[Completed] bricked htc droid incredible 4g

i have a htc droid incredible 4g. i was rooting it through this guide.
Team Infernal FakeCid AUTOMATIC bootloader unlock
i followed it step by step completing it until i reached to step to change the values with hex editor. i think i have changed the wrong values so when i came to end to enter " start a new one and type "adb reboot bootloader" " the phone restarted and wouldn't turn back on in no way. it wont vibrate, go to bootloader or the led wont come on when charging. i would like to bring it back to stock. i live in jamaica so i cannot carry it to htc. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Did you make sure that your Battery has a charge. It is possible that if you started the process with less than a full battery, you may have completely discharged the battery. Plug the device in for a while. Then see if you can Boot it up. If you can Boot into Fastboot Recovery, and run the RUU. I take it that you are on Verizon ? That your device is the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE correct ? If so you can find the RUU to take it back to completely Stock in the link below.
As always read, read, and reread the thread / posts before doing anything.

What you are seeing on the PC / Laptop with the Device not connected are the drivers for when you connect your device. If you cannot get into Fastboot then it is most likely Bricked. I would suggest checking out THIS THREAD. Lastly you can try posting HERE in the Droid Incredible Q/A section to see if anyone can further assist you.

[Help!] Sensation XE JTAG

Hello,
I have a RIFF Box and an Adapter for sensation XE.
I tried to resurrect and rewrite all. I've tried once to do with s-off and once without. The flashing itself went straight, no log errors in riff.
However, the phone is still bricked upon assembling it. When I connect the phone to the PC via usb, it is still appearing as qhsusb_dload under device manager. (with riff driver it's named Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM16))
I've also tried this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775115 and everything went straight. The problem is, after I assembled the phone, it is not being charged or responding to entering hboot.
please help.

EDIT: I've tried few things, long story short: it was a hardware failure. I took my friend's old sensation xe which was bricked also and because his phone was in bad shape, I took only the motherboard, JTAGed it, and the magic happened. Everything works.

try with a different battery if you have
or charge the device without battery, sim and sdcard for 4-5 hours
put them back and try to switch on the device

I'm guessing @bitdomo He hasn't posted on XDA since December 1st. Hoping he's just busy because I'd really like to see if he can fix the qhusb brick without a riff box.

Just messaged him. Just thought i should post here to let others know.
"Hi i have a water damaged nexus 5 which can boot (but dead lcd and digitizer) and is fully functioning when normally turned on. (Can hear notifications, and is detected normally). However, when its at the bootloader its detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. (twrp was installed, but cant get into it).
I want to sell it for parts but I have no way of doing a factory reset to remove my data from it. How do i know my data is still on there? Because i was able to get into the storage and get my photos, music, etc from it when it booted normally (before digitizer died, after lcd died).
If i am of any help, just reply. If not, then im sorry."
Hopefully my "bricked?" nexus can help the community and myself cause currently its a brick.

Water damaged is different.. That's physical damage. Can't reverse that with software

So.. my data is trapped on that nexus... and its of no use...
Just was wondering cause it had the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 issue.
Would you say it safe to sell that phone for parts even though it has personal contacts and my debit card on it? I think i had a pattern lock on it (but lets just say i didnt), would you think they would be able to access that data?
It depends how determined they are. Plus i doubt its worth anything due to the damage. I'd scrap it info were you.

I have something working. I can read and write partitions when phone is in qdloader 9008 mode, but before publishing I want to test it on some real hard bricked nexus to make it sure it works.
Edit: Tested. I bricked and unbricked my device a few times. I am making a thread about it in the General forum.

Flashed wrong bootstack/modem, Pls HELP unbrick m8

Hi there,
I accidentally flashed (inside twrp) my HTC m8 with a bootstack/modem of a different phone (39a,LG G2). I'm pretty embarrassed about it, didn't mean to do it...I thought I was following instructions to install a new rom for the m8,except I was in the wrong forum..
details: in TWRP I flashed the wrong file, then went on to install a new rom and an error appeared: this is not vs980, this device is m8wl...so I thought, what? strange....
I turned off the phone (without realizing yet what happened. Sorry, stressful couple of weeks) and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't. No matter how long I held the power button, or power and vol down. It will not go in download mode, neither detect it is plugged in to charger or a computer. Basically totally off without any response.
My question: is there any way possible to resuscitate this phone? please help me! any advice is appreciated.
before I had the m8 with s-off,rooted,with a 5.1 rom installed.
Thank you in advance!!!

thanks for the help so far guys!
Here's another funny thing. After a few attempts of plugging it in to a computer, it was recognized and it showed up in the device manager. The phones still did not turn on though. Additionally it seems that the phone is seen as an LG model (even though it's not), but I am not sure yet. I will get the HTC drivers installed, and if it doesn't work, I will try the LG drivers.
by the way, isn't there a way to flash the correct modem/bootstack with ones of those kits? i also remember from downloading the wrong LG G2 modem/bootstack that it didn't come with fastboot in it.
I will try a few things and report it back.
thanks again,

If your device doesn't light the power button but for a single flash when you try to power it on your board is toast.
If it shows up in device manager as a qusb bulk device the board is toast.

I got it to be recognized on a computer again, and windows installs a driver. The name of the device is forge hs-usb qdloader 9008.
I tried the all in one 2.0 kit, adb sideload, etc but anything I try I get a "device not found".
I think I am giving up unless someone finds a way to unbrick this kind of severe problem in the future. I also researched a bit on google, and there's a way to unbrick the LG G2 when it's seen as forge hs-usb qdloader 9008, which is known as a board unbrick. I found nothing for the HTC m8 though.
We tried all we could Thanks all for the help, it's very much appreciated! You guys are the best and this forum is awesome. I also ordered a new phone...and I will root it too

Might be completely wrong on this.
Wouldn't he be able to JTAG the appropriate boot image back onto the device?
Also, I know we had a hard brick recovery for the S3 back in the day. Worked consistently on full hard brick's.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2581166
Isn't it possible to dump a debrick image from a working device and follow the guide with that? I know the two devices are completely different, but the premise is the same.
My technical know-how isn't anywhere near your level, just thought I'd throw these ideas out there is case it hasn't been thought of yet. I'd be happy to put together a guide on how to do this if it can work on the M8.

[Completed] Possibly hard bricked Moto xt1060 Vzn

I Just attempted a root on my xt1060 vzn moto x and i think i hard bricked it. I was supposed to update the Qhsusb_dload drivers on my windows 7 yet i didn't find them. At this point my device was turned off an i had no way of getting it back on, no fastboot or anything. The green led light will light up when its plugged in and i hold the power button for a while. When i plug the usb and phone into the pc it will briefly show up as Qhsusb_driver in the device manager then switch to Relink HS USB QDloader 900. If there is any hope for my device and someone could share it that would be greatly appreciated. If someone could post a solution you are a lifesaver.
