[APK] Xperia Play Live Wallpapers (Classic and Original)

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, but here are the Playstation live wallpapers from the Xperia Play. I currently have both working and running on my N1. Simply install them like usual.
If you have any problems please let me know.
[EDIT] These live wallpapers require android 2.3.1 or higher

Everytime i try to install the files i get a parsing error.
Any idea how to fix it ? Although : Thanks for uploading !
(I`ve got a X10 @ 2.1)

Had to reboot here to get them to work correctly. Works well though. Nice an subtle animations.

I believe they require 2.2 or higher. Off the top of my head I don't remember I'll have to double check that.
[EDIT] after double checking looks 2.3 is required for these wallpapers.

It`s sad i actually can`t use them but I`m glad they probably will work on any 2.3 version (whenever i will get it)

Works fine with my G2 running cm7. Although lwps are basically incompatible with third party launchers which is what I'm using

These installed fine. I rebooted to be sure but when selecting either one it says loading live wallpaper then goes black for a second then says loading again. I have a nexus s running cm7.

Having the exact same issue, running a Nexus S with cm7rc2

For those having the issue of loading-black screen-loading; do they eventually load? Or are you stuck watching it trying to load forever? I don't have this issue and cannot replicate it.

Make sure unknown sources is checked in Settings - Applications, download the apps, use a file manager to find the apps on you SD card, select the app and choose install.

It never loads and if I apply it as my live background anyway, it pauses for 2-3 seconds and loads up the default Nexus live background

getting a 404 on the dropbox url, and you havnt shared any public posts on G+ so cant download the app

ATM it should just be called HoloNote since you are only able to take one note. Still I like that you used the Holo theme, so I might look into the app again, when development has continued.

Very nice app! Having some issues however:
1. I had to create the "data" folder and the "holonote.txt" file manually.
2. Everytime I load a note it adds a blank line at the end
Keep up the good work!

Hi I'm Aware Of The Issue Where The App Adds A Blank Line Of Text In The App But The Issue Of Having To Manually Create The Data Folder And The .txt Data File Is a New One To Me I'll Investigate The Issue And I'll See What I Can Do To Help

Xoom 3.2.1 4G have not tried it yet on my Galaxy Nexus.

Tried that about 3 times and still no dice. App works on GNex no problems.

its not just the country app either its also a phone specific application, it seems that you need the Japanese "006SH Device" to download the game.

It looks good aswell it comes up on my UK market device not compatible :-(

It also says you need android 2.3.7 which is obviously not out for the PLAY (officially).

It is possible to install the apk modifying the Androidmanifest file in the last two codes below with apkeditor Pro hacked version, In two options to run it on android it says something about true, You change it to False and save the android manifest, And then you compile the apk but then it comes out, Maybe the apk requires Obb data, but the issue would be how to run it on Android, what if the game graphics were to be obtained?

I recently discovered a bug in the Play store, on Android devices. it turns out that if you click on that link, it will automatically take you to the play store application and you have to get the RR Accelerated https://market.android.com/details?id=com.namcobandaigames.ridgeraceracc006sh

Not renting until I go to Italy on the 29th, but it should work as the test is just on startup and you use the market to root

Any attempt to view a movie caused my A500 running ICS to reboot, the official app does not do this (it also doesn't play them, probably due to root)... can get logs another day, busy..

"There's a problem parsing the package" error for my rooted hd2. I don have google play movie before as well... any help?

If this dose not work there is a asp called voodoo ota root keeper that's hides ur root then I can rent movies when eve i want n. Then restore root when done easy simples!!!!!!!!!

Play music not working
I downloaded the new play music and it does not work PROPERLY.
I am in Canada with a rooted Galaxy Nexus running CM9.
the app did install and it runs, it even lets you rent a movie, but it wont play.
When you click play on the movie it says failed to fetch license touch to retry.
When you try to manage your offline movies and select your newly rented movie it says failed again error 925.
I hope they can figure this out so that i can rent movies.

I just checked AndroidManifest and I confirmed this apk is built for Android 3.2 or higher!
You'll get "error parsing package" if you try to install it on older android builds.
If this mod works correctly, I will probably be able to mod the apk for Froyo/GB/etc.

What does this mean?
Did you uninstall the original google play movies first?

I can install it and my "test movie" i purchased shows up in the queue of the "movie app" unlike the stock version..When I start the movie, I get a licensing error...Im on cm9 on galaxy s and I couldn't my test movie to play...
p.s. I am referring to the version from yesterday in my initial comment...I just tried the new one and I can't install it...I changed permissions and still couldn't install the new one...cm9 as well

umm... did you test this....? is not working on Superman Rom 2.2 for s7 flat Int exynos... just fyi
i downloaded your file, installed it. reboot and no good. when i hit home button youtube does not keep playing. if you have some instructions you forgot maybe edit your post. or what is needed...?

My mistake! Find out i've upload the wrong apk, i'll update the link as fast possible.

Anyone know if you're able to login to YouTube? OGYoutube doesn't let me and I'm looking for a replacement. Possibly this one once you add ad blocking.

I did a big mistake, i replaced the build of my patched apk with original youtube last version apk where i was working on!
For now i take down the download link and i'll try to work on it again.

This is like the same when you are on ROOT and you use the patch from Lucky patcher on a Nougat device, or the same like using XPOSED module. You can login easily but you won't have any real-time update from Google Playstore. I'll try to update the apk as fast possible when i get a new official update.
