Hi everyone, i tried to flash the new v28b with lg tool over .kdz (as i did so many times before) but it failed the i tried to flash it with smartflash and it worked but was on a bootloop, then i tried to flash v21e and now when i turn the phone on it flashes the LG logo and reboots the he flashes the LG logo again and again and again, he doesn't boot, can't enter recovery neither download mode. hard reset won't solve this too.
Has somebody any suggestion what to do?
Thanks in advance

its useless it wont enter fastboot mode nor download mode when i press the on/off buttom it only flashes the lg logo and turn off...
Pretty sure that with the V28B kdz you dont get the korean screen when entering download mode, Been in this position as well you should still be able to enter download mode although it appears that nothing is happening on screen.
use the omap4boot choose correct option for your phone, press enter and take battery out of your phone and hold vol + and connect to usb wait until process happens and when it says wait 5 secs put in battery and let go as soon as process finishes and your phone will be in fast boot. you could also use xbsall's reebooter to flash bootloaders ive used it before really easy to use. hope this helps
also once you flash the bootloaders you should just flash xbsall rooted v28b.bin file using lg flash if in win 7 dnt forget to have run in xp sp3 compatability mode download link for rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963847

Your adb setup isn't working. Have you booted your phone holding VOL+ and power? Are your ADB drivers installed?
It's either the first or the last one, check your stuff. I doubt it's bricked.
look thats what the phone do exactly when i restart it normal it keeps on the boot screen it just keep going on but when i boot with vol + i get into that menu not sure what its called where it say
REBOOT BOOTLOADER
REBOOT
RECOVERY
POWER OFF

I've never had good luck with the Android SDK driver, I use the PDANet driver instead.
http://junefabrics.com/android/index.php
That always got my phone to be detected after.
Edit: That's the fastboot screen. You should have used this when you rooted your phone, if you did it "manually".
You will use fastboot flash recovery recoveryimage.img
to flash a recovery. Recoveryimage.img will be the name of the recovery you're trying to flash.
i did and thats what i get when im trying flash the recovery
wow i restarted the phone and tried and it worked

sir also try renaming the file so it will be easier to type...sir and it was flashed if it restarted in the recovery please let me know what happened
and nothing I do get's it to go away. I have spent the better part of 8 hours screwing around with it and can't figure it out. Here is what I know:
If you just try and turn on the phone sans power cord, it won't turn on. If you plug it it, it displays the LG screen and stops. If you hold down the power, down, home keys, then power cable, it will boot into fastboot and take fastboot commands. I have followed the procedure to flash a recovery image listed here in the forums to no avail. It will erase the recovery, flash it, but will not reboot on the reboot command. When I disconnect the data cable and reconnect, it will go right back to the LG screen. I have tried KDZ and downloaded the original rom via the Original LG Firmware tool. It will communicate with the phone if I put the phone in emergency mode via the simultaneous back and volume down button while connecting the power cable. KDZ will start to install the rom but after some time, the phone spontaneously reboots and then hangs at the LG screen. Upon reboot back into emergency, the KDZ routine finishes and says it's finished but when I reboot it goes right back to the LG screen. I have tried the kdz tool in diag and emergency modes while shaking the phone. I have tried the software update tool but it says it cant communicate properly with the phone. I don't know what else to try.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!
After you succesfully flashed the recovery using fastboot, do you try to boot into recovery manually?
If that doesn't works you could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827723

By recovery do you mean clockworkmod? If so, the phone is stock, unrooted so no, if not, what do you mean and how do I do that?
Thanks a bunch!
PS, If I follow the method I found for entering recovery it goes right back to fastboot.
PS Part two, the app you link did the same thing as I did manually and did not help.... thanks anyway...

Hey jackler1, it will not allow you to install any custom recovery if your phone is still not rooted as you mentioned.
Hence using the Home+Vol-+power combo takes you to the fast boot screen.
1st thing you need to do is to root the phone, for it to allow installation of a custom recovery.
Many root tools are available for the P500 - eg Gingerbreak, Super one click.
try this for rooting - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1832485

Hello,
I recently flashed the xbsa ics ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956347). But what I found is I got no signal on my phone. I search and found that I should flash another baseband. What I did is turn on usb debugging on that ROM and flash another baseband, but the LG update tool determined my phone as a SU760 and after flashing the baseband, I got the LG logo and vibration for one second everytime I turn my phone on then it powers down.
My phone can now still boot into fastboot mode, can someone provide help? Thanks!
Just reflash the ICS .bin file .
That is all .

I might be wrong but to get to fastboot you first need to enter download mode
Just Use Xbsall Recovery Guide and start Over

You can't enter download mode because of the loaders (your phone has ICS loaders with V21E software) So use the rebooter to flash V21E loaders . After that the phone will have the same loaders (V21E Loaders with V21E software ) , then it can enter download mode .
If your device is LG-P920 ,, I'm ready to help with teamviewer .

My phone is not going into download mode, it reappears in the device manager every 5 seconds,
problem is that my phone is not booting normally but automatically goes into flash mode, I can however get into recovery.
I wanted to flash my 21b kdz but this is not working for me. Anyone has an idea how to force my phone to go into download mode for the Lg tool ?

Update : I have found a way to acces the emergency mode ( s/w appears on screen ) and the flash is succesfull but I am stuck in a bootloop. it shows lg for 2 seconds and restarts.
Maybe a boot loader issue. Try flashing the 1.25a bootloader script using the all-in-one tool or downgrade to GB bootloader using his "downgrade the undowngradeable phones" guide.

Wow, it just started up after I did follow that guide, Now I only have to check how to fix my imei.
Found out that ICS came out a few days ago so now its time to try and revert it back to stock
i have the p500h (koodo). basically, i bricked my phone following this guide: [HOW-TO] Simplified Root + Recovery + Custom ROM
i turned on usb debugging, then installed gingerbreak 1.20 , then it rebooted and i installed the VM670NH_recovery.img using the flash recovery gui app. then i turned off the phone and tried to boot into recovery by holding down teh button sequence, i saw the LG logo, but then when i let go of the buttons it simply turns off. if i try to boot normally without going into recovery i just see the LG logo forever. any suggestions?
i have tried to fix it with lgdmp in emergency mode after i came across this post but my phone doesnt show up when i go to select port

would that be found in Optimus One, P500 Original Android Development or Optimus One, P500 Android Development?? basically i searched for p500h recovery img but i didnt find anything for p500h specifically. would this one be compatible
[RECOVERY] Unofficial TWRP 2.2.2.1 Full Touch recovery??
Im guessing the only way to unbrick my phone now would be to kdz flash a compatible recovery onto it?
i also tried to use lgdmp + emergency mode to flash a new recovery as suggested in this post but my phone doesnt show up in lgdmp. (and i have installed the lg drivers found here )
also i should mention that i cant see the lg modem drivers in my device manager even though my phone is plugged in and in emergency mode
try this if it works, remove the battery and while pressing vol down conect usb cable(have to w8 a little) to see if something happens or your phone is detected (also remove sd card)
Try this one...

But be really careful and never remove your battery in Emergency mode.
thanks guys, i installed the android sdk which included some drivers and all of the sudden my phone was showing up in lgdmp. so i was able to flash recovery on it. the phone worked for a while, but now its bootlooping again. i have tried wiping data/cache/dalvik and flashing different roms on it but it still bootlooping at the lg logos
