ICS 28b and bluetooth HID - LG Optimus 3D

I can confirm this works to a fashion. ive just synced up a bluetooth gamepad (in keyboard mode) and was able to type a text message.
The app i used to pair it was : BlueInput (googleplay). so im sure all other devices will work if the correct drivers are found.
Good luck and have fun

Bluetooth mouse also works via blueinput

xda keyboard on xda 2

I have just upgraded to the xda 2 (Qtek 2020 actually) and have found that my foldable keyboard no longer works. Is there anything I can do to rectify this (updated drivers etc). The keyboard is designed by Darfon Electronics Corp and the keyboard name is G7B0.
It happens exactly the same to me! Darfon GB70, worked great with XDA, no way to have it working on Qtek 2020.
XDA Developers Team, please help. Thanks.

XDA 2 keybaord
I bought an IR one in EOL bin at dixons, was 99p. it works with XDA2, palm515, Ipaq, and a Koosa.
It does sorta work.
It should work if you uncheck "Receive all incoming beams".
If not, you may require an updated Darfon keyboard driver.
Search the forums for a similar thread where I have identified at least one version which works.
I have unchecked "Receive all incoming beaming".
I have tried also Compaq keyboard driver 3.03.
Could you identify which thread you refer to?
Thanks, byez
Here is the link for the G7B0 keyboard driver update, by the way I think this is the best engineered folding/sliding keyboard I have ever used.

I fully agree what the keyboard is concerned. Unfortunately the "update" file 7B0Setup_US_V200.exe does not solve my problem. My Darfon G7Bo worked fine wit XDA but does not with XDA IIi (I have incoming beams disabled).
Has anyone this keyboard actually working on a XDA IIi?
Thanks
G7B0 Keyboard Driver
Hi all, i have this keyboard and i have the UK driver that works fine on my XDA2 and on WM5. See attatchment or if anyone want a copy just send me a email.
Uk driver
Thanks a lot for uploading the UK driver.
unfortunately I get the same message after install as I did witht he US driver and subsequently the keyboard still does not work:
"The program you have installed may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows Mobile software."
Any ideas?
Cheers
Darfon G7B0
Does anybody know if there is also a German Driver availaible for the Darfon Keyboard G7B0?
Therer is listed one on the Darfon list, but the Darfon Website seems to be dead ...
Thank you!

You have to disable the infrared. when you do that it will function properly, dispite the note you received. Try it.

pairing dualshock 3 htc desire

hi folks!
i just managed to pair my dualshock 3 controller with my htc desire - running defrost 3.1 rom. for pairing i used the motioninjoy controller driver via windows 7 x64. but there is still a problem...
my desire tells me that a 'playstation 3 controller' is paired with the device. but it can't connect to it. so my question is, is there any way to connect the controller without using a pincode? i google'd my a** off in search for a good pairing tool. no solutions yet...
does anybody know a tool which could manage this? if so, please post it here and i'll test it. and if this works, i'll write a how.to on connecting the dualshock 3 to the htc desire!
cheers
would be grat if you manage to do this, but i haven't heard about anybody to do it successfully...
same here... but i'm pretty happy about the fact, that my desire now recognizes the dualshock 3. there just gotta be some tool to pair it successfully. i only found somethin for windows mobile. it's called cobalt controller. if i were a coder, i'd just write a version for linux/android. but i ain't a coder

Salu2,
Siwy ;-)
okies buddy..
thnks in advance..
Hi mate,
I have the same problem ...
I get to send files but not advanced functions.
I searched by google if anyone have the same problem but not found solution.
Salu2,
Siwy ;-)
i get this problem too!
I don't know where, but I read somewhere that is had to do but a new technology.
You also can't find your Bluetooth address, it's hidden or ''Unavaileble''. This is also the reason why I cant use my Wii and PS3 controller to play emulated retro games. This sucks. Maybe it can be fixed with complicated ROM and Kernel stuff.

u may be right bt when i played the music from ma phone to a laptop belonging to my friend with inbuilt bluetooth, it played without any problem so i really cant understand why this is not possible for external bluetooth devices... :-(
It works on my laptop with built in bt as well.

got the answer..
hey guys i googled out for the problem tomorrow for atleast 1 hour ..
finally got the answer that exactly the same problem is with sgs2 because neither microsoft nor external bluetooth companies have bluetooth peripheral device drivers for our devices.. just hope that either of the parties provide these drivers as soon as possible... till then no solution available....
I'm suffering this same issue, my w7 machine can't find the bt driver peripheral, but what feature is missing? I can send/receive any file to my R and my playback mp3 player works over BT like a charm.
So what extra feature we would get by installing this driver? The only issue is the exclamation mark I get in the control panel on devices list.
Have you tried installing kies? It installs all the required drivers for your phone. Do give a try and tell me as I have an XP not 7.

Now that we have the source for the kernel will it be possible to fix the bluetooth so that we can use apps that allow us to use our bluetooth devices like wii remote and ps3 controller. Someone from htc desire dev section managed to do it so it is possible ...

USB Playstation 3 controller

I've seen this question asked in a lot of post but the thread never ends with a definitive answers.
I'm running (ICS) Megatron 1.04 with guevor's kernel 16
Does anyone know:
1. Can you use a USB playstation 3 controller with the tf101?
2. Can I plug it into the keyboard dock's USB port
3. Is an app needed to configure the buttons? (What app?)
1. Yes. Atleast Im quite sure it works.
2. Yes.
3. Yes, sixaxis.
Thanks for the response.
I will try sixaxis out.
yes sixxas works good just have to download the pairing tool on your computer so it will pair with bluetooth along with the sixxas app. then all buttons can be mapped and used with all your favorite emulators
hope that helps
