Hello!
My sister dropped this SE WT19i phone and after that it stopped working. It doesnt power on, the led's not showing anything while charging nothing! Everything is dead. Only thing that happens is that Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM7) shows up in the device manager.
I've googled and it looks like its "hardbricked" is there any way to bring this phone back to life? I tried changing the battery, since the other one gave me 0.0000 volts when cheching it with a multimeter. Now its giving me a steady 3,6 volts but it still doesnt turn on.
I cant seem to connect it with any Flashtool. It's like every software is gone in the phone :/
Help very appreciated! Thanks!

Sorry for the weird title but I went on a road trip up the coast of australia and 5 days in my phone just turned off at about 30% battery and wouldn't charge, no charge icon or anything. Before this it had been turning off or freezing randomly. It was rooted with CM, I took it to this guy in a small town who did phone repairs, indian, and he knew a bit about rooting and stuff, he put the battery onto a volt meter (is that what it's called?) and said there's enough juice that it should be showing that it's charging on the screen or start so he reckons it's bricked. Then he said he doesn't have the tools for un bricking (I thought once a phone is bricked it's ****ed though? and also I thought bricking happens during flashing of roms or kernels and not just during use?)
The only theory I can think of is that I was using a 2.1amp car charger, what do you guys think?
Thanks

It depends on your definition of "brick".
If you mean it doesn't boot up after flashing something, that is simply a "non-boot" or "bootloop".
If it does not power up at all, charge, or get to the boot phase, then that is likely a "brick".
Does it show up at all when you plug it into a computer via USB? Does any new device show up in Device Manager? (e.g. Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008, QHSUSB_BULK) Also make sure your drivers are correctly installed.

yeah it doesn't power up, charge or get to the boot phase I just thought it's weird that it didn't happen while doing something like flashing a kernel, I was just using hangouts. And no it hasn't come up when I plug it into the computer.
Thanks for the info, I guess it's bricked :/ could you offer any explanation as to why? Does it just happen?
How's the logic board, fried?

The most important queston was not answered. When you connect the phone to your PC do you see any new device appear in device manager? Like Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 or LGE androidnet... under the Ports title or qhsusb_bulk under the other devices title. If you dont see any of those or any other device upon connecting then it is true brick.
The exact same thing happened to me last week!
at first it would show the blinking red light when charging but now not even, though it sometimes gets hot.
it does not show up on the device manager.

Sorry I thought you meant if it comes up in devices and printers... Sorry haha, but no nothing comes up :/ it had a loose usb port and I haven't touched it in 2 weeks so I don't even know if it's charging or charged enough to come up or if it just doesn't come up, I'll let it charge for a good day or so but thanks, is there anything else I can do? replace the battery? I really loved it, I was in the middle of nowhere when it happened so I got an lg g3 and tbh, I don't like it haha

Well at this point it can be just a broken usb port on the phone or the whole motherboard is just a trash. You should see a new device appearing even wihtout having a battery.

I don't think so, opened it up looks all good, I would post a picture except I can't use my camera on my lg g3 at 5% even when it's plugged in! ..

i was watching a video and the feed cut out because wifi disconnected and refused to reconnect, stuck "turning on". The phone was a bit hotter than usual but not alarmingly so. l
eft it charging overnight and in the morning it was completely off and wouldnt turn on again.
I have now learnt my lesson - never flash firmware onto a phone after 1am! A tired brain can make simple mistakes far too easily. In this case, I accidentially flashed a version of TWRP 2.8.2.1 meant for a D800 onto my T-Mobile D801. So now the phone just sits at the LG logo with the LED slowly pulsing diferent colours until the battery runs out.
I have now gone through every thread I could find on this forum, as well as other places, about unbricking G2s. I tried opening the phone and shorting the test pins, as shown here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Muvcw5eVwH4 Visually not much changed on the phone, although now it seems to sit with the LED on red most of the time. I don't seem to be able to make it go into Download Mode, as it still sits at the LG logo (or is that normal with D801s?). I'm wondering if maybe I should try the shorting method again, but without rdisconnecting the battery this time.
Plugging the phone into a Windows 7 PC via USB, it installed two two devices, "LGE ANdroidNet USB Modem" and "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port". This seems to indicate that the device isn't quite totaly bricked.
Any idea where I should go from here? TIA

I had in fact tried several times unsuccessfully to use the method in that YouTube video to make the phone go into Download mode. However, this was not possible, as in this particular brick mode the phone never actually turns off. It stays in that mode until the battery runs out and then resumes in the same mode when there's any more charge in the batery.
I was eventually able to break it out of this mode by opening up the back of the phone and flipping up the battery connector (with the battery already charged). I then inserted the USB jack and held down the volume-up button, while reconnecting the battery connector, to power-on the phone. This trick made the phone go into Download mode and I was able to reinstall the stock firmward kdz file via the LG flash tool, as shown in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Hello,
so here's what happened: I got a fully working N5 with 16GB and a 32GB version which has a broken screen.
Today I tried to replace the logicboard of the 16GB version with the one built into the 32GB one.
The phone didn't start up, neither it reacted to getting plugged into a charger (usb pc & wallcharger both didn't do anything).
I came to the conclusion that the logicboard of my 32GB N5 must be broken aswell, so I put the original 16GB logicboard back in.
The phone booted up normally when all of the sudden it just turned itself off after 5 minutes.
Since then it doesn't start up anymore. Having it plugged in into the charger doesn't do anything either.
I've already tried to get it into bootloader etc but nothing works.
The phone simply doesn't turn on anymore.
When I had it plugged in on my pc I once got a NON-flashing red light, but it seems like I can't reproduce this.
Any ideas?
It would be nice if there is anybody who could help me with my problem.
Swapping the logic board shouldn't prevent the v phone from booting unless something happened during the swap process.
When connect to a windows computer, do you see anything about qhusb load in device manager?

After holding the powerbutton + vol up + vol down "QHSUSB_BULK" popped up
That type of "device" is an indication of a hard brick. Disconnect and reconnect without touching anything on the phone. If you see something similar with 9008 in the device name, it could be a soft brick.
After installing a driver it showed up as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. Followed a tutorial using "BoardDiag" to unbrick the device. unfortunately the device remains "dead", no sign of life
:crying:
After having it appear as a "...9008" in your computer, disconnect it from the computer and leave it alone for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, try and boot to the bootloader.
Hi,
Some time ago mine htc just shut down. I was watching youtube, phone slow down, screen fade out and phone shut down. When i plug usb orange led blik once and pc see phone like Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008.
Anybody have idea what went wrong and is there way to fix it?
Same problem for me, tried vol- + power, but nothing happened, tried to charge, only orange led lights up for 2 sec. or so, when i plug it in the computer, orange led lights up for 5 seconds and in device manager its under Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)

Hi, i have the same question , have you repaid it ?what did you do ?
No, unfortunate it look like motherboard is dead. Only solution is new motherboard.
Good morning to all,
my sister's XT1032 died yesterday morning after some random reboot. When I put on charge led remains white and fixed. I try with holding power and vol- for more than 2 minutes but nothing, I tried to remove battery for some minutes without any success https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZhAabwi24M
I just want to recover pics, what can I do?
Hm... By the symptoms you described... And removing the battery didnt' help...
A hard brick, it is. You should go to this thread and follow the tutorial.
Thanks, I will surely try. What do you think about this http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/moto-g-xt1033-fix-dead-battery-t3510296 ?
Don't think this has to do with the battery.
If you connect the phone to your computer and it's recognised as "qhsusb_dload" or "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008", then it's definitely hard bricked. Otherwise, no idea. It might be the battery
