I'm having this issue that I cant find an answer to.. I have a 2nd hand lumia 820 I bought of someone.. already checked it's not blacklisted.. I am using H2O 60 dollars a month prepaid service and already set the propper apn and set the microsoft account.. I still cant access the marketplace.. Am I missing something here? tried using the search but couldnt find anything

I seriously cant find anything at all this is ridiculous.... Called microsoft and they told me to contact nokia.. and nokia has no ways of contacting them..
oops and dont know how to delete
They could have blocked needed ports for the Market. Can you use it on WiFi?
I suggest this because Straight Talk blocked something that I needed for Xbox music to work on my Lumia 900 so I had to use WiFi for it.

rite ive looked everywhere(well not everywhere cos i know u can get it ),ive contacted my fone network and even samsung but of course they dont support it and therefore cant help.
so anyways... can any 1 plz point me to a link so i can download MSN to my samsung Omnia as ive looked on their website and lost with confusion and not heard bk from them... cheers .
(ps..iphone 3g-does that have an removable memory card or build in only?)

installed it.. took awhile to connect and had to reboot fone few time due to crash or frozen but seems to work well now.. cheers!

Okay, I have searched for several weeks and would like a recommendation.
I currently have a Kaiser (AT&T Tilt). I have tried several ROMs with the phone over the past few years, but I clearly need to replace my phone. I live in an area that practically eliminates having any carrier other than AT&T or Verizon. The service with Sprint & T-Mobile is terrible.
I would like a phone running Android. I have tried the Kaiser port and enjoyed using it more than any ROM I have tried. I am fully aware that this poses a problem, as neither AT&T or Verizon currently have an Android phone.
As far as I know, I have three options ...
Purchase a T-Mobile phone (G1 or MyTouch) and use it on AT&T, giving up any hope of using the 3G network.
Purchase the Google Dev phone and use it on AT&T, again giving up any hope of using the 3G network.
Purchase a Rogers G1, pray for a root kit, and hope that it works correctly on AT&T's networks.
Is there anything I am missing? I'd really like to upgrade in the near future, but as far as I see I'm between a rock and a hard place.

Depends if it is a Usa branded phone then yes..... Also the unlock times are quite long took me about 3 days to receive my unlock code..... Welcome to the forums the search bar is also extremely useful to find a answer without waiting for a reply.....

call ATT they legally have to unlock it if your account is in good standing. They are usually nice about it. I did it through their online chat. make sure you have the last 4 digits of the SSN of the account holder.

But seriously, I've known people who have had really good results with these sites. I've also known people who get burned with bogus codes or outright nothing at all, no support, no nothing. I'd just call AT&T...you at least KNOW that they have access to the information that you need.
Hi guys. I'm actually doing this thread just because Whatsapp has acquired an understandable behaviour, but I want to know if I can fully reset my account in order to get it working.
3 days ago, after a total number of +500 reinstalls with same number (I flash my phone very often, about 100 ROMs per device) it started to add 24hs of suspension of my account at everytime I try to verify its number again, so, if I flash 2 ROMs in a day, I got ~48hs of ban, and can't verify my account. It seems like they think that I'm trying to SPAM their severs.
Is there any way to, at least, even loosing everything, fully wipe my account without getting a new number? I've contacted their support, but being root they've automatically rejected my ticket.

How do they know in advance that you're rooted, can't you just send an email to the support adress? A human will read it and might be able to help you.
Other than that, there is probably nothing you can do about it

Thanks for the answer, but they only read it if it comes with their headers containing the device info.
If you kept on doing that your account will be permanently banned.
you to wait and be patience and do contact there support or you can also try to contact them via there official facebook page
The only thing you should do right now is lay low & avoid doing what you're actually doing because this will only result in a permanent ban

If you want to unlock your SIM and you have completely cleared the dues to your provider, approach them for a way. If you have not paid off the phone, it is illegal to attempt to unlock the SIM and XDA is not the place for seeking help.
