Hey guys, lately I've been flashing roms to find out the best one for me - obviously with "SmartFlash" enabled because it's S-ON - but after flashing a new ROM (though I can't remember what), after the HTC logo, it just restarts to a black screen with the notification on (it's plugged in).
Even restoring to my old working backup, it still does it. Is there something I am doing wrong? Please respond quickly, I have to use my phone for business regularly and being inactive is not so good.

It sounds like you may be having more going on then the rom. From the little you have said, it sounds like your hardware my now be causing additional issues. Have you checked YT for "How to's" for the device?

I have I tried doing this one that un-roots the device with Ace Hack...And It requires Usb Debugging but it's not on...
Frankly I don't see how you are going to get out of this one unless you go in there and find a way to press the vol down button, either by sticking a pin in your phone in that area or opening it up to get it pressed.
You cannot get into Fastboot or Recovery unless you do so.
You did not enable USB debugging so you can't input ADB commands during the boot-loop.
Is there an emergency reset button on this phone? (the HD2 had a small one in the back that could be used to hard reset the phone i believe).
Mine showed similar until I flashed the kernel.
Is it unlocked? S-On? S-off? Have you run a RUU to return to stock get debugging back? Have you tried flashing anything from fastboot? And...have you changed your incredibly undescriptive title?

Happy to see your responses, but unfortunately, there is no stock or custom rom available with me or on the net. Been to service center and explained them what happened, they are asking me to change Mobo for a cost, since the device lost its warranty. Just made my try to tell them to flash the required rom file and even boot files from recovery, but they denied to do so, due to some HTC rules.
The phone can very well enter in to fastboot and recovery.
When charging with power off, the battery % icon works well. Does it mean that system is intact and working but lost some of vital files???
If any body by chance come across a link to fine the rom for this model, pls share....
Thanks
Jay.

I spoke to HTC, the other day, and told them what happened...I simply argued that Mobo change should be in such cases where there is physical damage or I made S-off and over written the Nand partition. Since the S-on is very much present, and that that the boot-loader is showing all stock OS and firmware versions, why don't they just instruct the CC to flash the stock files once again. I told them that unless the CC receive an instruction from HTC, they cannot proceed forward. HTC was kind enough to understand and they instructed the CC to soft repair the set. Since there is not hardware tamper done and its only the software crash, they took the case upon my request.
Possibly my phone will be back in couple of days.....
Thanks for all the answers from your end....
Will update you once I receive the set soon....
Cheers

Hey everyone, I figured this was the right section to post a question, sorry if I was mistaken.
So I recently rooted my phone and tried to install a custom ROM on it, turns out the ROM I selected was probably for the wrong model or something because my screen was just black. So I booted into recovery to try and restore it on the ROM I backed up and it was gone so now I'm kinda ****ed on a phone for now, before I look into buying a new one I wanna see if there's any way I can resolve this and unbrick it.
When I turn the phone on it just loops the booting screen and when I boot into recovery it just has the droid dude with an exclamation mark on it then turns off and does the boot loop.
I was wondering if maybe there's a file I can put on an external drive and it will automatically restore back to stock like on other devices.
I've done a lot stuff like this to my PS3 just never tried it for my phone so I'm just hoping there's a method out there for me, please provide any feedback or questions about it, I'm just trying to get this resolved and I have no time really to research it because of work and a newborn baby plus you guys would know more about it than me so yeah. Thanks!

Since your phone still shows the OnePlus logo, all is ok. I think the worsest thing that will happen is, that you lose all your days.
I would say the best thing you can do is entering the flashoholics club. There are so many custom roms around here...
All steps you must perform are explained in this excellent thread:
