All of the details are in Korean(?) so I cant read any of the details and its all in an image so I cant even copy + paste into Google Translate.
I see that this seller has sold 6 of them... wondering if anyone on here bought one?

Interesting, Not bad.
(oh and btw yeah that's Korean)
i remember the name iRiver from like 10-15 years ago with MP3 players & computer CD-Roms... but I dont know if its the same company.
Can anyone read Korean that can translate it?
I can read Korean.
they say Nexus 4 can be fully charged in 4 hours.
---------- Post added at 12:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:54 PM ----------
yeh iRiver is a quality Korean company. if it is legit product from them, it should be good.
Looks like a flat orb
60 bux pls 10USD shipping is pretty steep for a non OEM product. But if it works, why not eh? Anyone buy one yet?
And I have ordered a few things from Korea and it takes a bit of time to get it delivered to USA. Last item I got took 12 days to get to me.
iRiver? Is this the same company that made all those mp3 players? I thought they had disappeared for good after smartphones took over.

yup, same company as far as i can tell... but it could be like Polaroid where they went under and another company bought them just for their name.
Really 60 isnt too bad though considering the prices of other changers (assuming this thing is actually decent) The Metrans, Panasonic, LG, Energizer & Anker ones are all $60 + shipping. Its only the unbranded ebay ones that are like 35-40 and they dont seem to work as well.
I have ordered. Should arrive next week. Will give guys some review.

Awesome, can't wait to hear your review. I ordered the orb for home but I want a pad like this for at work. Make sure to take pics too!
This looks great, just a shame that its adapter powered only...would have been great if you could use this with a MicroUSB.
Just got the charger.
Black one.
Having it just for 1 hour. First impressions:
Wow, this thing is well made. You can feel the quality. It has almost the same corner finishing like N4 has. I mean metal-plastic border. So it looks awesone with N4 on top of it.
review:
* Size is like regular CD.
* It is not high.
* It has wavy top, for the heat to come out.
* The top has soft touch, but it's still a little slippery for my naked nexus4.
* It has 3 very low green lights on top, while in charge - they blink.
* You don't need to be extremelly specific where to put phone for charge, but the charging coll is in the middle, so it's best if you put the phone right on it.
* It does not give you any sounds!!! (manual says it has small beep, but haven't managed to trigger it )
* I am not sure, but it feels like it has some magnet inside, and once the phone is close to the charger, you can feel phone is attracted.
* It charges pretty quick. 1 hour - ~ 30% charged.
* The charge distance is pretty big, I can charge my N4 inside leather bugatti pouch. Tried to lift the phone it charged even phone was ~ 1cm away form the top of the charger. Works with OEM bumber, and silicone case as well.
* Adapter power only
* Update the post while it will finish first charger
Overall: Happy with the charger. Will definitely keep it. Will use at work and maybe order LG small one for home
Some pictures:
Couple of quick questions as a friend is interested in this charger...How long was shipping from korea and can you update if it charges to 100% as indicated on your nexus 4 and what happens if you leave your nexus 4 on it (light indicators etc) does the charger switch off and automatically start charging again after a certain time and are the lights annoyingly bright?.Thanks

1. shipped on 03/06/2013 got it on 03/22/2013 destination Lithuania, Europe. Packed very well.
2. lights are not annoying, they are 3 of them and located on the corners, but they are under the top. Light green light...
let you know the charging test results
update:
1. charging reached 100%. N4 stated - charged. Lights still blinking
2. lights stopped blinking - stay on green, phone discharges, charging does not start. You need to take and put down the phone for start charge again.
I think this is OK. Or do you expect the charger to charge even 1% dropped?
Hope this helps.
Usually it will drop to about 96% then start charging again. Can you leave it on a bit longer and see if it starts up again.
What is the output current on the charger?
Also the seller raised the price to 65 + 10 shipping.
Hi, was wondering if this charger will trickle charge to keep the phone around 100% or will turn off until the phone is put back on the pad.
Thanks!
It keeps n4 100%

Hm, contradictory statements.
So, guys, do you confirm, that it indeed supports trickle charging? I need my phone to stay 100% charged as long as it is on the pad.
If it starts to discharge as soon as 100% is reached and doesn't turn charging back on later (when charge drops to 90-97%), then, I assume, it doesn't have one?!

I was planning on getting one of those, with an extra battery. But damn this one looks nice. I wonder if my phone (with chromatics skin) will fit.
Yeah looks like a tight fit....
I have an otterbox on mine and I knew going in that would probably eliminate a dock from my future, but I'd be curious if I could still lay it in there.
I doubt it, but would appreciate a review!

I have a stealth guard and it fits just fine in my dock, the skin/screen protector type things will fit in the docks I'm sure....cases won't I'm sure
Finally!! Now we don't have to hack one up ourselves... haha. And at $20 I'm willing to buy it.
Sweet! Now about that official car dock...
Looks nice! Bummer though it won't support if the phone has a case on it. And that's a nice price as well

That's what I am [im]patiently waiting for...
I popped into my local T-Mobile store, no luck. The helpful salesperson told me that they only stock these in the "playground stores." Anyone know how to find a "playground store"?
I have a Question for those who have this dock: Does the phone know it is in this dock? Does it automatically go into dock/clock mode? I have the generic dock with the battery charger on the back, but the phone just thinks it is on an AC charge.

Theoretically, you should be able to get anything at any store. But this is a new item, not even listed on the TMO website. I'm guessing the playground stores get the cool stuff first.

I would be wary of these if I were you guys.
I bought one of these just the other day for my Desire Z. It says that if you want to charge both the extra battery, and the phone at the same time, that you have to use both cables, but the phone registers a charge taking place when you use just the cable that is designated for charging the extra battery behind the phone.
Also, when my Desire Z is docked, using one or both of the cables, my touch screen stops responding. Every once in a while if I sit there tapping it over and over and over it will register something, but it is extremely rare. Then, after taking the phone of the dock (and it had only been on it for a few minutes) it started wigging out. Things getting clicked that I didn't touch, changing from one screen to another without me touching the phone, scrolling by itself intermittently, etc. I ended up having to do a restart, then switch off, take battery out for a few minutes etc to get it to start working properly again.
I won't be touching these dodgy 3rd party docks again.
Hopefully they will come out with an official HTC Desire Z dock outside of the U.S.
Hey mas_
I have one of those "dodgy 3rd party docks". I only have used it with the permanent USB cable, plugged into my HTC AC adapter. It seems to work fine this way.
As an experiment, (if you're willing to put your phone back into the dock) try touching the metal ring with your thumb, then touching the touch screen. There's a thread somewhere about this, but the touchscreen is not as responsive when you're not holding the phone. (e.g. it is in a dock)

Hey Queue515, thanks for the response.
I'm not so worried about the phone not registering touch so well when docked, as I am worried about the behaviour of the phone after using the dock. It was actually quite disturbing, holding the phone not touching the screen at all and seeing it scroll by itself, select items, change screens, etc. There was even some flickering distortion of images (just a single item on the screen, not the entire screen).
I would hate to have something permanent happen to the phone.
I would also like to point out that my phone normally doesn't need to be held for the touch screen to work flawlessly. I can just set it down, and do presses and swipes just fine without holding it or touching the metal ring. Both when it is flat, and when I prop it up against something.
I haven't had any issues with the dock and have been using it daily for the past two months, the whole touch screen not responding doesn't have anything to do with the dock. It's the way the phone is designed cause if you have the phone laying down on the table and if you try and touch the screen without touching anything else on the phone it won't work 99% of the time. There was a big long thread about it and once you put your finger or something on the phone and then touch the screen it works 100% of the time. I've experienced this with the dock and it's no biggie, I'm willing to bet the official dock from TMo will act this way as well

I actually addressed this in my post, down at the bottom.
I don't have to touch my phone anywhere or hold it anywhere else to get the touch screen to work. I am doing it right now. It is laying down on the desk, and I am using ONE finger to navagate around and select items. I do not have to touch the casing or anything else. I also do this in the morning when I am using it as an alarm clock. I keep the phone propped up, plugged in and charging. When it goes off, I reach over and use ONE finger to tap the snooze button. Works perfectly every single time, no phone holding needed.
And yes PatrickHuey, I was referring to the 3rd party one, not the official one.

Huh odd..mine doesn't hardly let me use it when it's on the table laying flat so I think nothing of it lol
Ok, so i just managed to drop my phone, not that high, no cosmetic damage at all, after a few hours, low and behold, dead pixels or broken LCD not sure which or both, and it's spreadiing like wildfire.. so frustrating!!
What's a good screenshot app? Tried 2 apps from the market, kept giving me balnk screens.. I've also tried JScreenfix, pixel fixer, to no avail.. Guess i'm gonna have to live with this until I decide to get a new phone, coz im sure having the LCD replaced will cost more than half of the phone's price so why bother.. *sigh
Dont tell Motorola u dropped it and if it was before a year, they fix it for free. At least they did mine.
Download shootme from market. Works for me

Yeah still has warranty until 9/4 although i lost the receipt, but the motorola websitre says it is still under warranty. I'm now trying to find a Motorola service center to get it repaired.. for free coz im not paying.. LOL! I'll post pics of my screen so you may check if it's anything like what happened to your XT720. Thanks!
@spectacle
Will try that one, if it works, i'll post pics of my screen. Thanks!
**edit: Ok so shootme indeed works, but doesn't capture the issue on the screen, gives me perfect screens as they should be.. LOL! Maybe because it's taking a snapshot of the actual display not the external display which i see with the eye? *sigh!
I had to send mine off to Texas to be fixed. I had to pay about $8 US to ship it to them they paid for shipping back and it took about a week and a half. It was the longest week and half ever too. I started having withdrawals. Lol all I had to play with was my android virtual machine. it sure beat buying a new phone.
Dead pixels is a hardware problem my friend. Taking a screenshot probably won't work. Trying using a camera and take a photo of your screen

Don't worry about the receipt or the warranty card (if you have it bring it along) but they won't ask for it! it takes a week max to fix it! =) also if you are on dexters FroYo be sure to flash to a stock ROM and they will wipe your data so back up first. Moreover if your warranty ends soon they will give you 90 days additional warranty from the day they fix it!

Hey guys this seems to be working, my screen was 70% damaged with stuck/dead pixels. Last night I tried this trick and my screen has recovered from damage. Now there are only 10-15% stuck pixels on my screen. Maybe tonight I'll do it again and screen will get back to normal.
Thank you for this post!

Are you in Singapore? Unfortunately, i'm in the Philippines, based on the IMEI on my device checking in Motorola's website, i'm still under warranty til September.. Any tips on how to send to singapore if you're not living there? And btw, my phone was bought from Singapore it seems as it has a Starhub sticker in the back still intact..
same problem
yo guys i have the same problem too. i just dropped the phone today and after a while the patches of blue stuff appeared. send to warranty?
If you are under warranty and willing to wait for the repair time, then yes send to warranty. But if you want a quick fix, do as above and start freezing..!!

I just got my Energizer inductive charger today, and it works GREAT!
The charger, however, is a dust magnet, and the phone gets pretty hot while charging.
I'm using a diztronic TPU case on my phone, and the inductive charger manages to work with the case on.
One thing that doesn't seem to work is charging the phone while the phone is powered off.
Also ordered an Oregon Scientific Clock + charger, will report the results when I receive it tomorrow.

haven't calculated it yet but i heard it takes twice as long to charge compared to normal usb charging.
Would you mind taking the case off to see if the phone stays or slides off. I see that slant, and it takes less than that for the phone to move
I've been using the Energizer Qi charger for over a week now and it works great. I have a bumper case on it so sliding is not an issue. I put it on the charger when I go to bed and in the morning the blue light is off meaning it is charged. Make sure you turn off 'DayDream' mode in display settings since this keeps the screen on during charging and causes really slow charging and heats up the phone. So far I haven't been having any heat related issues using the Energizer charger. I also ordered the Panasonic TM101 which hopefully will be here from Japan in the coming weeks.

I'm also interested on the Oregon clock, please post pics and tell me if it has duel alarms please?

I had this charger for a few days when I first got my N4. For those worried about the phone sliding, here's what I did... Went to the auto parts store and picked up one of those sticky dashboard pads and cut it to fit. Worked perfectly. I've since purchased the LG WCP-700 charger and use the same sticky pad on it.

I've had two of these chargers for a few weeks. Just today, I noticed a very faint clicking noise coming from the charger when nothing is charging. I've never noticed this before. I'm not home at the moment to check my other charger to see if it also makes the clicking noise, but I'm pretty sure this just started. It still appears to be working fine, but the clicking can get a little annoying. Can anyone else hear it if? Try putting your ear up to it. It has a certain repetitive pattern to it too.

Nope, doesn't have dual alarms, only has one alarm. I'm not really liking the clock, it seems pretty small and the instructions are kind of vague.

Thanks. Maybe it's normal and I just noticed it today for some reason. I'll check out my other one tonight to see if it also makes the clicking noises.
EDIT: Yup, just checked my other charger. It also constantly does the clicking.
I woke up this morning and rolled over to grab my phone off the nightstand and was shocked to find that the phone was sitting in a small puddle of water and the USB port and cable were melted. There was a message in the status bar saying "High Powered USB Device Connected" and the phone had not charged. The phone will not recognize any USB cables either. The USB port is simply dead.
The water came from my CPAP machine which for some reason leaked a little last night. The water got in between the battery and back cover and must have shorted something out. Bummer.....
Called AT&T and they said that the warranty doesn't cover this damage (didnt tell them about the water though) because it could have came from a power surge in the home. Also, I don't have insurance on the phone and I do not have any upgrades available on my family plan AND I cannot add another line to my account without changing my family plan which would mean that I would lose my unlimited data plan which I'm grandfathered into. Im screwed....
Temporary Solution! - Galaxy S4 Spare Battery w/ Charger
I ran down to Frys Electronics here in town and they had 1 in stock. Now I can swap batteried daily (pain in the A$$) but it's my only option at this point short of buying another phone out right.
I have an SD card so I can still swap ROMS and stuff but I cannot go back to stock via Odin if I ever desired that.
Lessons Learned - Always buy insurance on your phone & dont charge next to a humidifier or water tank.

you can use a wireless receiver and charger it's not as fast as the oem Wall charger but still good at 640mah charge.
I'll sell ya my S4 with custom recovery for a good price. Hit me up!
Damn man, that's tough. Definitely try replacing the usb port before scrapping the phone. You can get it off ebay for < $20.

Yea I thought about that but the plastic around the port is melted and warped so badly that I dont know if I will even be able to get a USB cable in there. It's worth a shot through. Maybe I can smooth it out with a very small Dremel tool
You can replace a plastic for 30 bucks to

Damn, I didn;t know I had that option. I Googled and found this but it's for the GT-i9505 but I assume since they are basically the same phone that it would fit. I couldnt find an "AT&T" one.

I always use spare batteries, I have 4 spares, it's way better than chargering. Post a video about it on YouTube. Someone else's s4 charger burned up their phone and Samsung got all butthurt and then Nokia sent them a new phone because Samsung tried to bury it. I don't charge my phone because IF I need the port I'll have it so I don't take the chance of ruining it.

Join the club buddy, I left mine on the charger 1 night for about 5hours and roll over out of bed picked it up only to burn my hand, after I drop my S4 because it was so hot, I find that half the screen was burned but still viewable, SIM card melted in the slot and the plastic slightly bent. Took it to a at&t repair center and they swapped it out on the spot. No question asked.
I just received mine in the mail yesterday. Cool a$$ little device. It charges, functions as a trusted BT device, finds my phone, my phone finds it. Moto Connect reads the remaining battery.
I was concerned that it would be too big for my keys, which is not the case. I'm very happy with it. AMA about it.

How long does the battery last if you don't charge your phone with it? Assuming it didn't die already how much percent do you find it drops per day just based off the bluetooth?

I've had one of these a few weeks now (2 actually, but haven't opened the second one up).
The battery drain is less than 1% per day. Since receiving mine and fully charging it, I hadn't charged it at all for at least two weeks and the juice was just down to 90% with the BT turned on.
Unlike the first poster, I find the thing just a hair too large to put on my key chain, but I also have my car's electronic key and another BT tether device on my keychain (no actual keys, though!). I just put my PP in my back pocket (work slacks, not jeans).
I bought two of them. Both of them arrived with the colored cover starting to peel off. Anyone else having this issue?

I ask because mine got here in the same condition. I live in Miami, very hot and humid climate and I wonder if it has to do with that. Call them, they will replace it for you.
Mine have no issues. Turquoise and yellow. Yellow is still in the package but the turquoise one rides on my key chain and after several weeks seems to be holding up fine.

Hi guys. Just a quick question how long does it take for a full charge from the micro to the moto x?

First, it will not charge the device fully. The Power Pack's capacity is 1500mAh, while the Moto X 2014's capacity is 2300mAh. So you're looking at getting about 65% of your battery back at optimal performance, minus some due to technical inefficiencies, and some more due to other limitations.
Second, it charges at 1A. The Moto's charger is 1150mA (1.15A), so it charges the phone slightly slower than the stock charger.
Hope this helps! I personally don't see the value in $40 for such a device, but if I lost my keys and/or phone more often it'd totally be worth it.
Yeah I regret buying it. Every time I use it it only change like maybe 30%+ from a full micro
