it is not fake I am using it and everything works fine is version 11.0.A.5.8 from vodafone
Can it be used on any network or is it just for Vodafone

But wat is confusing is that it isnt shown officially on Sony website and seus said phone is carrying modified software!!...altho evrything works okay

Get the UnlockRoot. There's a free version to download.
Uncheck the toolbars in the install.
Worked in my Xperia J with 11.0.A.7.8 firmware without downgrade.
Can I sim unlock an Xperia J purchased from the UK by flashing another firmware?? I dont care about warranty.

I don't think that can be done since to flash firmware using flash tool u need an unlocked BL to unlock bl u need to unlock sim
So u need to go to or service provider to unlock sim and also u might need to pay for it

Well there is a way... but I haven 't tried it since I can't root my Xperia J for now...

I just downloaded the 0.47 fw for Xperia E to flash it but the flashtool isn't detecting it...
Any solution?

Yes. I have other firmwares too. It detects them but not 0.47
