Hi all!
In a process of unroot, I have a bricked GTab2 7".
I can go to Stock (3e) recover and Download Mode.
Attempted 'Install from SD card to flash a stock firmware gives 'Signature Verification Failed' error.
Device is detected by computer as I can see it in Device Manager as 'Samsung Android Phone' and have drivers install by Kies.
In Odin, it shows up as added device but there is no Yellow box - so no flashing is possible.
Any help will be appreciated!:fingers-crossed:
Edit: Please Ignore the post - it was only me - problem solved!

maybe a silly question. but you are in download mode when you are plugging it in to the pc and looking at odin? make sure kies is disabled and not running too.

No question is a silly question!
Ofcourse, I plug in to Odin in Download Mode. It shows as added and port number appears but big box doesn't turn to yellow which shows it as ready for flash.
Flash the recovery.. By rom manager , u can find it in play store and its for free

Install Kies. That is gonna install your USB drivers, but make sure Kies is NOT running during ODIN process.
Here is a more detailed tutorial how to root and install Custom recovery on S5670 fit

Thank you my friend but someone finally helped me and I managed to install CMW from stock recovery..
I have Samsung Galaxy Fit-S5670 with android 2.3.4.
Few days before i have rooted my device for some days. After that i unrooted it due to some problems occurring in it. The WiFi keep on always, and never switched off. Also unable to tether hotspot.
USB connection also not working with windows 7 PC. It keeps on saying "USB not recognized", also installed drivers, but nothing happened.
Now I tried to install CyanogenMod 10 using recovery mode. It said "Successful" but my device is not starting, samsung screen is coming and next "Android . . . " is coming . nothing further is happening.
Please anybody help me.

IT seems to me that u tried to instal cm10.1 with stock recovery( isn't it). if u did u probably soft bricked ur device.. if not if u hv installed cwm recovery 5 by tj style using odin multi downloader...then tried to install cm10.1 then wipe data and try installing the rom again....
Second; if u hv stock recovery + soft bricked ur device and u cannot connect to ur computer then probably u hv no choice but to goto local mobile repair center... in your device the charging ic may have been damaged which will they replace for rs.200/- and flashing ur device back to normal will cost u rs.200/- extra....using their circuits..something z-box....
third; if u went to authorised samsung care they will blindly charge u rs.4000/- for changing motherboard and messing up the software...which noboy wants.. or ucan makeup a story and fool them and replace ur motherboard if under warranty...
fourth; try to check with local mobile repairwallah and u can yourself flash stock rom at local internet cafe...and then root then instal cwm5 recovery then install diifferent roms for our device.....
take care..:good: luck

can you go to download mode? ( try power+volumeDown+home keys). if you can then simply flash a stock firmware from samfirmware.com via odin.
if you can't go to download mode then take a look at this conversation:

HI Guys,
I tried rooting and flashing CWM in my fiancee mobile (Samsung Galaxy core GT-i8262,Indian version). I rooted the phone successfully and Iflashed CWM using adb method using some guides here. But after flashing |cWM, i tried rebooting in to CWM recovery and recovery came fine. But When I select "Reboot to System" from CWM, it again rebooting to CWM only.. I thought I soft bricked my phone and tried to flash the stock firmware via odin.
But I shocked by seeing the USB drivers are not recognized by PC. I can see yellow mark in Samsung USB CDC Composite devivce" .. So ODIN also not recognizing my phone...
Can you guys help unbricking my phone.. I can go to download mode using CWM recovery. But My problem is USB error...
Kindly help.. any help would be appreciated.
PS: I tried unstalled the drivers in Device manager, installed again, tried rebooting my PC, tried installing again the USB drivers, tried Installing Samsung kies.. but still the yellow mark is showing.. Once the USB issue fixed, I can flash the firmware my self... Thanks in Advance....
hi man...
i face the same thing
1-download drivers for your core gti8262
2-install it on your pc
3-down and install odin
4-conect your phone in download manager
5-now reinstall the cwm recovery
6-install the rom u want from your sdcard in the cwm recovery
7-boot your phone and all done
so sorry for my bad en language..
Try to Connect with different usb cables! I think the prob is with ur cable. If it's not u will need a USB Jig to boot into Download mode,U can find it online & purchase it from abroad. -Hope it helps!
Hello,
I need your help because I'm in real trouble.
Before I hard bricked my phone I was on the latest version of the Tyrannus Rom.
I wanted to install Xposed but I picked the wrong version.
I flashed it but I got a boot loop.
So i've downloaded the latest stock Rom from Sammobile and tried to flash it with Odin.
Odin got an error and f*cked up my download mode.
Now I'm stuck with a bricked phone with no download mode.
I only got this message on the download mode : "Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software."
Wich I did.
It downloaded the software and tried to install it but got an error at the begining of the instalation after the download.
After that I restarted it and the download mode was working, so I've tried again to install the stock firmware and didn't worked.
This was the error it gived me : "cm sw rev check fail device 4 binary 3"
Please help me.
"Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software." With This message you can stil flash rom with odin emergency...= download mod its the same or flash latest twrp recovery go inside recovery connect your phone copy past custom rom flash it ...its not bricked if it says use emergency message its just saying flash me with odin easy

How can i go about flashing my device if my PC wont recognise my phone. I've tried everything.
What is the situation you have is there any message or can you turn it on or can you recovery mod or download mod ?
Force it into download mode and do it again, worked for me

Hi so I get the message saying " an error occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software" however i cannot get my PC to recognise my device. I have tried 6 different cables, 3 different laptops used 3 different ODIN software versions, removed kies removed and installed drivers, been into my laptop BIOS to disable 3.0 usb drivers also done this through the power saving options. Only thing I have not tried is using a 32bit computer. Surely there is a away to get my laptop to recognise this phone as i used this laptop to screw it up in the first place.
I can get it into download mode, but i cannot get it into recovery mode.
The PC shows a message saying "USB device not rocognised. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it."

Yeah I would just flash it, my issue is it will not connect to the PC. For me to flash it or transfer any image to then internal memory i need to have the laptop recognise my device connected. If i had a removable SD card i could just put TWRP on this and go into recovery but the s6 doesnt have this feature either.
I have no idea what to do. I was hoping someone would have a resolution that i have not yet tried and could get my PC to recognise the phone connected.

Try to delete USB drivers and reboot install them again
That Binary Check problem mostly means you're trying to downgrade the firmware. Look for the latest version from fw.updato.com and flash it.

Best thing to do is flash stock rom via odin and start again - this will wipe the phone and restore stock firmware
You will need
odin
your phones firmware
usb cable
samsung usb drivers
a windows pc
Best search your device specific xda forum for firmware and how to's or you can get firmware via the sammobile website
Can't I flash a zip file...
How to flash firmware ... Through Odin can you elaborate
Which file is needed for that... I know how to flash recovery but not firmware

Either
1 - you have not put your phone into download mode and pressed vol up to start connection
2 - you have not installed the samsung usb drivers
http://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
if everything in odin is working you will see com:number in a coloured box under com:id on the left hand side of odin when your device is connected
The com:5 is visible ...
Kies is also not detecting my phone
I'll try after installing drivers
Not able to flash !!!
