So I have tried multiple CM10.1 and I keep having the issue that my mic wether on bluetooth or handset that Google Voice Search or Google Voice Commands do not detect my MIC when the phone is docked. But when I use the device undocked GVS/GVC works with both my handset mic and/or my BT mic. Anyone else having this issue? All the stock based roms I have used have not had this issue though.
Is the a CM-centric issue? If so where do I post this bug?

Anyone experiencing connection problems with ICON HD and ICS 4.0 ROMs ?
I have had it for a few month without any problems when I was running the stock ROM. Now I have flashed my phone to 4.0, and it cannot find the earpiece when searching for bluetooth device.
I have tried to download the official software for the ICON HD and updated to the latest version, but it still doesn't show up during Bluetooth search.
Anyone had a similar problem/experience?
Hi,
I got an impulse bluetooth controller (http://www.impulsecontroller.com/) for christmas but so far I failed to get it to work properly.
I am able to pair it with all the phones that are avaible to me but I can not get into the connected state with any custom rom I tried. Unfortunatly of course on stock rom it works. After searching and pairing the controller the stock rom displays "connected" on the entry in the bluetooth menu. none of the custom roms managed to get there.
so far:
atrix 4g: epinter cm10.2: paired not connected
razr xt910 slimkat: paired not connected
razr xt910 liquidsmooth: paired not connected
razr xt910 cm11 nightly: paired not connected
only thing that works
razr xt910 4.1.2 stock: paired and connected
If I can I would really prefer not to use the rather bloated and slow stock rom just to use that controller. what am missing here to fix this? is there anything I should install to make bt behave as it should?
thx
I just installed the latest CM unofficial build (cm-11-20140227-UNOFFICIAL-lt01lte) on my new SM-T315 and it's working well. LTE works (I'm on Fido in Canada). Both cameras are working. The only weirdness is the GPS toggle from the quick settings doesn't work, but the GPS itself appears to be working fine via Google Maps. I also installed the standard GApps via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
I flashed via TWRP 2.6.3.0 rather than the recommended PhilZ Touch recovery, but it seems to have worked just fine.
I don't have enough posts to comment in the development thread, but I just wanted to say thank you. Also considering I see so few posts from T315 (Tab 3 8.0 LTE) users, I think it's nice to see when people confirm something is working, so I thought I'd do the same.
Small update after a full day of usage:
The only nagging problem I have is that on calls, Bluetooth incoming audio is very quiet. My own audio is clear (I listen to my music via a stereo Bluetooth dongle), but on calls I can barely hear the other person. I've tried this with two different Bluetooth devices, both of which work on my old phone. I've noticed others have mentioned quiet audio as well. It doesn't bother me much because I don't have any shame in holding the tablet to my ear, but it's a caveat to anyone else if making calls via Bluetooth is important to you.
Other than that, everything else seems to be working very well.
Maybe someone knows something about this. Running cm 4.3.1 and currently I can view and hear incoming text messages via bluetooth in my car (ford sync). While running a kk rom although it asks to confirm bluetooth map access but I never see any incoming messages and settings indicate that my phone doesn't support this feature but of course it does since it works with 4.3.1 just fine. is this a known issue with kitkat?
Dear all,
i was searching the forums for similar threads already, but none are specific enough to my special problem :
Since CM 10.2 started to make unified builds for all MOTOROLA devices, i am suffering from serious problems on my XT897. I can connect and pair any BT device fine, but during using it all of a sudden bluetooth will switch from external BT speaker to the internal speaker of the phone, and this can't be switched back anymore.
In the recent CM 11 versions it will also sometimes not pair with the hands-free if i enter the car and have BT activated in the phone, i have to deactivate first in order to have it paired correctly, but this is acceptable to me.
I was using the last nightly built specifically for the XT897 for a long time still for exactly this reason, i need my phone for the job and it is a big problem if a customer calls me in the car with my hands-free, and all of a sudden the conversation is terminated (well, i can still hear the other guy on the speaker of my XT897, but that doesn't help while driving).
Is it possible that the BT modules used in all newer CM builds are sub-optimal for the XT897 ? If so, could anybody consider reverting back to the old BT module for the JBBL builds and/or the XT897 ?
I'm fighting with BT issues also with 4.4 roms (also previous version).
I have random cases where the other party either can't hear me, or I'm really quiet. They sound fine to me though.
Sometimes BT audio cuts out during a call, or the phone won't transfer the call to BT despite being paired. Tried multiple different headsets.
Would be nice to have it work like it should, I also need BT for work.

SOLVED: now running a stripped down 'stock' JB rom, with xposed for a few necessities.
No more BT call etc issues. Let me know if you want details.
