Yep! D: sure is. If more than one thing is broken you may as well RMA or get a new one.

I got error while trying to flash stock back to the tablet and now the thing is pretty much dead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1973598
Do you think if I RMA the tablet they can still see that it is rooted?
wooow thank you for this!in last months i used tf very rarely, because i have 2 prob:
display broken,but very usable yet
battery not charge.or i should leave it always docked or always on ac charger (and i blame asus with all my voice for putting 15v in out on the charger)
3,but not a problem,ac charger broken.with battery died it's a plus have it working
I used this video to dismantle mine

hi everyone
sorry for digging up such an old thread
does anyone have the correct part number for the tf101 lcd screen?
I tried to search through the forums but I was unsuccessful. I'm really not sure what it is I am looking for. On my old TF201 (Exchanged at BestBuy) I had these little dust covers that fit into the bottom of my Prime to keep dust and other materials out of the bottom of the device. Upon opening my Infinity I noticed that these two little rubber plugs are missing. Does anyone know where I would be able to get a set of them?
Thank you for any help
I don't think you can get them anywhere. They don't seem to include them with the Infinity. Only the cover for the 40 pin connector.

Thank you for your reply. I was afraid of this. I was hoping that there was some kind of quick fix or somebody had made a set to buy.
I was disappointed with this as well and would have kept them from my prime that i exchanged if I would have known.
The also removed the fake sd card, but I just put a real card in the slot.

Are you in the US? If you are in the US, I'll gladly send you my covers (no fee!) as I'll never use them...

Anyone else becoming bored with this tablet? I am, thinking of trying out the note 10.1 and then the nexus 10. Anyone here come from the note? If so, why the switch?

Use your search button, thats what its there for.... blah blah. That's all you people ever say. Obviously you dont care and it was just a question/statement so if you dont care it probably would have been easier for to skip this thread.

Well... What are you going to do differently on a N10.1 or an N10 that you won't do on a TF700? If you're bored with the TF700 maybe you're just bored with Android in general. Maybe you should just switch to iOS then.

Sorry, but this thread brings nothing to the community. We have plenty of "general" boards which would be receptive to your question. Please take it there.
Wanting to start unlocking my tf300; i saw a cliff
If i brick it
to attack without stress, i want a second main/logic/mother-board
And i hope to buy one motherboard before to flash anything
one of you has already changed the logic board
I find one board on ebay but only for US shipping and i live in France
is this a good idea? or unnecessary fear

Just Installed one
I just installed one to revive my bricked 16GB tablet. I would not buy one until you need it. I would HIGHLY recommend getting NVFlash snapshots if you have those you cant be bricked by a failed boot loader flash.
Best,
Feend
PS provided you have ICS and not JB. It is not possible as of yet to get NVFlash access on JB.
One from ebay?
Easy to fix it?
No nvflash for me, jb 4.1.1

Took 20 min or so fairly easy. Bought a tab w/ a bad digitizer cheap off eBay.
You can get them from these guys too I think.. http://www.portatronics.com You would have to ask them to order you one.
Best,
Feend
i just unlock and root without stress
but i always want to buy another card just in case

Go to the general section and look for the "TF300 back removed" thread.
back up and going got a new motherboard for my tablet from hammyelectronics a seller via ebay free shipping only 99.98 and best of all it came 3 days early took 5 minutes to install the new chip. Thanks lesson learned dont format storage you will result in hard brick i did myself while trying to root and install recovery, read read and read more before attempting any changes or modifications to your device.
Been searching around but only sellers I can find are in the states.
Failing that does anyone know if the prime or TF300 docks are compatible?

The UK only sold them as a unit together. Your best bet is look for a TF201 dock.
Thanks for the info. The ebayer I got it took didn't declare it was a us one I only found out when I opened the package up and found a us charger. Glad I didn't have to bid too high to get it.
I've got a prime already, will try it in that dock.

The prime dock will fit the Infinity just fine. The TF300 dock will fit, if only loosely. If you want to use it though, you need to pad the back of the Infinity with tough cloth tape. You can't pad the front as it fits snugly into the dock on that side.
