Hello the person who posted this kindly note this steps will work only on my phone a919. our a110 canvas though similar processing but different hardware so the TV out will not work. Again I say as a senior member the thread can be closed since TV out defnitly will not work for canvas and even canvas HD too..

Hope Its Working With 3.5mm Jack Cable
Micromax canvas does not support TV out. As a senior member I advise people not expense amount unnecessary. TV out option must have an hardware support.
To surprise the clone of Micromax my phone a919 supports TV out. If the persons having a919 can use handle TV out via 3.5 => RC cable remember 3.5 pin should not be gold coloured which will not work.
Don't forget to hit thanks if the information was useful.

Hey guys i have been doing some research about the kindle for hd capabilities being a usb host. However all i could find was that i need a powered hub as the kindle for itself cannot provide enough power to run a Ian drive. Now the question, do you know if this is true and if it is can you recommend me a powered hub that will surely work for the best possible price? And also an otg cable?
Thank you in advance

USB host mode is currently disabled in the KFHD 7", We are waiting for someone to release a kernel that will enable it, I think hashcode is working on the kernel ATM.

Does anyone know the progress because usb-host-mode
The KFHD does not supply the voltage to power the drive. At this time, there are two options.
Fist one is the one I chose is the Wi-Drive.
The second one is a Y style USB cord that allows a voltage to be applied and powers the USB. The option to use the USB will light up once voltage is supplied. 4 volts is desired. Most just use one of those on the go phone chargers that takes a couple standard AA batteries to plug into the male USB port to provide the voltage. Then one plug into the KFHD and the other into a flash drive.

Y USB cord supports extra power to a device. One USB port is plugged into a power supply and servs power to the USB device (USBstick, ext. drive) into a combined USB.
BTW: If there is no support of usb host by the kernel, that shouldn't work.
Maybe it's possible to add 5v power to the usb-port inside Kindle Fire HD (Hardware MOD) and someone enables usb host module in the kernel.
possible
is it possible to become a host KFHD
I have a normal HDTV and I am new to mirroring or streaming things from my phone to my TV. I don't want to use any cables and I'm looking to have as little lag as possible.

Netgear PTV3000. Just remember.. The device needs an update right out of the box to work.
Chromecast for $35 should work.
Yes the CC works for Netflix/Youtube/GoogleMusic but device mirroring isn't available.... yet.

Well, this is from the specs:
HTC Connect Micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high- definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection (Special cable required for HDMI connection.)
I just bought a MHL cable from Amazon and I'll just try it if no one else has yet. Worse case I return it.

I use a standard MHL adapter (non-HTC) and it works just fine. Here is the one I use: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875994879
As I said...Works perfectly fine with my M8.
any idea if my Samsung one will work?
