How the hell? - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay I know the title is weird but yeah let's get to it
So the Xoom has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU which we all know isn't compatible with LTE at least in the tegra 2 edition.....
I mean they integrated LTE with the Tegra 3 and soon the 4 but the Xoom has the tegra 2 so my question is for the stingray how did they get LTE on a device that doesn't support the technology?

Tablet question

What tablet has the most Roms or biggest community? Amongst tablets I have EVO 3d rooted so I assume rooting a tablet is not much different, or am I mistaken?

Oh what tablet would you all suggest ?

Wait and get the Transformer Prime. If you must get one now get one of the Galaxy Tab variants.
I would say iPad 2
Sorry but nothing Apple for me except an itouch

Apple is too expensive. For no reasons. Almost all programs in market are not free. So why you need Apple if you can have android and do almost everything for free and have better support (it is my opinion on support)
I got the new nook for my first tablet. It doesn'tcome out till the 14th though... I figure for 250 if I dontlike it my mother won't need a kindle fire lol

ZTE Grand X

Alrighty yet another possibility and this time looks promising. The ZTE Grand X has been released with ICS today and is basically a G2X in a new skin.
Processor: NVIDIA Tegra 2, Dual-core (AP20 Dual Core 1GHz)
http://www.androidcentral.com/zte-announces-grand-x
So here's hoping the devs can work some magic with that and get the G2X/O2X a ROM it rightfully deserves.
Been discussed in the 2x side by tonyp...for about a month maybe

It has already been debated that we cannot get drivers from this in the 2x forums........

By mistake I flash folder/modem on this phone and now I dont have network and IMEI number is there any possibility to bring that back?
ZTE Grand X IN ROMs
I looked at the ZTE kernel and IT IS NOT compatible with the G2X or the O2X and it doesn't have the same modem, so it won't be useful.

Personally I think it's different enough to make me want to try it. I just don't know if it's $50 better than the Galaxy Nexus.
At least with the Nexus you get a ton of development. But, if I had the money I'd try it out for sure.
What do u need it run miui jellybean quad core kiart 1.7 oc and u don't need anything else and it translated to english

I would.... Just depends on how much it'd cost to import it though.

I would love one because the specs are amazing and it is contract free, but if it doesn't run on Sprint, I have no use for it.

Droid Razr Maxx HD or Galaxy Note 2?

Just wanted to gauge everyone's opinion.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Its more of an issue of whether you want a larger screen and digital stylus.
Me? I would say Galaxy Note 2, but that is because I love drawing!
(Own an HTC Flyer btw and love the Stylus.)
I would say Note 2. But it's entirely up to your preferences. I for one like larger screens so I would go for the Note 2.

Note 2 only because motor devices have been rather disappointing since the cliq .

International Galaxy S4 in US

If i bought a Asian Galaxy S4 which supports LTE would it work on att in US?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
All of the SGS4's from different regions will have different bands supported via h/w (not s/w) so it depends on which individual model you're looking at.
Is this th3 one with the Octa Core?
