[Q] Can't send MMS unless WiFi is off (CM 10.1) - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

All of a sudden, I can't send MMS messages when WiFi is on. I'm using GoSMS and CM 10.1 21030324. I tried jumping back to backups of CM10.1 to see if that would fix it, nope.
I found some links in a search but they are from roughly 6+ months ago, no real resolution.
If I turn off WiFi, it works.
It used to work fine with WiFi on.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

I am having the same issues on CM10.1 Nightly (20130312) running Chomp. However, even by disabling WiFi I cannot send pictures. I am using an HTC One S on T-Mobile.

After a lot of troubleshooting, I just decided to go back to the last "stable" experimental build of CM 10.1 --- it solved the problem. So, it has something to do with CM nightlies.

[Q] MMS issues with Jelly Bean

So after being a long time lurker I finally decided to post.
So after I flashed Sky-JB 7.4 I started to experience one major bug with the MMS. I can't seem to view images or mms if the data was not on at the original time the mms was sent. In ICS and other samsung based roms, if a mms was sent to me and my data was turn off, It would begin to download once I turned it on. But now on CM10, it just hangs there claiming to be downloading.
Now I have already searched this and this seems to be an issue but I wanted to know if this is something that other people are running into using a CM10 based rom.
I too turn data on and off per mms but have no problems with it. I'm on orthus. But I use handcent sms for my texting.

[Q] Bluetooth issue with VRBLK1

I installed this latest jellybean leak for my Verizon GS3.
Pairing is not a problem nor is auto connect. My problem is the audio is completely garbled and inaudible during voice phone calls from my car.
I have an Infinity G37.
I did not have any problems before I flashed this leak Prior to this, I had flashed CyanogenMod 10 unofficial nightly builds with no problems. Prior to this, I had also used the latest verizon release for ICS with no problems.
The phone (as currently flashed to the jellybean leak VRBLK1) pairs and works perfectly with my wife's BMW Z4.
I have reset, unpaired, cleared the cache, etc and I just cant get this to work. I have tried different radios with no luck. I have downloaded and tried different bluetooth fixes from the marketplace with no luck.
My only option is either flashing back to ICS, or CyanogenMod 10 unofficial, but I prefer not to do that because other than this problem, everything else is perfect.
I have searched the forums and am unable to get an older version of Bluetooth Share (Would like to replace 4.1.1 with 4.0.4) which i suspect may fix this problem.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I do a lot of calls in my vehicle and we have a hands free ordinance in our city.
Nothing?
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
You've got it: 4.1.1 issue. No idea on a fix, I'm back to ICS as a result. Isn't a modem issue it seems (unless interaction between JB builds and particular modems), seems to be a JB issue (reported across phones with lots of different vehicles).

MMS crashing when sending -Beanstalk 4.4.240

I can receive MMS fine but when trying to send a picture via MMS, it crashes with the message unfortunately messaging has stopped. I have Beanstalk 4.4.240 installed on (2) Infuses and the problem is with BOTH of them. I think this is a problem on my end because I have not found anyone else on the Beanstalk thread posting this problem.
What can I do/check on my phone to help diagnose the problem and what are some possible fixes? I am using the default messaging app.
UPDATE: I installed CM11 over my Beanstalk and I no longer have the problem. Must have been in the Beanstalk 4.4.240 build. Strange that no one else has posted the same problem.
Thanks.

Ive been experiencing this as well with the most recent build. I've even clean reflashed once just incase the first clean install didn't take but the same results. It crashes both with the messenger app and hangouts... Doesnt seem to make a difference. I'm sure it will be corrected in the next build though.
I really like all the custom features of the Beanstalk builds. I am looking forward to a stable 4.4 version. On my daily driver, the S3, I have had to get away from the KK versions due to the bugs. I am running CM10.2 on my S3 and I really like it. I had a 4.3 Beanstalk build on it for a while but was having bluetooth connection issues. It seemed to have a mind of its own. Other than that I really liked the rom

CarbonRom 4.4.4 Nightly [FIX] GPS issues on XT925

Hi All,
On a Telstra XT925 I have been on SlimRom 4.3 for some while now and for last 2 months or so I have been routinely backing this up with CWM and trying the various new 4.4.x builds but have *always* found the Location settings did not work at all. I also went as far as trying all manner of other apps to either help the GPS get a lock but in all cases it refused to recognize that there was a GPS at all or was not turned on, and this would not have been too bad if the WiFi location based side was working as a stop gap, but this also stubbornly refused to work so I kept reverting back to 4.3.
I'm not sure if this is just me, but this was the case for DHacker, CM11, SlimKat 4.4.2 + 4.4.3, RomFactory, that is until I tried Carbon Rom KK Nightly from 20-June-2014 from the moto_msm 8960 Build:
https://carbonrom.org/downloads/?device=moto_msm8960&type=nightly
This is 4.4.4 and I'm happy that I did persevere because the GPS *IS* working on this. The Wifi location sensing is still not working which is something of a shame, but now I no longer consider this a deal breaker and can live with it. If anyone has any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or fix the Wifi Location issues I'm open to suggestions.
Cheers,
DaveC
and the reason you did not post this in the Carbon-Thread is....?

[Completed] [Q] CM 12 SMS Issues

Hello guys,
Alright I am having an issue with my SMS. I currently have a Note 4 on Sprint. I can receive SMS messages, but cannot send them. I can send and receive MMS, and have no issues placing phone calls or using data. The only issue that I am running into is responding to SMS messages. I am currently running the most recent CM 12 nightly, but have tried reverting to older nightlies to see if the issue still persists. It does. Things that I have tried:
- Rebooting phone
- Reflashing nightly
- Data wipes
- Updating the ISMS
I've spent the last few hours looking at similar problems and the way that they have resolved them is by disabling Google Voice. Well, I don't have Google Voice on my phone and have no way of disabling this.
The kicker to all of this is when I wipe and reinstall my nightly, everything will work (send and receive SMS) until I shut off my phone or flash a new nightly (or until my phone dies). So I'm trying to figure out what is going on. If you have any ideas or have come across a reliable and recent solution let me know.
Thanks!
