 kernel of your choice
b) the 1.0.5b kernel with ramdisk (if you're already running a custom ROM with init.d support, you don't need this, nor do you need to create /system/etc/init.d in a future step)
You'll also need:
a) root
b) cwm
c) busybox (absolute must, make sure your symlinks are proper)
d) some type of root-enabled text editor (I use root explorer)
e) a full featured cpu/sd management app (I use System Tuner)
BEYOND THIS POINT, THERE BE DRAGONS. I'm not responsible if you FUBAR your device, but if you follow my instructions to the letter, you won't
0.5) READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE PROCEEDING
1) install cwm and root your tab (if you haven't already)
2) reboot into CWM, flash the 1.0.5b kernel with ramdisk (if you're on stock or a stock-based ROM without init.d support), then immediately flash the 1.1.1 kernel you chose (gpu overclocking is nice and all, but I haven't found a game that doesn't run perfectly with the stock GPU speed of 416MHz..Looks great on benchmarks, though)
3) reboot back into JB, fire up root explorer, remount /system rw, create a folder in /system/etc called init.d (permissions rwxr-xr-x), create a file in it called S90zRAMandSpeedTweaks (permissions rwxrwxrwx), and long-press to open it in a text editor
4) make it look like this:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
#remount /data for faster i/o
mount -o remount,noauto_da_alloc /data /data
#disable fsync (controversial, I've been doing it for years with no real issues)
echo 0 > /sys/class/misc/fsynccontrol/fsync_enabled
#set zRAM size (recommended sizes are 64 and 128, as this compresses an actual block of RAM. Setting it higher will likely impede performance)
echo $((1024*1024*128)) > /sys/block/zram0/disksize
#use busybox to create and activate zram0, if busybox is not in /system/xbin, modify accordingly
/system/xbin/busybox mkswap /dev/block/zram0
/system/xbin/busybox swapon /dev/block/zram0
It's important to leave at least one trailing line in scripts. Just trust me, it's a linux thing.
*NOTE* The above script does NOT check to see if it was successful, but if you copied it directly and installed busybox to /system/xbin then it will work. Once you reboot in a few minutes, you can check by using the command "busybox free" from a terminal emulator or adb shell
5) Save the file, delete the .bak now in that folder, and close root explorer.
6) Open System Tuner, tap on the SD option, change cache to 1024 and scheduler to deadline
7) Tap the Voltage option and hit -25 4 times and save the settings as voltage_table_uv
8) Tap the CPU option and tap Boot Settings. For CPU and SD, set the method to init.d
9) Close System Tuner and reboot your device.
10 Profit/consume butter
It seems like a lot, but it really only takes about 15 minutes if you're a complete rooting n00b, and the end result is a buttery-smooth multitasking powerhouse (that blows iOS *away*). The 100mV undervolt also greatly extends battery life. I haven't had ANY issues at -100mV, but if you do, just increase it by hitting +25 on the voltage tab of System Tuner until you have something that works for you (in fact, you might want to start at -25mV and slowly grow it to -100mV, playing games and checking for instablity along the way)
It's also worth mentioning that if you're currently completely stock, you will need to unlock your bootloader to root and install CWM, and unlocking the bootloader wipes your device (no way around it, unfortunately. Hook your N7 up to your computer and backup the entire contents of /storage/sdcard0 to make restoring your data as painless as possible)
farmerbb's scripts - If you're having trouble getting your scripts to stick, or just don't want to be assed with installing System Tuner, use these! There are three different packages, for 64MB, 128MB, and 256MB zRam setups. Thanks, farmerbb!!
------- Revisions as of 9/1/12 -------
Fixed first line of script so it will actually run
Fixed zRam settings, as zRam is a block of actual RAM, not written to storage
Removed JRummy busybox installer as recommended. Use whichever you like, just make sure your symlinks are good
Awesome guide. Can't wait to try this out!
Thanks for the share..
Sounds good, will try this out tomorrow.
Dont suppose anyone has a copy if 1.0.5? Removed from Motleys OP
Nvm, went on web version and it was there

For the last line, you'll see numbers next to "Swap" instead of just zeroes.
Thank you very much for gathering and presenting all that information. One question though. Does any of this impacts battery life?

Did you run the busybox installer you downloaded from the play store and have it install busybox to /system/xbin?
From terminal emulator, type
busybox which busybox
If it says anything other than /system/xbin/busybox you'll need to modify the script accordingly
Sometime in the next couple days, I'm going to make a cwm-flashable zip that does everything.. I just need to read up on how

Mind didn't work until I ran the script via Script Manager. Download the app, find that zRAM script file you created in the init.d folder, select it, choose script, press the SU & boot icon up top and press Run. You'll see it run in command and say zRAM successful. Press Back and then save it.
For some reason, System Tuner doesn't seem to want to play nice with this script - at least for me.

[WIP][TOOL][ALL DEVICES]AUTOMAGIC zInternal 2 zExternal Memory[CWM][WORKING ON IT]

I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON A TOTAL REVAMP OF THIS TOOL, SO ANY VERSION IN OP IS A NON WORKING VERSION, BECAUSE SIMPLY THE SCRIPT REFUSES TO RUN IN RECOVERY MODE!
Disclaimer:
This mod is meant to be used in every single device that exists in the market in a worldwide basis despite providers and so on!

AUTOMAGIC zInternal 2 zExternal Memory 2.2
The main purpose of this mod:
To all people out there that use our beautiful devices, there is a thing that i hate and that is: LIMITED MEMORY in our device!
Then i had the idea along with my coder and friend zeppelinrox to make a UNIVERSAL memory switcher and along with it being able to use the microSDXC cards of 64Gb as INTERNAL MEMORY!
Click to collapse
What does this MOD do after all?
This mod switches the internal memory of your device with the external SDCard, and when your rom boots Android will "think" that your external SDCard is actually the internal memory and will use it to install data and so on!

FAQ:
1) Whoaaaaa my device is not supported because i get an error when i try to flash the mod via recovery... what now?
Go to: /system/etc and post your vold.fstab and we will make it work with your device!
2) Cool it works but i wanted to change it back to it's original form... how can i do so?
Just flash the zip again and it will reverse the changes!
Changelog:
1.0 alpha:
New: Initial idea for the script and i wrote a very simple script, but didn't do what i intended!
1.1 alpha
Fixed: Script was searching for the file in the wrong folder, without the right permissions!
Fixed: Permissions fixed and now searches for the right file in the right directory!
1.4 alpha
Fixed: Permissions (again lol)
New: Added error if script finds a non working file that can be modded!
1.6 beta
Fixed: Script works but was changing the mounting points to the wrong point of volume mounter inside Android
2.0 stable release!
New: Added feature to detect non working volume mounter in a non working device!
Fixed: Detected right mounting and if there are spaces or wrong lines only the right ones are detected and properly edited now!
2.1 stable
New: Capability of creating a binary on init.d so a developer can include this script in a ROM!
New: The script does now create a backup of the original vold.fstab!
New: Capability of in case of existence of backup, it restores to the original vold.fstab that comes with the ROM that you are using!
New: The script on init.d checks if the MOD was installed already and in case it was it won't change all the time you reboot your device, so the change is only done once you flash the zip
New: Possibility of running this MOD thru terminal with: su -c zwitcher
Fix: Typo in installation script where it was supposed to say 2.0 and it said 1.0 (ups)
2.2:
Major fix: Permissions correctly implemented in recovery to run the script!
To Do List:
Currently nothing but i will add new features because i have many changes in mind!
Ah... I was gonna say "FIRST!"
But I'll settle for...
FIFTH!
lol
Of course I'll be available for increasing compatibilty... because there is always stuff changing
Oh yeah, if users have a vold.conf file as well it may not work "as is".
In that case they should post both vold.fstab and vold.conf
Well i have edited the first topic to be a little bit more interesting and i hope people find it useful
Thanks a lot my friend :good:
Version 2.1 is OUT with many addictions and a little fix for a typo!
Changelog:
Well so far i tried to flash today the MOD that we were creating and came to the conclusion:
Lack of permissions to run the script thru recovery! (major UPS )
And i didn't made the correct command to run the script without errors!
Don't try to flash 2.1 and neither 2.0 because both builds are broken due to a lack of permissions to run the script in recovery!
Will fix ASAP! :good:
Errors happen and since we are humans and we make mistakes here is 2.2 release!
Changelog for 2.2:
Major fix: Permissions correctly implemented in recovery to run the script!

Don't flash 2.2 because it's still broken!
A NEW VERSION IS BEING WORKED ON!
Zep i've come to a conclusion and now i need your help because i need two things:
First of all i have discovered why the script was refused to run in recovery:
Not an edify script (DUH) so it needed to be run like this:
Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "sh", "/tmp/mod_vold.fstab.sh");
But i need you to do two things for me that will be:
Making the main script to edit ONLY the vold.fstab
And the binary that goes on xbin and the init need to be different files, cannot be created from recovery!
So:
Script to edit vold.fstab with a temporary directory for example: /tmp_vold/
the binary already compiled to run from xbin
and init.d script!
Can you do it my good friend?
:good::highfive:
Before doing anything drastic, test with a blank line at the end of the script

Wherever you want?
This is just the memory for storage, doesn't affect the internal partitions!
I mean for example:
For Galaxy Note /system is and always will be: mmcblk0p9
And so on!
It only edits the mounter to switch the mounting of the partition of storage between: /sdcard and /external_sd
So when you access inside Android to a file manager
/external_sd is actually phisically speaking your internal memory (device memory)
And /sdcard is the SDCard (your microSD card)
got it?
It's just to improve the space to store the data for huge games like gameloft games

Running thru script manager yes, but currently we were trying to make it run in recovery mode to spare the user two reboots!
But tomorrow i will post a new version (ALL THE VERSIONS included in OP are BROKEN so flashing won't do nothing to your phone lol)
I will post a new version that is to be flashed via script manager with root and it will install a binary and in case you wanna undo or include this in your own rom all you have to do is pickup zwitch from /system/xbin and give it the proper permissions!
For now this script is useless LOL
Tomorrow i will post a totally revamped version because only using recovery for now it's impossible since i am currently working on it!
:good:

Mounts2SD - Storage & Memory Management
Mounts2SD started out as a simple sd-ext script which only difference between it an others like it, was that it did not use symlinks to create links between /data and /sd-ext. To day it has grown to be so much more. It now comes packed with an Application for controlling the script, viewing current states and more. The script itself has grown to become a large storage and management script with features that controlls SWAP, ZRAM, mount optimization, storage thresholds, different external and internal MMC configurations, cache and more. The content management is able to move a lot more different content between /data and /sd-ext, including the new internal storage, which on some devices, is placed in /data/media, and it also contains more than one option for storing system content on both /data and /sd-ext.
Mounts2SD is no longer just a script for devices with low storage capabilities. It can be used for a lot of things and is useful on almost any device, even those without external sdcard.

And I will gladly help you with this problem, but please use the Bug Report feature at the top of the Thread. It makes it much easier to keep track of current reports. Also, can you add a logcat entry of this issue as well?

Is it compatible with link2sd?
I'd like to move swap and cache on the second partition.
There's a separate q&a thread...just in case you weren't aware....

Of cause not. Link2SD is not compatible with Mounts2SD or vise versa. You can't have two sd-ext scripts doing the same things and expect it to work.
using 4ext recovery and have sd-ext set up on sd card. rom boots fine. and i have the latest version of mounts2sd installed, under app settings i have the start up script installed, have green ck dot for applications, but still get insufficent avl, im very green when it comes to apps2sd and mounts2sd, the guides are not too helpful. any help here would be great. thx. jake

What does the size information say about your partitions? You can see this in the app. If cache or data is using to much space, it does not help much to have moved the APK's. And also, what about the Threshold, is that displaying more than what is left on data?
If dont check options that move data from /data/data into/sd ext/data/ whether to open the app to be faster?.
My memory card is 4gb class 4.

It all depends on the sdcard whether it slows down or not. I have a 16GB Kingston class4, and this card has faster read and write speed than the internal nand on the SGS3, so I actually gain speed by moving content to sd-ext.
The best cards when using sd-ext, is Kingston, Samsung and ScanDisk. The best class value is 2, 4 and 6 (High values is not good when using sd-ext). The worst is class10 (Don't know why). Also, lower readahead is mostly a good thing, but not if you do a lot of PC~>Phone transfers. So if you don't copy much from PC to Phone, I would lower it to 128KB.
Also, you could always try. If you think that your phone get's slower by moving /data/data, then you can just move it back.

Thanks, my card is Kingston, mean you say that be better that put lower readahead, on me when look on script for readahead is default 512kb, did leave thus?. Some say that be better that be a 2048kb readahead.
For copy from PC to phone, use air droid, I copy litlle much from PC to phone and conversely, and now how would you put in for readahead?
Ok, I do like you say for readahead, and leave on 512kb, it is deafult read.
Now I leave data/ data, on my internal memory, and only 47mb use.I have small internal memory 158mb free wheb flas ROM. On default is 512mb RAM.

Many people think that higher number means better performance, but they never take into account the scenarios. Large readahead is great for large file transfers and small readahead is good for many small reads and writes. So if you often copy multiple gb of music, movies etc to your phone, then yes, a large readahead would be better. If the system is constantly writing small amounts of data to the drive, then smaller readahead is better. The best would properly be around 4kb, but since you also use the first partition as a storage device, it is best to find a middle (Around 128kb, 256kb or 512kb depending of how much transfers you make).
It's like people who thinks that a large CPU is better in their computer, without thinking about whether or not their old HDD can actually keep up with that speed. Grater number does not mean better. A perfect balance is what you should go for.

[Edify_code] [Init.d support] [Scripts] Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro GT-I8552

EDIFY CODE FOR ANDROID KITCHEN WITH CORRECT MOUNTING POINTS
So this is our newly created (by me) edify code file specific for our device...
Tested on Raw firmware and now the updater script has correct mounting points...:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Replace this file in cygwin/home/kitchen/tools/edify_defs folder
File name is delos3geur which has all mounting points and system path and file system formats...specific for our device
If you dont have this file in that directery to replace then just add it to the folder
Now cook roms (anybody) with this in their kitchen..modify and add scripts, theme etc...

INIT.D FOLDER SUPPORT
OK GUYS here i present you the method to install init.d folder support without a custom kernel so that we can use any scripts or app2sd etc...
IT WORKED AND TESTED IN MY DEVICE :highfive::highfive::highfive:
Requirements:
#1 You must be rooted
#2 You must have busybox intalled
#3 ADB driver installed in your pc
Procedure to install:
- Download 'Busy Box" and install from playstore {select /system/xbin/
- Download attached 'DOC_INIT.D.zip' file and extract it to your pc {in to C:/} {dont extract in any folder}
- Now run 'runme.bat' file
- Grant permission in phone to ADB Shell then rest it will do by default {Dont Do Anything Else}
- your phone will show the process on screen
After installation complete terminal shows 'All Done' press any key to continue
Check for init.d folder in Root/etc/init.d
How to confirm its working?
Reboot after install
Check u will see root/data/local/temp/init.d_log_text.txt
Open the file in text viewer it will show 'done'
Now you successsfully installed init.d folder
Now its time to test all the scripts available in XDA...
Finally you guys also check the scripts....download Script manager app - put the script file in that init.d folder - select the script through smanager

Adrenaline™ Boost
Description
This script act like an nitro boost for your Android.
It helps you to clear your system cache, get more free ram for you and gravely boost your phone's performance !
*Best use before gaming !
How it works?
Your phone's ram usage will get higher and higher everyday then you will find your ace become an @SS because it's turtle speed and only reboot fix this problem.
Our android os create system cache everyday, but after one day or so, those old caches are not longer in use but the os continuously create newer cache that's why the ram get heavier and heavier everyday !
Adrenaline Boost help you to clear those caches ! So you won't have to reboot again !
For those who have sharp eyes may find your battery life decreased. WHY?
Adrenaline Boost clear your system cache and your cpu will work harder to build back needed cache.
Some have reported to me that the Opera browser crash after boost when open over 3 tabs.
You system need caches to work , this boost is intended to clear old cache that are no longer using and let the system to build new cache, so if u boost it too often , your cpu will be very busy building needed caches and may consume more battery than normal !
Boost it only when it's needed then there will be no problem !
How To Install ?
1) Download from the attachment below
2) Put into your sdcard
3) Reboot into CWM
4) Mounts /system
5) Flash it
6) Reboot
How to Use It?
1) Open terminal emulator
2) Type :su [hit enter]
:boost [hit enter]
How to uninstall adrenaline boost

[SOLUTION] No lockscreen and No power option
Guys most of us encountered a similar problem like this - for no reason the lockscreen and power option menu wont work
sometimes you will get red warning like 'factory mode is on' some features wont work properly
Guys it's because of Corrupted EFS folder
So here is the exact solution to get rid of factory mode into user mode [get back your lockscreen and power option menu]
Its a proven method
You have to root your phone and install Terminal Emulator from Google Play.
Open terminal emulator and type as ;
su
rm /efs/FactoryApp/keystr
rm /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode
echo -n ON >> /efs/FactoryApp/keystr
echo -n ON >> /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode
chown 1000.1000 /efs/FactoryApp/keystr
chown 1000.1000 /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode
chmod 0744 /efs/FactoryApp/keystr
chmod 0744 /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode
reboot
You now should not see the that message anymore. Its because of an EFS corruption.
Hope it helps!!!
Time to enjoy 'hurray' i got my lockscreen and power option menu :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Memory Swap Method
External to Internal Memory Swap method :victory::victory::victory:
please follow the steps carefully :laugh::laugh:
- Download and install the app that i attached here
- open the app and grant permission
- pop up message will appear press'I dont care'
- go to settings:
1.check 'send rescan'
2. check 'Use per default'
- press original mounting point and change as 'sdcard0'
- press Ext.sdcard device Access and change the value from 179:49 to 179:33 its our device access value
- press back button and come to main screen
- check 'At Boot' box
- Now press External>Internal*
- wait till u get a small fraction popup message like 'Android sdcard permission granted' something like this
- Now go to storage option in settings there u will see your ext sdcard is swaped as internal sdcard
- Reboot device to work properly
Guys it works only on JB 4.1.2 and if you dont like to swap just uninstall app and reboot
Use Class 6 or Class 10 Sdcards...I prefer Class 10 :angel::angel::angel:
Dont worry all your apps data will be swaped to ext sdcard so apps will work normally
I swaped my 8gb sdcard as internal memory:
If u use 16gb - internal will be 16gb
If u use 32gb - internal will be 32gb
