I'm providing you complete folder of mine which has basic stuffs like custom recoveries, ODIN & root.zip
GALAXY Ace Plus - Basic stuff
- First from above link go into ODIN Software folder & download that software.
- Then from Custom recoveries folder download any one recovery which you like either CWM or TWRAP
(here I assume you know how to flash this custom recovery using ODIN)
- Next go in GALAXY Ace Plus ROOT folder & download RootSGAP.zip
- Place it in your SD Card.
- Boot in CWM
& flash that zip through SD card
- Reboot
- Done... you have rooted SGAP

First, Install kies to install drivers properly.
Open ODIN
Connect device to PC using USB Cable in download mode.
Click pda.
Select downloaded recovery file
(Its in .md5 format you have to extract downloaded zip)
Click start
Wait till reboot.
Done.

ODIN is universal flashing software for all samsung android device.
But for others (recovery n root zip) made for ace plus only don't even give a try on other device

nope with stock even CWM recovery you can flash only .zip files
where ODIN accepts .MD5 (CWM recovery is in .md5 format)

i...really...didn't know we had a stock recovery....
i flashed cwm through odin......
try cwm 6.0.1.2 and then root again i guess. or as rooting file flash su package

no its not supported by rom manager.
To flash mod recovery every android device must need odin.
Then i need to follow skins method... Right..

download a stockrom for your device e.g. from www.samsung-updates.com
now extract the XXXX_Home.tar.md5 from it.
Open the *.tar.md5 using 7-Zip - (ignore a warning message if it shows one).
now extract the recovery.img from it
you now got a stock recovery.img
download a flashable recovery for your device.
delete the recovery.img inside it
now put you stock recovery,img inside it

try on your own risk
now you have a flashable stockrecovery.zip

1.Open the app.
2.Click on Boromir.
3.Click on Ok.
4.Reboot.
Your device is rooted and u can verify it by root checker app.
Flashing Custom Recovery:
You can flash CWM recovery by mobile uncle app from play store.
Download CWM Recovery From Attechment Below
Now put This recovery on root of Your Sd Card And Rename It To recovery.img
Now Open Mobile Uncle Tool Then Click On Recovery Update.
Then Choose Your Recovery And press Ok .
You Are Done
For custom Rom We will Work soon

This version is 6.0.4.4 I reinstall early version 5.5.0.4. Back up working.

Read top of topic there are user manual how to root and how to install CWM (via Mobile Uncle Tools).
Just put on sd new recovery.img and install.

this thread is for those people who dont have the pc or dont want to use pc for rooting or install the cwm recovery on there s duos.
i am new on xda so not able to post links of the apps.
if you want to install cwm first you need to root your phone without pc. here are the steps:-
1)first download the app root master apk search it on the google .
2)then after installing the app click on the mulai root.
3)dont worry about the language we will fix it later.
4)after click on mulai root click on yes on whatever they ask.
5)you have succesfully rooted your phone.
now in order to install the cwm:-
on your phone you need to rename the file install.recovery.sh
steps:-
1)download es file explorer from play store
2)then click on root explorer
3)give permissions to rewrite
4) after that go to folder device/system/etc
5)search the file install.recovery.sh and rename it to install.recovery.sh.bak in order to avoid overriting of stock recovery
6)now download the flashify app from play store.
7)download recovery.tar file you will find it anywhere on xda
8)extract through androzip or any other app recovery.tar file you will get recovery.img file
9) save it on your sdcard
10)now open the flashify app and click on recovery
11)then click on choose from sdcard then select recovery.img remember not recovery.tar you have to select recovery.img file
12)then click on flash
done!!!!!!
then reboot into recovery you will find there is cwm.
you can also flash stock recovery like this.
if you want to change that superuser app. jst dwnld cwm flashable supersu.zip and flash via cwm it will get removed and you will get new english supersu.

I ve done as instructed but a problem arisen. my phone wont connect to computer and charger does not show the plug sign. it charges alright though. By the way it rooted properly.
Now i want to unroot it and set to factory settings. how do i do it without using a computer?

if you are rooted bro. jst open supersu app and go to setting you will find there a full unroot click over there done..!!!

In settings, it shows CWM recovery. so i cant do stock reset or updated the firmware.
as i said earlier the phone does not connect to PC in any way. so if its a hardware problem, i will go for warranty.
Please help me out.

u can flash the stock recovery using this method to go back to stock firmware bro.extract sock recovery.tar file u will get an stock img file flash it as u flash cwm.u will get stock recovery back.i am using 1.34 v of superuser in that there is option of full unroot(clean up for permanent unroot) after click on this it will unroot ur phone.so first install superuser 1.34 and thn unroot ur phone. u can also able to do update ur phone after flashing stock recovery. no need to dwnld whole firmware.

I have tried this method as well as above methods but I am not able to root my GT-S7562 phone.
I get the exclamatory symbol when I power up my device but when I proceed to CWM recovery mode to flash a custom rom it goes to android recovery mode.
In this without PC method after I have installed 'ES File explorer' and when I try to select 'Root Explorer' I get the message "Sorry, test failed. This feature can't run on your device"
Please help me or direct me to thread which will allow me to enjoy the custom rom world.

You CAN'T ! At least you can't with CWM 6.0.1.2 as its tooooooooooo old. I'll post a proper recovery version
Use PhilZ advanced CWM 6.19.3 as its found HERE

Which file did you use?
the tar.md5 is for ODIN
the.zip is flashable via your actual recovery

the winrar file is on my pc now...i tried to put it via odin..when i choose the file in odin i see nothong to load !!
I TRIED then to flash it via the old recovery i have...from sd zip file ...it makes the steps for instalation of recovery file...then it says finished the instalation *(reboot the recovery )..after reboot i find the old recovery(6.0.1.2) and nothing updated!!
may you Install Teamviewer that I can perform installing the recovery for you?
