We have a lot of Android 4.2.2 ROMS out there for our Acer A510/511s
My question is which of the three is the best and most stable one?
[A510][ROM][4.2.2] AOKP JB-MR1 Build 5
official AOKP build, I currently have this, very responsive, clean Android 4.2.2 ROM without any major problems
[A510/A700][ROM][4.2.2][AOKP/CM/PA/PIE] Vanilla RootBox Nightlies [UNOFFICIAL]
CM, AOKP, PA(?available for A510) and PIE(?available for A510)
[A510][ROM][4.2.2] IcOdiv based on CyanogenMod 10.1 for Acer A511/510

Guess he meant 4.1.2
The best ROM
IcOdiv based on CyanogenMod 10.1 - The fastest and best ROM. + TabletUI, + the CPU overclock to 1500, GPU - 600.

You could also overclock cpu and gpu yourself and TabletUI is included in AOKP, so what is the great difference?
How can I OC CPU and GPU?
There is a couple of apps out there for that:
SetCPU
Voltage Control Extreme
AnTuTu CPU Master Pro
CPU Control Pro
ROM Toolbox Pro
Anfo Premium
Don't know if they all work, never tried to overclock. I don't think its too good for the battery.
Need to know
To overclock the processor must have a kernel with overclocking. In AOKP is no such kernel.

Sorry for my bad english.

OC causes an immidiate restart, and the settings are not set. Funny, because I had this same problem with Metallice's CM9 kernel.

I have the same issue
Going back to original CM10 Kernel
I'll build one that uses higher voltages, you could have devices with less tolerance...
Overclock works fine for me. No issues on this kernel so far. Nice work

No issues
I love this kernel, stable, and graphics are butter smooth , thank you. How do i over clock my GPU btw ?
GPU is stock overclocked to 384MHz
Should i use setcpu for this kernel?

PROFILES. Profiles change various settings of the governor based on various triggers.
Just use the performance section of settings. Down at the boftom, just above "about tablet"

I do not know English well!
know if there is a kernel for overclocking with stock rom?
What is the best version Kernel marmite to cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly?
Or i can find another kernel bether to use with cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly?
The latest one 7.2.3 CM.
Gesendet von meinem Nexus S mit Tapatalk 2
You could try lastest marmite 7.2.3 CM, or you could also try Matr1x 24.5 or Airkernel r4.
Results from phone to phone will vary, so it's something you need to test by yourself
Hey,
Just a short questin
What rom + kernel combo whould you(you all) prefer or use?
and why?
Thanks for answ!
I actually have the same question. Mine is stock right now, I have everything downloaded for CM 10.0 and wondering if it is the same 4.1.1 that I'm on? Thanks for any answers that come!
AW: [Q] Which rom would you prefer/use?

with stock kernel? stock voltages?
I wanted to ask this same question. Currently on CM10.1 Nightly (03/02) and I really like it, quite stable.
But I want to know what the fastest/nicest/smoothest ROM you guys have experienced or are currently rocking on the Nexus S.
I'm happy with slim bean 4.2.2
After 4 days, my battery was still 30%
Silencers automic gb 5.0 ^^ plus doomkernel v22

nice I'll test it :fingers-crossed:
Now I'm testing xylon but after change something in the camera settings, the galery fc..
Testing HellyBean now
Helly Bean with kernel included as some said before. Row-Interactive OC at 1,3GHz
I am running Xylon 4.2.2 with the Devil kernel and it appears to be very responsive stable and smooth. I have tested it's performance and am not dissapointed. Xylon by itself (stock kernel) is barely able to load, but is fast with the kernel flash over... I use it as my daily driver, no worries as of yet.
Battery?

How long does your battery holds on Helly Bean? And do you have a stock battery or you buy a better one?
Is there a link?

Hello XDA community,
i have a short question : Why is the no Kernel development for our N8000 ?
There are brilliant Kernels for the N8010, but none for our device,
I wanted to start collecting donations for the N8000 Kernel- development ( Boeffla Kernel with GPU Control) but there were no responds.

Xcstacy kernel is under development again. And he's trying to merge GPU control, still has issues, but stay tuned.

I would like to get great kernels for my device. I have tested the latest. Xcstacy kernel but the performance of it is very bad for me the stock kernel was better.
Try boeffla. It is for n80xx

My Samsung Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5113) is very laggy at an Antutu score of 16000 I'm running ResurrectionRemix v5.7.4 over clocked with the CPU and GPU to the max. Is anyone else is having performance issues?
That's the limit of the tab bud, either deal with it or buy a new one
Hi, which kernel do you use to overclock? Dhollmen isn't working on any of the newer roms (i'm currently also on ResurrectionRemix v5.7.4)

You could use Android Andi's AnyKernel but I haven't noticed any better performance.
