My phone is not going into download mode, it reappears in the device manager every 5 seconds,
problem is that my phone is not booting normally but automatically goes into flash mode, I can however get into recovery.
I wanted to flash my 21b kdz but this is not working for me. Anyone has an idea how to force my phone to go into download mode for the Lg tool ?

Update : I have found a way to acces the emergency mode ( s/w appears on screen ) and the flash is succesfull but I am stuck in a bootloop. it shows lg for 2 seconds and restarts.
Maybe a boot loader issue. Try flashing the 1.25a bootloader script using the all-in-one tool or downgrade to GB bootloader using his "downgrade the undowngradeable phones" guide.

and nothing I do get's it to go away. I have spent the better part of 8 hours screwing around with it and can't figure it out. Here is what I know:
If you just try and turn on the phone sans power cord, it won't turn on. If you plug it it, it displays the LG screen and stops. If you hold down the power, down, home keys, then power cable, it will boot into fastboot and take fastboot commands. I have followed the procedure to flash a recovery image listed here in the forums to no avail. It will erase the recovery, flash it, but will not reboot on the reboot command. When I disconnect the data cable and reconnect, it will go right back to the LG screen. I have tried KDZ and downloaded the original rom via the Original LG Firmware tool. It will communicate with the phone if I put the phone in emergency mode via the simultaneous back and volume down button while connecting the power cable. KDZ will start to install the rom but after some time, the phone spontaneously reboots and then hangs at the LG screen. Upon reboot back into emergency, the KDZ routine finishes and says it's finished but when I reboot it goes right back to the LG screen. I have tried the kdz tool in diag and emergency modes while shaking the phone. I have tried the software update tool but it says it cant communicate properly with the phone. I don't know what else to try.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!
After you succesfully flashed the recovery using fastboot, do you try to boot into recovery manually?
If that doesn't works you could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827723

By recovery do you mean clockworkmod? If so, the phone is stock, unrooted so no, if not, what do you mean and how do I do that?
Thanks a bunch!
PS, If I follow the method I found for entering recovery it goes right back to fastboot.
PS Part two, the app you link did the same thing as I did manually and did not help.... thanks anyway...

Hey jackler1, it will not allow you to install any custom recovery if your phone is still not rooted as you mentioned.
Hence using the Home+Vol-+power combo takes you to the fast boot screen.
1st thing you need to do is to root the phone, for it to allow installation of a custom recovery.
Many root tools are available for the P500 - eg Gingerbreak, Super one click.
try this for rooting - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1832485

Well it seems I may have fully bricked my Optimus 3D. I installed the offical isc kdz the other day and it was malfunctioning since i didnt wipe before the flash. I was going to flash a recovery via fastboot and I seemed to have flashed some type of boot for the su760.(Accidently) Then i flashed a recovery. After that the device would only show the lg logo for a second then shut off. So today I flashed bernis files in attempt of maybe fixing it. Now my phone doesn't boot AT ALL. Just a black screen. I can only enter fastboot. Any ideas before I toss it?:crying:

I thought I had done the same, flash back to stock gingerbread using xball unbrick method, then flash bin/fls of new ICS, then root and install recovery with the all in one tool.

its useless it wont enter fastboot mode nor download mode when i press the on/off buttom it only flashes the lg logo and turn off...
Pretty sure that with the V28B kdz you dont get the korean screen when entering download mode, Been in this position as well you should still be able to enter download mode although it appears that nothing is happening on screen.
use the omap4boot choose correct option for your phone, press enter and take battery out of your phone and hold vol + and connect to usb wait until process happens and when it says wait 5 secs put in battery and let go as soon as process finishes and your phone will be in fast boot. you could also use xbsall's reebooter to flash bootloaders ive used it before really easy to use. hope this helps
also once you flash the bootloaders you should just flash xbsall rooted v28b.bin file using lg flash if in win 7 dnt forget to have run in xp sp3 compatability mode download link for rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963847

Official P920 gingerbread had same black screen for download mode so dont worry about it.
Send from my XBSA ICS V7.2 P920.
I tried to restore stock recovery by flashing the stock firmware on my LG G2 through the KDZ method in download mode (when it worked) and the process was interrupted (accidentally disconnected midway through the process). Now the firmware is corrupt and I don't even have download mode to flash it back to normal. It does not get detected by the LG flash tool when I try to get into download mode.

Which G2 model do you have? Will the device go in fastboot mode when try enter recovery? In that case you can reflash recovery via fastboot.

I have a d803 (Canadian Variant). And there is no fastboot. When I reboot into bootloader, it just boots into system. And I'm not trying to re-flash recovery. I have CWM now, running Carbon Mod. But I don't have download mode, which I need to flash firmware.

Yeah, but now it's impossible for me to revert to LG stock, should I ever need to. I can't return it and upgrade, because the OS is different. I need download mode back, or an alternative method to flash kdz's.

I'm running a custom rom 5 months now when my phone got a freeze last night and it's stuck in Logo... it wont also go to recovery. So i tried to flash my firmware using SpFlash.
It passed thru 100% and got a successful flash. but nothing happens. After that, i tried to do Format All + Download, then my phone doesnt show logo, doesnt vibrate either. i tried to flash again the firmware, but even if it's successful, it doesn't change anything. It's still not booting.
phone gets recognize on device manager.
I have drivers installed on my windows 7
I'm using SP Flashtool v5.1552
i have 2 stock firmwares downloaded from official Huawei services and one from another site.
EDIT: PHONE IS DEAD.

After all this can you still flash through sp flash tool?
Does your phone charge?
If you're sure you flashed the right firmware leave it for some time , if it still doesnt boot then remove the battery and reinsert and try again.

YES! I am still able to flash successfully without errors. but nothing happens though.
i'm also sure that i flashed the right firmware.
removing the battery and placing it some time doesn't do anything.
Just now, i tried to flash with Firmware Upgrade option, and i get an error failed to find PMT file info or something.
are you familiar with such?
Use download only as that's the only workaround I've for this pmt error.this mostly is releted to scatter text and wrong directory of files so trying another stock firmware might help.
