If you have a rooted/custom Rom. Go to Playstore and download GooManager. Once it is downloaded, open it up, allow root rights', then go to the menu and click "Install OpenScript Recovery." It will flash the latest TWRP for you.

[APP] Recovery Installer - flash CWM with a Click

Dear users, to help you I just build app a small app called RecoveryInstaller which allow you to easily install the ClockWorkMod Custom Recovery. Here you are:
It should not have problem, I just tested it.
Hope you will enjoy your root now, and, why not, switch to Revolver.
PS: I don't take any responsibility if Recovery Installer causes any damage!
Thanks Roach2010 for his CWM recovery version.
I cant do anything untill recovery is there right ?

Yes, you should click the button and the Superuser app will ask for permissions. Then the tablet reboots and to enter it you have to keep the Volume - key pressed and when it the TF writes "Booting into recovery" on the screen press Volume + once

These warnings were referred to the fact that the blob may contains the kernel blob. I checked the blob i put in RecoveryInstaller, and it doesn't have the kernel inside it. So there is no danger.
Recovery installer worked, reboot to recovery worked, now downloading rom so I can backup/install.

I think he mean his RecoveryInstaller only flash recovery, it does not install boot.
Maybe his wording could be a little better.

Recovery and H-Boot

Hello, first of all I'm a super newbie on this A have a bunch of questions.
-I tried to root my HTC evo 3d 3 or 4 days ago and i did it without any issues. Then installed Cyanogen Mod 10.4 (jellybean) on my device. Now i want to update it to Cyanogen Mod 11. Does it woth it? or should I stay in my current version.
-I read the threat about Cyanogen Mod 11, it seems i need to install TWRP first, my current recovery mod is ClockworkMod v6.0.0.0. Is there anything else before i install TWRP or can I just downlaod it and then install like Clockwork?
My H-Boot is 1.49.9999

Did you flash your recovery via fastboot? Easiest way to flash TWRP 2.7 will be using "flashify" from the play store. it has got a built in feature to download the right recovery for your phone, and automatically flash it after download
May be you just read the (whole) thread about your suggested rom before installing it "blind"

I tried the flashify, i was just able to flash TWRP 2.7 on my phone. But i need 2.6.3.0 (or any other recovery with SELinux support)
but cant downlaod it via flashify. So i downloaded it manually and tried to flash by using cmd and fastboot. Then I just get the "too many links" error. Can't fix it, cant find a solution that works on me..

If that doesn't work its getting a little complicated. Means you have to install a <4.4 rom and install 4ext updater (installs 4ext recovery) from plystore and then you ca install >4.4.
Updating HBOOT will not help!

RROS. It Gets Updated The Most.
You Should Flash 5.8.3 RROS First Before RROS 5.8.4
And Also If You Dont Clear Cache And Stuff After Flash, 5.8.3 It Wont Boot
If You Flash RROS 5.8.4 FIRST, You Will Get Black Screen
Also RROS Feeeeeeeeeellllsss So Much Faster Than EMUI Because They Dont Have Alot Of Default Apps
You Will Absolutely See A Difference In Speed

Unlock the bootloader using Mi unlock tool. Flash Peter's TWRP using fastboot command. Reboot to recovery. Flash Magisk. Reboot. You should be rooted.

unlocking bootloader is necessary and during unlocking the bootloader your phone must be formatted and your data will lost you and internal too.
so you have to backup all your data and music and whatever you are keeping.
Ater unlocking you have to flash PTWRP from the fastboot command and imultaneously boot to TWRP then flash magisk and done your phone is now rooted.
Your data will be lost.
