Personally I think it's different enough to make me want to try it. I just don't know if it's $50 better than the Galaxy Nexus.
At least with the Nexus you get a ton of development. But, if I had the money I'd try it out for sure.

What do u need it run miui jellybean quad core kiart 1.7 oc and u don't need anything else and it translated to english

I would.... Just depends on how much it'd cost to import it though.

I would love one because the specs are amazing and it is contract free, but if it doesn't run on Sprint, I have no use for it.

What does this mean for us? Do we have the right processor?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
We (SR, Vivid & Nitro) have the Qualcomm APQ8060 which is not on that list of CPU's.
It just means we'll probably wait a bit longer than some other phones before we get CM9.
Sad day for the Skyrocket

Not really.
The MSM8660 is VERY similiar to the APQ8060, I'm sure they won't have much trouble porting CM9 from one of those phones.
Granted, having the Vivid (skyrocket possibly soon) helps me, the locked bootloader.... eww.
Anyways, I'd only expect a week delay or so until the Skyrocket gets CM9, after one of those phones.
I don't care how long it takes. I love CM

The only thing better than our phone is the screen.... a lot of ppl say its really laggy the att version at least. We will see

Note is nice but I personally think its too big. I see it more of a business phone, not personal at all.
Yea it is big but my boss has the att one and its really nice and we all know T-Mobile is faster so who knows might have different specs just thought it was cool that we might be getting one

I had the note briefly and LOVED it, returned it cause there wasnt a stable modem/radio for us Tmo users...if this is true, im 100% back!!
Yay?

I still haven't had time to play with a Note yet, but its intriguing to say the least. It definitely looks a bit too large to use as an everyday phone but I'll give it a shot at least
You probably will be happier with the s3, it will be the next Gen phone.
Get the note if you need a tablet phone or high Res screen for more icons on the app drawer or something. I'm gonna wait for the s3 just because of the flagship and the proper balance of features and size and weight
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
If it comes to Tmo hopefully its the same but with an s4 processor
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
I'm really really really hope it's the Note! But, my next upgraded phone will be a toss up from the sgs3 or the note!
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
My uncle has the international version so I've had the opportunity to work on this device here and there. Using it daily really doesn't wind up feeling a ton bigger than the t989, only problems I've experienced are certain apps can't figure out if it's a tablet or a phone, so there's a fair amount of compatibility issues, but it's very slick.
But, and a big but, that phone is a Gen behind the s3

Samsung Galaxy S4 going to launched on 14th march this week.
Will cost a fortune for sure:crying:
i think its wiser to see real world performance before deciding..
I wish I could get it... If the things I've read are true, it'll be using an Exynos 8-core processor....
That phone is gonna be a beast...

I wish I could buy it, but I still have over a year on my contract with my S3. Damn it was nice to be near the top as far as how good phones could get, looks like I won't be there for long.
I just hope they dont go over board on the price..im guessing it will be like $299 with contract

You guys fail to be within his $200 budget for a used phone.
I suggest an AT&T Samsung galaxy s2 or a samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket. You should be able to get one on that budget. I got my skyrocket for $170 on new condition few months ago.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
I bet you can find an unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus for around 200$
Everywhere I looked for unlocked galaxy nexus was from 300 to 450
Sent from my SCH-R920 using xda app-developers app
And the skyrocket you musta been lucky cuz the cheapest I found was 250 and the s2 I don't like cuz of the processor the atrix hd is the idea of what I want so I'm guessing I'm going with it cuz the phones yall listed are not in my budget thx though

You need to check swappa
They've got a couple on there now around 200$
If you're due for an upgrade, the Galaxy Note II refurbed was available for $199.99 very recently.
ATT galaxy note 1 used around 200 on CL
★♡★ AT&T Galaxy Note II ☆♥☆
I still just have the original Note and over a year later I'm still pretty happy. I do occasionally start jonesing for the note 2, but not sure about the life of a refurb, I think it only saves about about $50, but with the S4 out I expect a new note 2 to drop in price soon. BTW, I haven't touched my laptop in a couple of months, I live out where the bear does his business and this is the way I get internet. No cable or DSL is within 20 miles of me... I had satellite but its more expensive and slower.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
I'm with metropcs right now I can't afford a contract I'm switching to straight talk that's why I need a at&t phone I would get a tmobile cuz of faster data speed but not many tmobile towers here
Sent from my SCH-R920 using xda app-developers app
Have you considered looking into something from Pantech? The Pantech Burst, used, would save you about $100 from your $200 budget and is a very nice phone for the money. It also has a mostly-working CM10.
You could also look into newer phones like the Pantech Discover, In general, it's a good brand for the value-conscious.
Ok I decided to go with tmobile instead I'm thinking about getting the galaxy s blaze if I buy the $50 unlimited talk text 100 mb 4g speed and I run up the 4g will I have the hspa+ speed?

How long after the s4 launch can we expect a price drop?

When will it come down in price after launch 1,2,3,4 month? Or never?

This is one way of seeing it yes the other thing is that the price may drop when the competitor comes up with a better product and samsung may start loosing the sales numbers that is about 3-4 months time period
