anyone? i feellike it would be a simpleproccess i just need to know how tocreatea flashable zip and which files i need to locate

Well you need to know where hubs stores it layouts. /data/data/com.somethinghere
But yes you could flash it if you wanted. Does it not offer profiles for different layouts?
As for making a flash able zip lookup edify updater-script.

It integrates adw launcher ex, zooper widget pro, desktop visualizer, and folder organizer pro so its not assimple as setting up layouts. adw actually doeshave a feature tobackup UI but it only save widgetplacesments, not their settings and its kind of annoying togo throughandsetup every everysingle widget everytime. itslike 7 widgets per page and I have 7 pages. Ok so I'll have to find the com.~ folders for each of those apps in data/data right?

Folders and widgets

Hey... this is a pretty basic question... but is there any way to add a widget into a folder?
I want to have my music control widgets in a folder, not directly on the home screen. Don't think it's possible... but figured I'd check. Thanks!

You can use apps to accomplish this, like:
Widget Folder,
SwipePad with the WidgetPad add-on,
or Wave Launcher.
Thank you!

[Q] Sense 4 Apex Folder Background/Dock Background

I am trying to find the Sense 4.0 folder background & Sense 4.0 dock backround to use with Apex/CM10 and I am having no luck.
I know Apex allows you to select a custom folder background but I can't find the Sense 4.0 folder background image anywhere...can anyone extract these images from Sense for me...I hate the default folder backgrounds on Apex...so ugly!
I know this is a Q&A type thing but it's about themeing so maybe this is an acceptable place to put this? Please forgive me if not...
More specifically I am looking for these images from the "Matte Skin"...

Ahhhhh...finallllllly!!!! Thanks for helping a noob out....man...so much cleaner with these folder icons!
Now I just need to find a way to get the Apex dock image to select...it doesn't give me the option of a custom image (only custome theme image)...
Got any more magical advice?!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
When you go into apex settings>folders>folder background
It should have an option for custom, select it in the gallery and there you go

Right...I got the folders to work...and it looks great....can't find a way to get the dock to work though..doesn't seem to be an option to select your own image file like you can for the folders...
After doing some research I am thinking this isn't possible with Apex or Nova. I am going to try GO Launcher and see if that would work....this really shouldn't be that hard.
I know for a fact adw has this feature
Sorry I misread your question before

Ehhhh...just tried out ADW and it is less than impressive compared to Apex beta build. I'll figure out something. Might look into compiling a theme. Do you know if its possible to download an Apex theme from Play Store and then swap dock images somehow with a file explorer or something? I know you could do something like this on iPhone but not sure how that works with Android though...
Thoughts from anyone who is a lot more knowledgeable than me?!?

touchwiz folder
Is it possible to add touchwiz Jelly Bean folder (round platform) and/or opening animation to apex or another Launcher?
What I did was extracted the folder icon from the drawable folder of HTCs Rosie launcher .apk. Then you just choose a custom folder in the folder settings of Apex and select the icon from the gallery.

Yeah that's what I also did, but i wished it would be possible to have the animation too
Yeah. Maybe try suggesting it to Apex dev's. They recently added a suggestion I emailed them about (custom dock image).

Home Screen Folder

I have a HTC Evo 4g LTE, love it. I am able to make folders on my home screen containing Apps. I would like to do that with my Note but can't seem to see a way to do that. Anyone know how?
Long touch the screen, select folder, after that you just drag in it apps

Nice...Not as pretty as the HTC, but does what I need.
Thanks for the quick response.
Instead of folders I use circle launcher lite it is a app launcher that works with stock touch wiz that allows quite a bit of customization of it's interface appearence.

[Q] Folder Apps

I hate all the App shortcuts being in a big bunch in the Apps Menu. Is there any good apps that I can use to allow me to make folders I can sort them into ?
I would like to root my Xoom and put a newer version on but I don't get all the tech speak and jarganisum now.
Thanks
Most launchers support folders, but folders are only on the home pages. I don't know of any launchers that allow you to sort your apps into folders.

Go Launcher did, but it didn't look as good on the XOOM so it went. . Was looking for a simple app.
Sent from my MZ604 using xda premium
It wouldn't be a simple app. It would have to be a launcher that supported it.
Well this one doesn't need a launcher. I tried it didn't like it. The layout was'nt what I wanted. Also it tried to be to much.
But deff no launcher needed.
''Application Folder'
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=personal.jhjeong.app.appfolderlite
For serious, I think you should the Nova Launcher, you can create "tabs" with it and organize the way you want the apps, these tabs are the "apps" and "widgets" by default, but you still can create a tab called "games" for example! Good luck.

I was going to suggest the MIUI launcher but then remembered we never got one that supports the Xoom.

Restore home screen icons and folders

Can someone tell me how to restore my icons and folders after flashing a new ROM? I use TB and its been pretty easy getting everything back, but tired of having to recreate folders and creating shortcuts.
