[Q] CM 10.1 Wingray - Reboot into Recovery - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just flashed CM 10-.1 3/15 and I can't reboot into recovery via power button menu. Is there another way to do this?

AW: [Q] CM 10.1 Wingray - Reboot into Recovery
Reboot your Xoom and wait for the Motorola logo to appear. *After approximately 3 seconds, press the volume down button. You should then see the Android recovery logo. Press the volume up*button to select it.

... or just download holo reboot for example in google store.

You have to enable advanced power options in cm 10.1

[Q] Xoom 2 p/w locked.... Tear down?

Ok my xoom 2 has been password locked thanks to my 10 year old brother who doesn't know what the password is.... (oh yay) unfortunately usb debugging wasn't enabled so running any commands to hard reset my xoom is a no go.
I have searched and searched for the last few days with no success in finding a solution so i'm going to have to go beneath the hood and have a play around.
I already know how to tear down the xoom as I've already tried doing a battery pull.
Does anyone at all know anything about the internals that I could pull to wipe the device or return it to stock?
I really don't like the idea that I have spent a few hundred dollars on a pretty looking frisbee.... :-/

Alright I'll give it a few more goes I have heard it can be a bit tedious to get into by making the right timing to press the buttons.

Hello I have tf101 which dropped and the screen went out tried opening and realigned the cable but no luck so I bought a mini HDMI an it works on my TV but the sound doesn't work thanks to my custom rom that isn't updated.... so is there a way to upgrade without seeing screen because recovery doesn't do video out.

What recovery are you using? Some recoveries have apps in which you cab reboot and auto flash. Of course the odd part will be how long you should wait until you try to reboot.

You may be able to use Rom Manager (NOT TO FLASH THE RECOVERY) to auto reboot and flash the zip. I know for me twrp recovery let me auto flash a zip with goomanager as well.

Team EOS 4.4.3 on Xoom

Since flashing to 4.4.3 I've lost the advanced power menu and simply reboot into recovery. Did I miss something?

Bump. As a temp fix, I installed GooManager since it has an option to trigger a reboot to recovery.
