This download is about Sense 5 sounds: ringtones, notifications and alarms from the even released HTC One.
Files are grabbed by my mate Ty as I'm still on my Elegancia boosted Xe. Please be aware, this is not a flashable zip.
So have fun with them!

assuming that you would just flash this .zip from recovery? is that correct?
does it replace any sounds, or just add to what you already have?
thanks

No, that is not a flashable zip. You need to extract the the zip file and copy the folders (alarms, notifications, ringtones,ui) to SD card root.
If you know ADB then you can push the audio files to system/media/audio.
It adds to your current sounds.

Got tired of not having my DROOOOIIIIDDDDD notification sound plus a few others. Decided to whip up a pack for all that are in the same boat.
------------with root----------
Download the .zip and flash like normal
This will add about 20 or so sounds to both notification and ringtone.
this pushes sounds to /system/media if for some reason your ever on a rom that pulls sounds from else where this obviously wont work.
----------without root ---------------
You can unzip this file. Look inside system folder & copy media folder to root of SD card. These will show up now when choosing ringtones & notifications.
------------fine print ----------------
And like always you assume all responsibility. (this has been tested.)
Think that dots all the t's and crosses my i's

If you would like another way to install just the ringtones you want here is what I did.
I opened the zip file with 7zip, I moved just the files I wanted out of the archive to . I put them in my dropbox and downloaded them onto my phone. I then moved them using astro file manager to my media file on my sd card. Putting them on my sd card also allows me to keep them even when I change roms.

Congrats on post #1
and on that note I added a poll to the thread. Please vote everyone!
Drrrrrrrrooooooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiid
thanks man, I was looking for these. I don't know why the Thunderbolt didn't receive DROID branding as a flagship Verizon phone, but I couldn't have this phone without my DRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID tone haha.
I tried to ask the question in the appropriate thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28015542&postcount=27
But that thread got LOCKED and a redirect was posted to a "general" thread for further discussion but that given thread doesn't seem to be "Device Specific" to the TF300T, thus I'm not inclined to post my question there.
Can anyone answer this as in if Beats Audio will work on stock-rooted us.30 (Not unlocked), and post the exact install method so I don't end up "bricking"?
Thanks.
It's a flashable zip, so you can't install it if you aren't unlocked.

I understand it couldn't be flashed, however, there was mention of the possibility to "extract" the .zip and manually overwrite system files but it was never confirmed so I am basically asking if this method would work... :fingers-crossed:

Works fine, all I did was put /system from the zip on my sdcard and used a root explorer to merge it with the real /system. Just looks like a glorified DSPManager without as many options and BEATS written all over it, but it works...

Curious, Did you back up any system files first? And did you have to change permissions on any of the copied files?

Nope, just dropped them in, if you want back up any system files that get replaced (if there are any, I didn't check), but you can always just pull them from a stock ROM if necessary. For your other questions, I have no idea, all I saw was the Awesome BEATS app, I figured that was all it was. I'll look at it.
Edit: found the Music effects option, right under Sound in the settings. Switched from MusicFX to Awesome BEATS.

Thanks for the follow-up. I just now copied them again/rebooted as I didn't see any of the new files in /system... This time it worked! I have both the App and the mentioned Settings which I've also switched to Awesome BEATS.
Now to play a little and see how this works. I think it is designed to have best effect (sound quality improvement) using BT and/or headphones but I could be wrong.
Hi,
I actually using Android Revolution HD 6.8.0 on my Sensation.
i tried to replace the official htc bootanimation by the portal 2 bootanimation and audio.
there is no problem about the bootanimation but it's all about the sound, it's dosen't starting.
i tried to extract; place zip file; rename zip file to .mp3; place in system/customize/resource; place in system/media.
the name of the file is "android_audio.mp3" i don't think i made any errors maybe have another way to make this sound start?
thanks for replying and help
Have you tried placing hTc_boot.mp3 in /system/customize/resource? Is there any existing files in that folder?

there is no file in this folder, i tried to place "android_audio.mp3" or to rename at "htc_boot.mp3" it will take no effect.
Edit : Trying to place htc_boot.mp3 in /data/local but it's dosen't works too
try /data/local
For some illogical reason the chef of that ROM puts it in there (actually, its not illogical, its because he uses dsixda kitchen) and filename should be android_audio.mp3 and bootanimation.zip

Well I think it's ok to create new topic. I searched around but couldn't.
Actually I wanted to add beats audio to the ROM.zip(jaggyROM 3.2.1) before flashing. I downloaded the beats audio zips from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
I simply extracted the data from the zips to ROM in their appropriate directories. Eg libs in libs, apps in apps etc in etc.
(No harm to the zip. Just drag and drop)
Well I went to recovery, flashed zip, fixed permissions.
It boots now but music.apk force closes.
Please help where am I wrong?
Please let me how can I add beats audio to jaggy 3.2.1?
Well I don't want to flash it separately.
(I know jaggy 4.1 has beats audio but I want to add it to 3.2.1)

I flashed that (selected "stock" in aroma) and music.apk force closes.
By the way I was asking about adding beats before flashing the ROM. I think it needs some build.prop, script updater work.
Will someone give me some guidelines?

Yes exactly I was thinking so. Flashing sometimes edits the build.prop and set permissions as well. I copied the needed commands from the beats zip and added to the Rom script updater using es explorer but I think it made it unusable.
Now I got it simply using beats audio from play. Thanks to danceoff.

How to install beats audio on your phone
How to install beats audio on your phone:
1. Your phone must be rooted.
2. Go to the play store or google play or android market or whatever you call it.
3. Type in the search field ' beats audio'.
4. There will be an app called 'beats audio installer' which will be needing the permission of root to run.
5. Install it.
6. If you have no root, when you open the app, it will show a sad face and will display ' no root '.
7. If you have root, it will show a happy face and will display 'ready'.
8. And the app will show the rest of the instructions.
Result: you will notice some change in the sound of ur phone.
Hope it worked .

If you want to do it that way /system/media/audio/ringtones is the folder to put more sound into, right. But remember to use the right audio format (should be .ogg if I am not mistaken...)
