ATM it should just be called HoloNote since you are only able to take one note. Still I like that you used the Holo theme, so I might look into the app again, when development has continued.

Very nice app! Having some issues however:
1. I had to create the "data" folder and the "holonote.txt" file manually.
2. Everytime I load a note it adds a blank line at the end

Hi I'm Aware Of The Issue Where The App Adds A Blank Line Of Text In The App But The Issue Of Having To Manually Create The Data Folder And The .txt Data File Is a New One To Me I'll Investigate The Issue And I'll See What I Can Do To Help

Hello everyone!
My name is Hootan and I work on XDA in my free time.
I've ported MIUI Notes to the other Android versions as a new project and changed it in the way I like.
It supports Android 2.1+ (SDK 7)
I hope you enjoy it.
Credits
The credits belong to @HootanParsa and MIUI company.
I've 'Ported' "MIUI Notes" means that I decompiled the app and extracted all useful resources, then I created a new project with a new package name with my prefix "com.android.minotes" and tried to remake all classes and create all the objects which couldn't work on the other ROMs (2.1+ MIUI and non MIUI ROMs). I also used some methods from MIUI open source project.
I estimate this project took about 230 hours to make.
Sharing:
All of the developers have free license to add this app in their custom ROM as default.
All of themers have full permission to modify this app and change the theme as they want.
You can also modify this app for translating strings in your language.

I can't open it. Afer clicking on the app there comes a white screnn and then the screen that it can't open.

The new Viki forces ads in between the shows. Here's version 2.1.3 which has no ads. Just uninstall your current Viki app. Then erase the file .Viki located in your internal SD. Then install the attached apk here.

You have to allow installation of unknown sources in settings. You might also want to try to insert the apk in /data/data and set permissions to -rw -r -r.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. This works great, but since this is the older version how will it update for new shows? Like, if there's a new episode. Does it automatically add the new episode and subs from the newer version of Viki?

Hi, I was experiencing the same problem around a month ago and up to now it's still not working. I thought I was the only one, but apparently not. I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one but at the same time scared cuz that could mean something is wrong with the ver. (;_

I maintain the modded Google Cal for the Galaxy Nexus, but it works on my RAZRi too, so I made the same CWM package for flashing.
Please ensure that you uninstall any previous updates of Google Calendar, if you updated it through the market, otherwise you won't see the text in month view as Android will use the old update then.
One tip after flashing (but this is not mandatory): Go to Settings -> Apps -> Calendar Provider (german: Kalenderspeicher) and empty data/cache, after that synchronize Calendar anew in "Accounts".
Google will synchronize old appointments up to 1 year then, not only the last 6 weeks as in standard.

I doubt there is any difference to the 0528 official Play Store app.
As I mod the Play Store app, there is no need to hack any ROM-versions. If the PS app gets an update, I will post it here.
But feel free to mod yourself, I posted a HowTo in the Galaxy Nexus Forum.
The Play Store got a pretty cool update for the Calendar, any chance for an update?

I downloaded newest version from play store. Although it has installed seemingly fine, and it does start when clicking the icon and can do the settings, when trying to add it to one of the homescreens or to the lockscreen it says "application is not installed" I have a samsung galaxy s4 i9505 with newest 4.3 stock modifed rom (omega v13.1). Hope you'll be able to fix it soon and we all can enjoy this superb app!

Hey man, already tried it. But I wasn't able to put the widget on the homescreen and a pop up says 'app not installed', though I get it from playstore. I guess it's not working on 4.1.2.
I closed this thread because the rules are that if you didn't develop it you shouldn't post it. Since I didn't develop it and only added a few things, I decided to close the thread.
For those of you who like the windowing feature I am using Android 7 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/development/rom-saosp-n-t3473634 along with Taskbar from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farmerbb.taskbar . Taskbar allows you to have fully functional windows for all your apps. I combine it with LMT Launcher from XDA to quickly launch other apps from any screen.

Thanks. I find that a launcher isn't a necessity with a desktop like Windows. Also LMT launcher gives me instant access to my most used apps.

Thank you for sharing your TWRP backup @lollyjay I have tested PhoenixOS now for a while. Of course it still has some bugs (especially the camera), but it looks very very nice and runs smoothly. Hopefully the next update features some fixes, improved translations, google services + apps and the possibility to fade out the taskbar.

Different Launcher
Is there a workaround to install a different launcher? I think there's a solution but for x86 PC's only. I find the desktop not so much appropriate for nexus 7 flo because of its small size (7'' only).
