Hi!
Well, we all know that android has toons of players, ones are pretty good, others are a shame, poweramp is a famous one, which sound is pretty good, but is it still the best overall?
I know that in aspect there are many players better than poweramp, but in terms of sound quality, is there any better than him?
Thanks!
I had tried poweramp, playerpro with dsp pack and much more....
But best one is SONY's WALKMAN + clear audio by team AC!D...
It is best player for my phone

hi, can you please send me the .apk that you use for sony walkman? I cant find the app in the google play
I've only tried a few, but I do think Poweramp is the best. I gladly paid for it & didn't look back. It's very customizable & can play almost any sound file you throw at it.
yeah, i tried to buy it, but after I confirmed the amount to pay, the site showed me a message with the following text: "service temporarily unavaiable, try again later" or something like that... and I'm afraid of doing the same again and they take my money without giving me the app... so i'll wait to see the movement on my account after doing the process again

Hmm.. We can discuss there.. But anyways stock earphones (i use) work quite well and produce balanced sound.. After activating voodoo sounds...and some equalizer tweaks...

Believe me, the i9103 stock headphones are not really good. The Galaxy S ones are way better.
I have tested lots of different models. Stock headphones are usually crap. Unless you go above 25$ aftermarket you won't get any advantage with voodoo driver, as it is impossible to notice being narrowed to a small freq range. That's why I was surprised at that EQ curve.

The only decent ear pieces you can get on that price range is still creative ep-630 i guess. But If you can go I little higher and find a good deal go for Tekfusion Twinwoofer. I got a set for 1200INR but its got much costlier now. For me it beats Sennheiser cx-180 maybe even cx-300 atleast on the highs and the mids. The lows however could be a bit better. Trust me it gives a real punching bass.
But remember you need to burn those for atleast 100 hours before you start judging it. The burn in guide comes along it.
Sorry Vikesh could not resist myself

Never heard any audio player that can handle that good as poweramp it's limit setting makes the audio being always good even if you max eQ bass or anything else. However many audio player doesn't have that as "default" so you need to experiment to make it sound good due to no audio limitation/reduce of bad sound

Viper4Android is by far the best IMO. It's a much easier install than AC!D as well. Beats(even Awesome Beats) was always garbage to me. Especially compared to AC!D/Viper4Android.

I've decided to give a try to the Beats Audio™ PRO that used before on my N7 which is now outdated on playstore...if you find it and it works for you it is night and day compared to the original output. There is no equalization but IMO there is no need to. You can still play with EQ with your music player (I use poweramp). I've tried several DSP managers (downloaded, integrated in custom roms, etc...) but nothing comes close this mode. The only inconvience - you need to be root.

Viper works, I highly recommend if using with a good IRS. Works great on my Nexus 5!! Best audio mod I've used.
Okay. I had installed beats on a previous phone awhile ago and wasn't at all impressed. The EQ in poweramp was good enough. However, seen this thread today and figured I'd give viper a shot being as how a couple people recommended it. Well, I am quite impressed. I've tried it on phone speaker and Bluetooth and it definitely offers an improvement, especially on Bluetooth. Hopefully, it is just as good on the headset, haven't been able to test it out yet. But yeah, definitely worth installing.
