Don't know buddy... If the file is one file as provided by odin than as per my understanding it should be flashed as pda...
Since it is an upgrade to xxkc1, you should be able to upgrade to gb from froyo. I would recommend downloading a froyo binary, hard reset the phone and then flash this file as pda. In case you get bootloop, go to recovery and remove cache and data and see if you can get to gb desktop...
If this didn't work, you should be able to downgrade to froyo....
I have seen drawbacks of gb bootloader... Lost 2 motherboards
Please take extra caution...i wrong be responsible for bricking or anything else

Hello All:
First of all thank this great work and I e know many waiting to be ported to a custom rom.
What I've done:
1) install the firmware THROUGH Odin. XXKPE
2) Install the firmware PDA XXKPH as Odin.
3) install GT-PDA-XXKPE I9003_PDA-fixed with Odin.
3) open and press SuperOneClickv1.9.1 GingerBreak and Root.
4) install CF-ROOT - I9003 - Beta as a PDA with Odin.
and voila, I have installed Legen _x_tripin and so far so good.
this is what I have done
I hope he does well
there's no such thing that Turkish people are not familiar with English.
as to your question, my friend, you need to flash XXKPE first. to do that, just make a quick search on this section. i'm sure you're gonna find what you need.
anyway, if you need help just send me a message.

First off: Flashing this firmware seems to be a bit problematic. I would suggest looking at the feedback thread beforehand.
A prerequisite to flashing this from FROYO would be to flash using the .pit file, the Boot file (APBOOT), the Modem file (PHONE), the multi-CSC file (CSC) from the XXKPE release from this link.
Use the file from this feedback thread (mentioned above too), as the PDA file.
First you must use just the .pit file in ODIN and check that re-partition is selected.
Hit reset.
Then add the aforementioned files to their respective sections in ODIN and flash.
Into my knowledge if you are on froyo then first flash with kpe with all available files under rar file(please follow flash guide thread ) then for kph (single Flash), select single file as PDA in odin then flash.
If you stuck on boot loop then factory reset your phone under recovery mode ok
I hope this will help you.

FAQ's :
Q. I am getting stock recovery instead of CWM touch recovery. Why is that ?
Two reasons : 1. If your firware is updated through KIES the odin cannot reach the block in which the recovery is there.
Solution : Flash any Stock Firmware through Odin and then flash the recovery.
2. Random issue is spotted where the recovery does not flash after the above solution too.
Solution : Uncheck auto-reboot. After Odin says PASS remove battery and re-insert it, Now you can enter CWM !
Q. Why is my download not ending even though md5 is verified?
Solution : If you are using the USB cable which came with the phone please change it , it is damn slow !
Q. COM port is not turning up !!!!!!
Solution : Update your ADB driver or install it properly.
Q. All of the above is correct, then why the hell odin is not flashing the recovery ?
Solution : Try flashing through odin3 v3.07(try googling it for download),then too you can't get it right then the hell demon is in your mobile he'll not let you do this

now I have super SU on my I9105P. that's fatastic.

tested it on I9105p, unfortunately it did not root! I'm still stuck in Android system recovery, while Odin says succesfull.
You must be missing something or doing something wrong.
What version of ODIN do you have ? I have used v3.07
Have you enabled the "USB debugging" in android's Developer options ?
Give us more details on the exact procedure/steps that you are doing.

Not sure if I did something wrong, also I had Odin v3.04 I downloaded/used Odin v3.07 afterwards, but that still did not work.
These are the steps I did.
1. I downloaded the ABD drivers
2. Downloaded the recovery from this thread
3. Turned off my device
4. Went to odin mode
5. Connected my usb cable to my mobile
6. The mobile got detected through Odin3
7. I selected CWM through PDA
8. Clicked start
9. Waited till it went succesfull
10. Turned my phone yet again off
11. Tried to go to CWM, but instead I went to Android system recovery
Also dev. options were enabled.

OK, here are some other things that may help with troubleshooting:
- I have the i9105P model (with NFC)
- The drivers installed from KIES tough this should not make any difference.
- The firmware version installed on my phone using ODIN is I9105XXAMB2 downloaded from here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9105P
For the non-NFC version I cannot see a similar firmware version but I see that there is an I9105DDAMB2 version built on 12 Feb
Maybe chotu222 is can tell if the firmware revision on the phone should make any difference.

Even for the stock firmware. In the Official Firmware thread the only link I get is a download manager. I have downloaded tons of files before and know to avoid all those big download buttons because they are garbage software. But where is my firmware download? What am I doing wrong?
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but if I understand correctly if you reflash a stock rom that will unroot you, and is safer/easier than any unroot methods that are out there...

Assuming you managed to download the zip file( yes, you can downoad it from that site, just look for the small download buttons )
The .zip file that you download isn't a "update.zip" type file, it's just a normal zip that contains you rom image. You're suppose to extract the .md5 file in the zip and flash it with Odin.
What works for me:
- Start Odin 3.07 : http://samsung-updates.com/Odin307.zip
- Click the PDA button and select the .md5 file, let it process for a while
- Put the tab in Odin mode - Shut down then hold power + vol down key
- Flash the firmware in Odin( Start button )
PS : 10th post for me, Ima gonna go spam the dev forum now MWHAHAHAHAHAH

You also must "factory reset" your device, as in erase all user data. Power + Volume up and then choose facotry reset / erase user data or similar, I can't remember
install supersu, in the settings there's a function for a full unroot. that should fully "unroot" our device. all root does is add some files to /system. nothing more. at least that's the case with our tab+.

Here is the link to file you need to flash :-http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/17730/P3100XXDMG6_P3100OXADMG6_XEF/
I am also posting the steps:-
How to Update Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 to Official JB 4.2.2 XXDMG6 Firmware
Odin can be properly used only if your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 drivers are being installed on your computer. If the drivers are not there, get them manually or use Samsung KIES.
Download Odin on your computer.
Unzip the file on your PC and install the same.
Also, run Odin on your computer.
Finally, go here and download the Jelly Bean 4.2.2 file.
Place the file on desktop and on the same place unzip the package.
Enter the Tab 2 in download mode.
For download mode first turn off your handset; wait a few seconds and then press on Power, Volume Down and Home buttons at the same time.
Connect your device with the computer via USB cable.
Odin will recognize your tablet and on the program you will see the “added” message displayed and the ID:COM section blue or yellow.
If not, resolve the problems by reinstalling the drivers on the computer.
From Odin click on the option named “PDA”.
Pick the update file from your computer.
The re-partition section and the f. reset time box should be unchecked.
Click on “start”.
The XXDMG6 Firmware will now be installed.
In the end on Odin the ID:COM section will be green and the “pass” message will be displayed.
Then, you will be able to unplug the USB cable; also reboot your device.

You don't need to update bootloader if you are on 4.1.2 as it has a lollipop compatible boot loader,
You can get the custom recovery file from here, I am posting of my favorite recovery that is TWRP
Just click here :- TWRP
Of course you need a rooted tab for flashing it, you can just download it to your tab and flash it by using Rashr (it's a app available on playstore, just click on it to go to the google play page to download it) or existing recovery, that you most probably don't have.
And tell me anything else you want, but don't forget to press the thanks button

If @Er. Abhi doesn't already have custom recovery installed, he can flash TWRP with Odin or Heimdall. I can confirm the Heimdall will flash the twrp img file.

Why you need firmware? Don't you have the 4.1.2 installed?
