I have looked at many forums for this issue. I have an HTC EVO View tablet that came stocked with Honeycomb. The only issue I have with Honeycomb is the handsfree bluetooth calling. The fix I've seen is changing the build.prop to add
service.brcm.bt.ag_supported = 1
and changing the bt.profiles to 4270403.
This worked in theory, the handsfree profile showed up but the issue is it's still not connecting to the bluetooth. I also read a forum where someone stated they made the same fix but it fully worked with the Playstation 3 official bluetooth headset, but never expounded on the last question of this forum.
Does anyone have a full fix for this problem? I love Honeycomb and am not looking to flash to Gingerbread. Thank you in advance.
Any ROM based on GB worked great when streaming music or phone functions in my car. However, I've tried 3 different ICS ROMs and they all have the same problem. The phone and the car seem to pair just fine but when music starts to play I here a blip, three seconds of nothing, then another blip of music, repeat over and over. The text isn't coming over to the radio either like 2.3.6 did.
Is this a Kernel problem or just ICS in general? Currently I'm using Superlite 5.1 and mohan_kr kernel.
Could anyone shed some light on this for me?
Streaming music via bluetooth works fine for me on ICS...
Could you share which ROM and kernel you're using? Thanks for the reply
Bluetooth works fine for me pre beats audio.
Have not tried post beats audio yet

works for me after applying beats.
I was having a similar issue on MHX ICS superlite 5.0 rom. I have a Pioneer AVH-P3400BH headunit, and on ICS it would pair just fine but not send any text over. It would just say "No data provided" on the receiver.
I went back to 2.3.6 because of this and some other big issues I was having with ICS.
Hopefully this is fixed in the final build.
What music player are you using? For me, bluetooth performance took a major step up after installing ics. I can actually turn bluetooth off and on without it totally bugging out on me, and the sound quality increased a lot too.
I had no problems on UCLCA but the newer leak crashes with bluetooth for me.
Edit: I've tried both Sky ICS and NexusMOD UCLD2 versions and had same issue with both. Bluetooth crashes/buzzes/loses connection whenever I try connecting to my JVC Car stereo.
ucld2 has fixed everything for me. Even Google Music plays great and displays the track info on external displays.
I should add that I'm using ics ucld2 embryo-2.0 ROM and everything is working great.
Same issue here. I also noticed if i cleared cache and dalvik it would work until i went to another app or made a call.

Hi all.
After the ICS update the bluetooth stack broke to the point where we can't pair our bluetooth headsets to the TF101.
My question is, if I load a custom ROM on there, is this still an issue or do most of the custom ROMs have a working stack?
Thanks for any info.
Im currently running aokp but have run revolver cm9 arhd and frozen with all of them i could play ps1 and n64 etc with my ps3 controller for hours with no problems so bluetooth must be ok
I only use the bluetooth for the ps3 controlle so cant say for head sets etc
Currently on aokp hoping build 32 will convince me to stay
Thanks, but the PS3 controller works fine on stock too, just doesn't work with headsets.
Anyone using one with a custom ROM?
Thanks
I have Megatron rom and Guevnor kernel installed and I can connect my headset -GEAR4- sound during video playback in mxvideo player lags, but for music only this is obviously not a problem

So I have tried multiple CM10.1 and I keep having the issue that my mic wether on bluetooth or handset that Google Voice Search or Google Voice Commands do not detect my MIC when the phone is docked. But when I use the device undocked GVS/GVC works with both my handset mic and/or my BT mic. Anyone else having this issue? All the stock based roms I have used have not had this issue though.
Is the a CM-centric issue? If so where do I post this bug?
Currently using
Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR HD MAXX xt926
ROM: epinter's CM10.2 - has the issues above
Previous roms:
RageRom 1.2 and 2.2 xt926 - no issues
Official CM10.1 nightly - has the issues above
Official CM10 nightly - has the issues above
I've tried searching but I can't find any solution. since I've paired a plantronics M165 headset I got several problems like sudden restarts, WiFi tethering is not working, and the audio via Bluetooth sometimes cuts off.
I've read that it can be solving by switching from T-Mobile original stock rom, but I rather know if there is a applicable fix before that.
My system Rooted, S-IN with stock 4.1.1 and HBOOT 2.15
