Aroma has a recovery compatible file manager. Google it.
Delete system Ui.apk and put the new apk in it.

basically all sensed rom (fly, apex, jaggyydzre) have less system memory.. so we can jus replace.. i dint burnt ma system.. cm i neva OC ma fone..
so what do u think the next option to change systemUI.apk?
Well, delete some system apks
Or if you're using mount2SD, symlink them to /app- system
Edit: sorry, your Rom comes with inbuilt scripts I assume...
Well, you can use fx file manager to symlink some system apps to /data.

what is symlink
Link is just shortcut, as you would say in windows.
For example, if /system /fonts is symlinked in /data /fonts, it means, fonts folder is present in /data but a link(shortcut )is created in /system.
When Android boots, it looks for font files in /system /fonts, but since we put a shortcut there, it sees the data /font files. Use is simple: we save space in /system
All scripts work this way symlinking apps from /data(your internal memory) to your /SD ext. ..thereby making android think that lots of space and apps is present in /data (when in reality, you have apps only in /SD ext. )
Better you delete system apps that you don't use(launchers /keyboards or anything else ) and create space in /system . Or you can simply convert them to data apps by moving them to /data and reboot. Or moving the system app to data and make a symlink in /system /app making android think that it's still a system app.
Test and try each time ~learn by experience
btw,you don't need to overclock to burn your nand. Simply using a overclocked kernel entitles to the risk of ?

Link2SD can do it.
Install it. Give super user permissions
.don't create mount scripts ~i.e.,when it asks for which partition ext2,3 or 4..
Don't select any. Don't press ok. Just cancel it.. you should be fine.. search for the least used app ~click convert to userapp. Good to go.

follow this steps from here:
2. Prepare your SD card, using MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition,
a. move all existing data on the SD Card to your PC and delete all files from it. RESIZE your existing FAT32 partition to a size where your unallocated space is at least 1GB but not more than 2GB.
b. Create a new ext4 Primary partition using all the unallocated space.
c. Apply changes
(I've written RESIZE in CAPS because when I tried deleting and creating the FAT32 and ext4, my phone didn't recognize the formatting as valid. So I allowed the phone to reformat the sd card and then did it using resize FAT32 instead)

Hey i just found the fix!
If you use Root Explorer, go to /system/app
You can see some memory info there just beside the "Mount r/w" button. Make sure the free space is more than what you are copying. Mine is 5 MB free, that causes a 6 MB file not to get copied. See if that helps. Free memory by deleting unused apps in the /app folder.

Before putting the sd card back, a friend of mine copied a few videos in his pc. I dont know what to do. It gets power on, after HTC logo it gets stuck at android sign animation no matter how long you keep it there. I dont know much about rooting. I have bought the phone from a stranger in the rooted condition. Plz help me.

The SD card has probably an ext partition and someone of your ROM data is on that. So removing card makes it unbootable.

Make a nandroid backup first(in recovery, go to backup and restore, click backup ).. copy your SDcard and that backup to your PC.
You can extract your needed data from that afterwards (not easy ~but if you're willing to spend some time, yes it'll work )

What to do after that? As I mentioned the phone gets stuck at the boot on htc android logo.
First take a nandroid backup, before you attempt any thing.
Next study adb and log cat(link in my signature )
Look @the log ~try to study what's the problem (if it's some file ,you can directly delete that file )
Alternatively, after nandroid, wipe everything install new Rom ~use apps like nandroid manager ,app extractor /titanium backup pro to restore your apps from the nandroid, you already took *You cannot restore apps ,that are moved to SDcard (the normal way in settings )~but you can restore thier data *

Problrm Solved
Its been a long time since I posted this thread but not too late to inform the community with the final outcome. It was really easy to get my phone alive as it only required FACTORY RESET which i did in the recovery mode and thats it. I didnt forget to make a back up prior to that. But I.decided to continue with the fresh state however i did get a few apps as they were before the reset.

Alright!
Here's the official statement:
Mount2SD/s2e/link2SD+kernel 3+ext4=bootstuck /no SD ext errors
Exchange any of the above 3 factors and you're good to go.
Try it.

Here's a question : I made a nandroid backup when I was using ext4 partiton...now if I format my card to a Ext3 partition and then try to restore that nadroid to the same card with new ext3 part. ...will that work?? ...Using TWRP 2.3.3.0

No luck yet...changed the partition to ext3...still m2sd not working...reverted back to ungaze...it has its own issues..so need to change the script soon..or would have to go back on cm9
(didn't want to change the kernel)

Try m2sd play version and change partition type to ext3 and try, if you haven't changed to cm9.
